00:00Snoopy was one of the dogs that had been there the longest.
00:07He loves every single person that he meets, and he was always so incredibly happy to get
00:12out of his kennel.
00:15He has this adorable thing that he does where if there is a blanket or a toy around him,
00:19he nibbles on it, and everybody absolutely fell in love with him.
00:25His videos were always going viral, but we still just weren't able to find the perfect
00:29fit for him.
00:31I found Snoopy through Ben Franklin Humane Society.
00:36I volunteered there for a little over two years.
00:41I would get him water and strawberries from Starbucks so that he could have a special
00:46treat.
00:49He is truly the happiest dog that I have ever met.
00:55With the combination of Snoopy being a senior dog, having health issues, and him also needing
01:02to be an only dog, it made it really hard for him to get adopted.
01:07To help get Snoopy a foster or adopter, I started posting him on my social media.
01:16I volunteered also with Forgotten Dogs Rescue, and so I asked them, could you possibly take
01:21on Snoopy?
01:22And they were able to find the most perfect foster ever.
01:27When he left the shelter, so many of the staff came over just to say goodbye to him because
01:37he was totally a shelter favorite.
01:39Is he going in no time?
01:42I'm so excited.
01:43I'm so excited.
01:44I'm so excited.
01:45Do you want to say goodbye?
01:46Bye, Bubba.
01:47You'll be such a good boy.
01:48From the get-go, I knew that she was going to be the most amazing foster in the universe.
01:55We like treats.
01:56No, it's not crunchy.
01:57The moment he moved in with me, I made sure that I would make up to him what life did
02:07to him.
02:08That's my boy.
02:09So he's getting spoiled every day.
02:13He needed to lose weight, but I don't believe in eating less.
02:16I believe in walking more.
02:18So we walk between four and six miles every day.
02:23Sometimes he just decides to grab a toy and wants to take it with him.
02:28He loves his toy.
02:31When he sucks on the toys, we call it lip nips.
02:36I knew he was going to be mine.
02:39Snoopy turned into a foster fail.
02:42Snoopy has impacted my life so much with him being so positive and happy.
02:49Oh, that's so good.
02:51I call it the Snoopy effect because that's just the kind of guy he is.
