00:35Grandpa gave Beth and Michael an apple tree. They planted it next to the wall watered it and waited
00:46All winter the wind howled the snow fell and the rain lashed
00:51The apple tree stayed the same bare and still
00:55Beth and Michael waited
01:01Spring came one morning. There were green shoots on the apple tree
01:10The green shoots turned into leaves shiny and new
01:18Then there were blossoms pink and white
01:21These buzz busily all over the tree Beth and Michael waited
01:30The blossoms withered and blew away
01:37In their place there were fat bumps on the stalks which grew and grew
01:46And grew into apples the size of marbles
01:49Then the size of ping-pong balls
01:52Then the size of tennis balls
01:55Beth and Michael still waited
02:01At last the apples were ready big and round and red
02:06We'll pick them tomorrow said Beth and Michael
02:13But that night a hungry possum sneaked up and
02:22Scrunch crackle slurp
02:30He ate the whole lot stalks seeds and all
