00:00The good things about King's Eve is the shops. There are multiple shops for every need, so
00:08all next doors to each other, which is really good. The bad thing about King's Eve, I would
00:13have to say, is the traffic. It's noisy, it's loud, and it's very, very hard to cross the
00:18road.
00:19I think it's a lovely community with some lovely opportunities as well. There's definitely
00:24loads of variety of places down the road. There are definitely a lot of food restaurants
00:30and several chicken shops, but something I'd improve on is maybe a bit more greenery, better
00:37in public transport, and tackling crime a bit more. It can be a bit, what is it? Risk?
00:48Risk A. It's a bit scary sometimes, but it's a really nice area.
00:54Well I think it's a very nice area in part, but I think over the years it has gone downhill.
01:03It's a very vibrant area and there's lots going on with the church and local community
01:10activities. I'm a bowler and we've got a very strong bowling club just up the road at King's
01:18Heath Cricket Club and Sports Club. But it's a very handy place to live because of the
01:27shops and from my point of view because of the buses. But I just think it's not quite
01:34like it used to be. It doesn't feel as safe as it used to be.
01:38So we've been coming to King's Heath for a long time. It seems to have lost a lot of
01:43independent shops. It seems to be taken over by coffee shops, which is lovely if you want
01:50a cup of coffee, but any other general shopping it seems to have lost that. And I think a
01:56lot of other little town centres are in the same boat.
