00:01The Big 12.
00:04Training camp starts this weekend in the National Football
00:07League. That's the unofficial kickoff of what we will see in
00:10an NFL season fall camp on the horizon in college football,
00:14but the real unofficial kickoff media days around the
00:18country in Las Vegas this week. Big 12 media days after
00:22hours with the bees and coops presented by the Pac 12 and
00:25Mountain West media days. We focus on the Big 12 in
00:29city and of course on Wednesday afternoon. It was the prime
00:33era in year number two in Colorado getting off to a start
00:37with Deion Sanders at the podium Joe as we look at the
00:41football perspective for Colorado this year. Donnie and I
00:45had the debate kind of like we just did with the New York
00:47Jets when there's so much notoriety and attention for a
00:51team that has struggled to even see the playoffs in the last
00:54decade plus what does actual success look like for a
00:58Colorado team? That was four and eight a season ago in year
01:02number one under Deion Sanders. What does success look like
01:06in year number two? Yeah, we talked about it on the radio
01:09Ben success in year two is six and six and a bowl appearance.
01:13That would be the biggest thing for Colorado to get back at
01:16least over the hump and have their sights set on year
01:19number three with the Deion era the biggest question Ben and
01:23we talked about it again. Does Deion want to be there from
01:26years three to five? If so, the six win possibility is well
01:31within reach. They have winnable games. They have the
01:34type of quarterback and Shador Sanders to outscored teams.
01:37What do you get from the defense? They were pathetic
01:39against the run and most importantly the offensive line
01:42broke down 50 plus sacks allowed. They need to run the
01:46football better as well dead last in FPS. If they can get
01:49to six wins, that's a huge accomplishment. But these
01:52tickets on them winning a national championship or
01:55breaking down the college football playoff door. You got
01:58to get real. They got a tough game right out of the gate
02:02against NDSU. We'll see what happens with North Dakota State
02:05University of certainly a quality program, but let's move
02:07on to some other power five conferences. You got the ACC
02:10the Big 12 the Big 10 and the SEC a lot of changing parts
02:14here moving through and through favorites here, Florida State
02:17and the ACC Utah and the Big 12 the Big 10 still with Ohio
02:20State. Then you have Georgia at a plus 185 in the SEC with
02:23the changing landscape of college football. Give us some
02:26teams in those power conferences that you might be
02:28looking forward to to win those conferences. Yeah. I mean
02:31the ACC I'm dialed into Florida State because I believe they
02:35have the best roster Donnie. I mean Clemson is appealing
02:38at four to one in Louisville. They made it to the ACC
02:41championship game last year and for in the first year
02:44with Jeff Brown. They're definitely a team that has odds
02:47at 10 to 1 in the Big 12. I know Utah's the frontrunner,
02:51but the conference realignment scares me Kyle Whittingham. Is
02:54he all dialed in? What do you get out of Cam rising? So I'm
02:57going to go with my guy Texas Tech and Joey McGuire. I think
03:01he's done a fantastic job. Brennan Morton and Todd's Brooks
03:04come back 18 total starters. I think they have legs. If we're
03:08talking the SEC, I only go with family and I'm going with
03:12Nussbaumer and Brian Kelly. They have great odds at plus
03:16750 to win or 950 now to win the SEC championship plus
03:20125 to make the playoffs and Brian Kelly. I trust
03:25Brian Kelly in year number three always does well at
03:29wherever stop. He has been around college football. Let's
03:33look individual now at the Heisman Trophy. Dylan Gabriel
03:37the new quarterback at Oregon transferring from Oklahoma plus
03:41750 a co-favorite as he moves up the board with Carson Beck
03:45plus 750 Georgia's quarterback the guy on your screen
03:49Quinn youth. Oh, no. Sorry Quinn. You were a 10 to 1
03:54price. I figured you might like that. That's a credit to our
04:00graphic. Sir, Jesse Metzger who reminded us of a great
04:05joke when you were 10 to 1 their third best number to win
04:09the Heisman Trophy. Lacey guy who gets your early look in the
04:12Heisman Trophy race. Well on that board right now, I would
04:16take a shot on Ole Miss and Jackson Dart. We talked about
04:19its versatility. We talked about Ole Miss knocking off Penn
04:22State in the ball game what they bring to the table. They
04:25could be a 10 win football team and certainly make the college
04:28football playoffs. So in terms of those odds, I'm taking a shot
04:32on Jackson Dart. They're going to have one of the most
04:34prolific offenses in all the college football. But to me,
04:37it's the year of the running back. I played all the
04:39running backs big name Ali Gordon now down to 75 to 1 my
04:44guys Donovan Edwards. He started at a hundred to one now
04:47down to 90 to one on multiple books. Keep an eye out for him
04:51and then obviously Quinn Sean Junkins as well. The year of
04:55the running back the last running back to win the what
04:58what do you say? Quinn Sean.
05:05That was good. Very good. The last time a running back won
05:09the Heisman Trophy Derrick Henry in Alabama in 2015.
