00:15 Aside from beautiful beaches and delicious food,

00:22 there is a new place to look forward to in Batangas City.

00:25 The 45-meter high glass walkway in Barangay Pagkilatan, Batangas City.

00:29 For those who want to reach the shrine, road trip is the first thing to do.

00:32 In a few minutes, you can see the 78-meter high statue of Virgin Mary,

00:38 which is called Monte Maria Shrine.

00:40 When you reach the shrine, you will feel the fresh air,

00:44 which is perfect for relaxing.

00:47 And the glass walkway at the 45-meter high,

00:51 which is 118 meters long.

00:54 According to the Monte Maria Shrine,

00:56 this glass walkway was built in 2023 for tourists and Batangas residents.

01:02 It requires a strong heart and a strong will

01:05 so that you won't be lost from here on up.

01:09 It's a tourist destination, a place to go to.

01:12 The theme park is what they really brainstormed upon.

01:15 So this glass walkway is just a part of that theme park.

01:20 The glass walkway is 3 inches thick.

01:23 They also imported steel and some reinforcements for it.

01:26 We'll just take a look at it for now.

01:28 The glass walkway is not yet open to the public

01:31 because of some documents that are being filed in the LGU.

01:34 There will also be a water test and pressure test

01:37 to see if it's strong and solid.

01:39 The target is to open it to the public before Christmas

01:42 and the entrance fee is from P250 to P300.

01:47 Maybe around 5 months or before Christmas,

01:51 because this is really being done quickly.
