00:00I've been thoroughly briefed by all the agencies in the federal government as to the situation
00:05based on what we know now.
00:07I have tried to get a hold of Donald, he's with his doctors, apparently he's doing well.
00:15I plan on talking to them shortly, I hope, when I get back to the telephone.
00:20Look, there's no place in America for this kind of violence.
00:24It's sick.
00:25It's sick.
00:26It's one of the reasons why we have to unite this country.
00:29We cannot allow for this to be happening.
00:31We cannot be like this.
00:33We cannot condone this.
00:35And so, I want to thank the Secret Service and all the agencies, including the state
00:39agencies that have been engaged in making sure that the people who, and we have more
00:44detail to come relative to other people who may be injured in the audience, I don't have
00:49all that detail, we'll make that available to you.
00:52I may be able to come back a little later tonight, but we'll put out a statement if
00:56we don't, if I'm not able to, if it's not convenient for you all.
01:00But the bottom line is that the Trump rally was a rally that he should have been able
01:05to be conducted peacefully and without any problem.
01:08But the idea, the idea that there's political violence or violence in America like this
01:14is just unheard of.
01:15It's just not appropriate.
01:16And we, everybody, everybody must condemn it.
01:19Everybody.
01:20I'll keep you informed, and if I'm able to speak to Donald, I'll let you know that
01:25as well.
01:26But so far, it appears he's doing well, number one.
01:31Number two, that they're thoroughly investigating what happened to anyone else in the audience.
01:36I have, we have some reports, but not final reports.
01:40And every agency in the federal government, I'll be, and I'm going back to my phone
01:45to speak with the federal agencies that are being put together again to give me an updated
01:50briefing.
01:51If anything happened, they learned any more in the last couple hours.
01:54So thank you very much, and I hope I get to speak to him tonight, and I'll get back
01:58to you if I do.
01:59Okay?
02:00Mr. President, do you think it was an assassination attempt?
02:03I don't know enough to, I have an opinion, but I don't have any facts.
02:08So I want to make sure we have all the facts before I make some comment, any more comments.
02:12Thank you.
