Growing up Viktoria says around age 12 she became an Emo but was bullied out of it and tried more to fit in, however once she left school she realised she wouldn't let people's opinions of her stop her from being who she wants to be, and adopted her goth aesthetic. Viktoria says “I often get judged because of the way I look” and when she’s out in public she’s even had people take pictures and laugh at her. Viktoria believes “Everyone is free to do what they want” and says “People shouldn’t judge people on how they look, I do not judge anyone based on how they dress”. Although Viktoria says she loves goth and metal music she says “People only expect me to listen to gothic bands, but it’s quite fun to switch it up sometimes” so people are usually surprised to know that she’s also a big fan of Lana Del Rey, she is somewhat a guilty pleasure of hers and loves her soft pink coquette aesthetic. Viktoria wants to switch up her look completely and transform into a coquette girly - inspired by Lana Del Rey. She will be revealing her transformation to her partner Jack and friend Timea, who have never seen her outside of her Vampire Barbie aesthetic. Will they love it or not? 00:40 If I could summarize my look in a few words,

00:45 they would be vampiric and gothic.

00:48 I've been interested in the gothic subculture

00:51 ever since I was about nine or 10 years old

00:54 because I saw vampires on TV

00:57 and I really wanted to dress like that.

01:00 I think it's beautiful and cool looking.

01:02 The look I'm gonna do for Victoria today

01:05 is a soft feminine coquette look inspired by Lana Del Rey.

01:08 The key elements of this look are gonna be

01:11 natural, fresh skin, soft eyebrows,

01:14 there's gonna be a winged eyeliner

01:15 and some textured lashes.

01:17 I think she's gonna look very different

01:18 to how she looks now,

01:19 but I think she's gonna look very beautiful.

01:21 I'd say I've been dressing goth for about four years now.

01:25 I grew out my hair very long and I dyed it black.

01:28 I'm a natural blonde by the way.

01:29 I've also had multiple piercings.

01:32 I've got both my nostrils pierced

01:35 and I've got my septum, I've got my vertical labre,

01:37 got a bunch on my ears as well.

01:40 I've got my belly button and my tongue.

01:42 This is my favorite lipstick.

01:43 It's NYX Liquid Suede.

01:47 I do black lip liner,

01:48 then I just sort of fill in the gaps with this.

01:55 - So Victoria, why did you decide

01:57 on this type of transformation look?

01:58 - It's because this is like the complete opposite

02:01 of what I'd usually go for.

02:03 Natural and soft makeup is just not in my vocabulary.

02:07 In the past, I've tried dressing more basic to fit in

02:12 because I was bullied in school for being weird and ugly.

02:15 That's what they call me.

02:17 When I tried to fit in, I felt very unhappy

02:20 and it just wasn't me really.

02:23 And I just felt like I was having to fake everything,

02:27 especially my personality.

02:30 So I'm just using the Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation.

02:34 My partner isn't gonna recognize me.

02:36 - She really does like her style.

02:38 She's not very comfortable with colors.

02:40 I can't imagine her in very traditionally girly colors.

02:43 - I have a collection of thrifted vampire looking tops.

02:48 This is my favorite top that I've ever thrifted.

02:51 The other color I wear apart from black and red

02:54 is maybe sometimes dark purple.

02:57 I've got quite a lot of corsets.

02:59 So I've got over bust ones,

03:01 so which is the one I'm wearing

03:02 that comes like all the way over your body.

03:05 And there's also these ones that are under bust ones.

03:08 So they only go up to like here.

03:10 I can wear a corset as long as I want.

03:13 For me personally, they're not very uncomfortable.

03:17 I remove pretty much all my hairs off my eyebrows

03:21 to achieve the eyebrows I have at the moment.

03:24 I literally haven't had normal eyebrows

03:26 since I was like 15.

03:27 So I can imagine it would look quite strange.

03:30 I often get judged based on the way I look.

03:33 I've had it from strangers.

03:35 I've had it from family members, from friends.

03:39 Every time I'm out in public,

03:41 I've had people take pictures of me, laugh at me.

03:44 I have people coming up to me and saying I look like a witch

03:48 or I look like a vampire.

03:50 I don't take offense to those types of things,

03:53 but I can see that they mean it in an offensive way.

03:56 Everyone is free to do what they want.

03:58 And this is how I want to be.

04:01 So I think people shouldn't necessarily judge other people

04:04 based on how they look.

04:06 I do not judge anyone based on how they dress.

04:11 So today I'm going to be transforming

04:14 from my vampire Barbie look

04:16 into a sort of a coquette girly look

04:19 because I actually happen to be a big fan of Lana Del Rey.

07:54 This experience has taught me that I'm very much

07:58 comfortable in my own style that I usually wear,

08:01 and it just has taught me that I feel so much prettier
