Sheffield student trash - is it better this year?
Transcript
00:00I mean we haven't exactly been given advice on where to put our stuff, we've just been told it needs to be in the right bin, the right things in the right bin, however, I don't see how we're expected to get whole houses, rubbish, in one black bin.
00:13We've also been told we can't leave things out the front, that would be a fine, but it's almost impossible not to do so. You can see over here as well, the other houses, they've got a literal trolley, they've got overflowing bins.
00:25No, this has been here for days, this has been here for days. Everyone down the street hides their bins so no one can put their stuff in, it's a bit crazy.
00:35What's the answer do you think?
00:38I guess quicker collection, more bins maybe, maybe a designated place where everyone can go put their stuff, make it a bit easier, but yeah, I'm not too sure really.
00:51The days that the students are moving out, the council should provide larger bins because students don't have the facility to take the stuff to tips, and I mean here we've got piles of rubbish, the ones from our house I'm going to take home in my car to Lincoln, but it's not ideal.
01:07Do you think it's better this year?
01:09Absolutely not, I wouldn't be happy if I lived here.
01:21Thank you.
