00:00From the ground floor, the single-string staircase leads down to a full basement and up to a
00:07second story, where you're greeted by an unusual piece of art.
00:11This is one of the doors from the project.
00:12You're just hanging out.
00:14Right.
00:15You just repurposed it for some artwork.
00:16So this is a pretty heavy piece of artwork.
00:19Almost 400 pounds.
00:20Wow.
00:21What do you just hold it up with?
00:22Just a nail?
00:23No, not likely.
00:24We got about three or four lag bolts.
00:25It's awesome.
00:26Thank you.
00:27I love it.
00:28The project also features a cantilever deck, the primary bed and bath, and children's rooms,
00:33all made from recycled containers otherwise bound for the scrap yard.
00:37We really liked the idea of using something that was no longer going to have use out of
00:43it and just sit.
00:44I don't know if I could ever not upcycle another home, I'll be honest.
00:48Yeah.
00:49Well, it's just fun taking this piece that you cut off and thinking, well, instead of
00:53tossing it, let's do something else with it.
00:54And it makes your house even more unique and more you.
