00:00Just a few hours before the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics,

00:06which for the first time, will not be held inside the stadium of Ikakasa,

00:09the team of the Philippines is ready to fight for their hearts,

00:13especially since this is the 100th anniversary of our country's involvement in the game.

00:17Ian Cruz is on the line.

00:31The venue is ready,

00:33and the Philippine athletes are ready for the long-awaited sporting event of the whole world,

00:39the 2024 Paris Olympics.

00:42The opening ceremony will be held tomorrow, at 1 p.m. EDT in the Philippines,

00:48which like the previous Olympics, is expected to be grand and colorful.

00:54It is also historic because this is the first Olympics opening outside a stadium.

00:59It is expected to last for 4 hours.

01:01The program will feature 12 artistic displays that will be based on the French-Parisian heritage.

01:0980 giant screens will also be placed on the Chien River.

01:16There is no official list of performers yet,

01:18but Lady Gaga and Celine Dion have already been spotted in Paris,

01:23so everyone is looking forward to seeing them.

01:26More than 10,000 athletes will be there.
