00:00Good afternoon to all of us.
00:02I would like to update you on the weather forecast for this Friday.
00:05The hot winds from the Pacific Ocean are the ones that are affecting us right now,
00:09especially here in the Misilangon region of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
00:14So here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our islands,
00:18we will still experience sunny weather, partly cloudy,
00:22until the sky becomes cloudy,
00:24where this afternoon and later tonight, it is possible that it will rain,
00:29with easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
00:33In the meantime, we can see here that we are monitoring a tropical depression.
00:38We were able to see this in the 1,090 kilometers of extreme northern Luzon.
00:44There is a strong wind that reaches 55 kilometers per hour near the middle,
00:50and a storm that reaches 65 kilometers per hour.
00:54The movement is northwestward at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour.
00:59In our forecast, this will approach the Hong Kong area or mainland China tonight or tomorrow morning.
01:06This tropical depression is also the reason why,
01:10or as we can see here, this tropical depression is dragging the southwest monsoon.
01:17So here in our area, there is no effect or the effect of the southwest monsoon is offshore.
01:24That is why we do not expect any effect at the moment in any part of our country.
01:31And for the time of tomorrow,
01:34the easterlies will continue to be affected, especially in the northern part of the southern Luzon area.
01:40That is why there is a high chance of isolated rain showers there, especially in the afternoon and at night.
01:45It is the same here in Metro Manila and in other parts of Luzon,
01:49where we will experience a part of cloudy to cloudy skies.
01:54But in the afternoon and at night, we will still be prepared because of the possibility of isolated rain showers
02:00brought by localized thunderstorms.
02:03We can monitor the thunderstorm advisory that we release on our social media accounts.

02:47Let's go to the part of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:50where by tomorrow, we do not expect heavy rain showers there.
02:54That is why they will continue to experience clear skies, especially in the morning and afternoon.
03:00However, by the afternoon and evening, there is still a high chance of heavy rain showers brought by the easterlies.
03:08That is why for our countrymen, their homes are already coming out.
03:11Do not forget to bring an umbrella.
03:13It is also recommended for hot weather in the afternoon and for heavy rain showers in the afternoon and evening.
03:20Our temperature here in Iloilo is 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:2527 to 32 degrees in Metro Cebu and 27 to 32 degrees in the part of Tacloban City.

03:39It is also hot in Mezambuanga, the temperature will reach 34 degrees.
03:4333 degrees Celsius is the maximum temperature in Davao City.
03:49For our countrymen who will sail, it is still good news because we do not have a high gale warning
03:54for any country in our ocean and they are free to sail to any country in our ocean.
04:03And for our three-day weather outlook here in Luzon,
04:06particularly in Metro Manila, Baguio City, and Legazpi City,
04:10we do not expect heavy rain showers until Tuesday.
04:14And we will continue to experience sunny weather.
