00:00Richard Boswell, the crew chief for the number 14.
00:02You guys had a top five finish here at New Hampshire.
00:04And I don't even want to call it a crazy day,
00:06because that might be an understatement.
00:07Walk me through the day atop the pit box.
00:09Yeah, honestly, in the dry, we just weren't very good.
00:12And we've had a rough month and kind of told Chase
00:14at the beginning of the weekend that we
00:16needed to stop the bleeding.
00:17And never thought we'd get back going green,
00:21but thankfully we did.
00:22And Chase honestly just did a fantastic job
00:24driving through the field in the wet.
00:26And good feedback when we were able to put tires on it
00:28and just continue to make it better.
00:29As far as the crew chief point of view,
00:31what feedback will you give NASCAR
00:32with these wet weather tires on what
00:34you'd like to see in the future?
00:35Well, first of all, kudos to them for sticking it out.
00:38You know, I think everybody had kind of given up on it
00:40and thought we were done for the day.
00:42So kudos to them for sticking it out.
00:44You know, throughout the race, we have our team's messenger.
00:46And I kind of communicated with NASCAR
00:48throughout as to what we were seeing.
00:49And that first set of tires honestly looked great.
00:51But as the track dried and the pace picked up,
00:53they started to wear quite a bit.
00:55So certainly a lot for us to learn as a team,
00:58and NASCAR to learn as an organization.
01:00But honestly, I mean, they were three and four wide
01:02throughout the whole last 30, 40 laps of that race.
01:05So that was pretty exciting.
01:06Thanks, Richard.
01:07Thank you.
