04:42season Devante Adams is in New York?
04:45And if not Joe,
04:46why does Aaron Rodgers just keep talking to bring more drama to gang

04:52Cause that's what Aaron Rodgers does guys,
04:54you know that as well as anybody else.
04:56And if he does play with Devante Adams,
04:58I don't think it'll be in the New York jets uniform.

05:36Or how he's going to come back from that injury?
05:38Let's just say he's somewhat the Aaron Rodgers.
05:40We anticipated him to be when he came over to the jets.
05:43How can you sell somebody and say,

05:46That's just a seven or eight win football team at this point,
05:48they got talent at every level.
05:50How do you look for the optimism with Aaron Rodgers and tell somebody
05:53like they should be a 10 win football team here?

05:57they should you're right.
05:58They're clearly better than the new England Patriots.
06:01They can challenge both the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins from a
06:05roster perspective,
06:06but it goes down to Aaron Rodgers.

06:10throughout the week.
06:11I said it on the off off season shows that if Aaron Rodgers was
06:14completely dialed in,
06:15he would have been at the mandatory minicamp.
06:18I mean,
06:19you're the face of the franchise.
06:20You're the leader.
06:21You haven't played in the jets uniform outside of basically for place.
06:25What does that show your team?
06:27What does it show?

06:29What does it show?
06:30Do you really believe that Aaron Rodgers really cares about winning an AFC
06:34championship?

06:36And from the betting and gambling perspective,

06:46I think if you want to make an excuse for Aaron Rodgers,
06:48you say him missing two days at practice doesn't really mean much.
06:52He can keep talking about all this off season drama.

06:58The X's and O's by the time we get to the 2024 NFL campaign,
07:02but it does bring attention to the biggest media market and a big
07:06organization in it.
07:08The New York jets with that attention,
07:11your expectation level changes.
07:13If you look simply at the New York jets improving on what they have done
07:17the last decade and a half,
07:19that would be a playoff spot.
07:21They have not reached the playoffs for 13 consecutive seasons.
07:25So what do you think the New York jets will consider success this year?
07:30Is it double digit wins?
07:31Is it a playoff birth?
07:33It is a, is it a divisional title?
07:35Is it contending for the AFC championship?
07:37It has to be at least 10 wins in a wild card.
07:41I'll give you that.
07:42Especially what Aaron Rodgers coming back from the Achilles and Donnie
07:45touched on it as well.
07:46There's no guarantee that Aaron Rodgers is going to hit the ground running
07:50last time.
07:51He played a full season.
07:52He threw 12 interceptions and cost his team a playoff appearance against the
07:56Detroit lions.
07:57So for me, that's the biggest question.
08:00I still can't believe from the, from the odds perspective, guys,
08:03they are $10 cheaper, right?
08:06In terms of shorter odds than the Cleveland Browns at 20 to one that made it
08:10with Joe Flacco last year, their fourth string quarterback.
08:13If we look also and just say,
08:16cause the jets right now do seem like a powder keg.
08:18If things go right, they can be a pretty good football team, but Joe,
08:21is it just so simple to put the focus on Aaron Rodgers?
08:24Where if he plays well, the jets make the playoffs.
08:27If he doesn't, then they're just going nowhere.
08:29Or can they just get average play out of Aaron Rodgers and still be a quality
08:33football team?
08:34Because this team looks like it's ready to make a move,
08:36but we just don't know if it's bad or good this year.
08:39Well, again, yeah,
08:40we saw the situation play out in Denver a couple of years ago where the
08:44defense kept them in games each and every game and Russell Wilson and the
08:49quarterback play failed to elevate to the next level.
08:52And the team imploded in the second half of the season.
08:54So it comes down to Robert's a lot comes down to defense, Donnie.
08:58They need to be legit throughout the season.
09:01The defense was great last year and has a ton of young talent to anchor the
09:05way once again, but we know the Russell Wilson era,
09:08just two years in Denver was a disaster.
09:10How long will Aaron Rodgers be in New York?
09:13What will the overall outcome and result be for this franchise that has
09:18bigger than just one individual?
09:21As we've shared training camp starts tomorrow.
09:24The rookies for the Ravens show up on Saturday.
09:27By the time we get to Wednesday of next week,
09:30we will have 12 of 32 clubs already sending their rookies to report to camp.

09:37I said the bears were the first team to send their veterans to camp a week

09:42A couple of days earlier, a Wednesday in H town,
09:46the Texans who will take all the bears in the hall of fame game on August
09:501st, send both their rookies and their veterans.

11:06but the wide receiver position where they might not be happy this season

11:17If Joe Burrow gets hurt,
11:18or he's not a hundred percent in terms of the wrist injury and can't
11:22make all the throws,
11:23that's a cause of concern.

11:26they had that same issue with Matt Stafford a couple of years ago,
11:28and he stepped up and led his team to a playoff appearance last year.
11:32So you got to buy,
11:33you got to take the risk with the reward.

13:07Shane Stiketon was running that offense.

13:11They go to a younger guy who was the quarterback coach and Brian
13:13Johnson.
13:14It was a disaster.
13:15It was vanilla.
13:16It just didn't work.
13:17The Eagles collapsed at the end of the season.
13:19Kellen Moore comes to town,
13:20hopefully getting that vertical pass game underway with those talented
13:23wide receivers.
13:24Give me a preview on Jalen hurts.

13:29I have to tread lightly with you and Kevin Walsh.

13:45He has to run a little bit more bagged up at the end of last year.
13:49But with the addition of Kellen Moore,
13:51hopefully there's more offensive balance.
13:53That'll take the pressure off.
13:55And as long as they win 11,

13:57I think that Jalen hurts is right there.
