00:00Everyone has their own thinking about what is the solution and to take Pakistan forward,
00:05I think there is a solution.
00:08And that is the Charter of Democracy that was done in 2006,
00:13in which there were two major political parties at that time, PMLN and PPP.
00:17And in that, every word was in reference to democracy,
00:22in reference to commitment towards democracy,
00:25and in reference to accepting this, the politics that we both did in the 90s,
00:30Mian Nawaz Shahid and Benazir Shahid,
00:33both recognized that we took the support of non-democratic forces to bring each other down.
00:39And we will not do this again. There was this recognition.
00:42So I say that now both parties, PMLN and PPP, should increase,
00:46and offer PTI, exact word by word, the same Charter of Democracy.
00:53Are they ready to do that today?
00:55That we will not try to bring down our enemy through any other non-democratic force.
01:02There is no other way.
01:04Everyone is committed to the Charter.
01:06No one disagrees that we will interrupt the Charter.
01:09Everyone says that on the basis of Form 45, Form 47 should be there.
01:13But practically, are we doing it or not?
01:17Now it is obvious that when you get so frustrated,
01:20you cannot calculate how the people will react.
01:28If I were in Islamabad, and I had won,
01:33and I understand that I would have won,
01:36and Form 45 is not only according to me,
01:38but other political parties that have fought and lost,
01:42like Mustafa Khokhar,
01:44then how difficult is this?
01:46At the national level,
01:48if the Prime Minister does not understand that we are denying justice,
01:54we are trying to suppress it,
01:56we are also trying to suppress the voice.
01:58The judiciary, now 6 judges had said,
02:00where did that matter go?
02:02It's been 1.5-2 months now,
02:046 judges publicly said that we are being suppressed,
02:07our work is being pressured,
02:09our homes are being bugged.
02:11What did they do?
02:13The Prime Minister went to the Chief Justice one day,
02:15after that the matter was over.
02:17A former Chief Justice was appointed,
02:20although the matter did not have to go to the Chief Justice.
02:24The institutions come under the Prime Minister,
02:26they talk about the interference of the executive.
02:28As the head of the executive,
02:30it was his responsibility to address those grievances.
02:33They have forgotten, because the pressure is over.
02:35They have forgotten,
02:37neither do they have the courage to do it,
02:39nor do they want it to end.
02:41Yes, yes, absolutely right.
02:43Assalam-o-Alaikum.
