00:00Japanese Ambassador Endo Kazuya hopes that the relationship between the Philippines and Japan will get better.

00:07He also mentioned the importance of the GMA Network in promoting their culture.

00:19In a courtesy call of the Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines, Endo Kazuya to the officials of the GMA Network.

00:26The first to talk about the popularity of Voltes 5 in the country.

00:30He was the first to appear on GMA back in 1978 and made a live-action adaptation of the network.

00:35In fact, I remember Mr. Yalong and I were very young when we started to watch Voltes 5 on television.

00:45And since then, a great number of the hit animes from Japan have been released locally, broadcast through our network.

00:57The GMA Network President and CEO, Gilberto Ardovic Jr., thanked the Japanese Embassy for the projects of the GMA Kakuso Foundation

01:05and the technology of Japan, which is a large part of the daily operations of the network.

01:10If you will notice, practically all our cameras are designed and built in Japan.

01:18And Japan continues to be a primary source of our technical requirements in our broadcast operations.

01:27The Japanese Ambassador thanked the GMA President for promoting their culture in the country through their shows.

01:35Voltes 5 has become a symbol of hope, courage, and unity.

01:40Values that resonate deeply within our cultures.

01:44GMA has played a pivotal role in this narrative,

01:48acting as a bridge that spans the vast oceans between our two nations,

01:54bringing us closer together through the magic of media and storytelling.

02:00The Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Philippe S. Yalong was also present.

02:05And Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy, Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.

02:11According to Ambassador Endo, he hopes that the future of the Philippines and Japan will be even better.
