मंगलवार को लोकसभा में वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण मोदी सरकार के तीसरे कार्यकाल का पहला पूर्णकालिक बजट पेश कर किया। निर्मला सीतारमण लगातार 7वीं बार बजट पेश करने वाली देश की पहली वित्त मंत्री हैं। इसपर उत्तर प्रदेश के डिप्टी सीएम ब्रजेश पाठक ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण द्वारा प्रस्तुत बजट आधुनिक भारत के निर्माण में सहायक होगा। यह प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के मार्गदर्शन में 2047 तक भारत को विकसित बनाने के लोगों के सपने को पूरा करने वाला बजट है। छात्रों, किसानों और अन्य वर्गों के लिए भी बड़ा तोहफा दिया गया है।
