00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays and what the hell is that smell? Oh don't worry, that's just the
00:1310 worst AAA games of the decade. AAA assumes quality, we expect money, time and care and
00:19unfortunately that means they better bloody deliver, and sometimes they don't. Let's take
00:24a look at the absolute bombs.
00:27Before we continue, we publish content all week long so be sure to subscribe and ring

00:35Fast and Furious Crossroads
00:49Fast and Furious Crossroads received criticism primarily due to its lacklustre graphics,
00:54uninspired gameplay mechanics and shallow storyline that failed to capture the essence
00:58of the Fast and Furious franchise. It's been a crap game without you my friend, and I'll
01:02tell you all about it when I see you again. Players found the driving physics and overall
01:07game performance very average, with repetitive missions and unpolished multiplayer modes.
01:13The game also suffered from technical issues and a general lack of polish, failing to deliver
01:17the high-octane thrills and engaging narrative expected from the franchise.
01:33Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League
01:54Let's talk highly anticipated, massive f***ing letdowns. Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League
01:59disappointed due to numerous gameplay and narrative flaws, and narrative flaws, and
02:04did I mention narrative flaws? With repetitive missions, uninspired combat mechanics and
02:09technical issues that hindered player experience, this ended up as more than a letdown, but
02:14just a terrible game regardless of anticipation. The game's attempts at humour and storytelling
02:20often fell flat, failing to capture the essence of the Suicide Squad's dynamic and the gravity
02:25of their mission against the Justice League. It's just so damn lame, and I truly wish
02:29it wasn't. Anthem
02:48Anthem aimed to blend the appeal of Destiny with the action-packed style of Halo. At its
02:52peak, Anthem delivers moments of brilliant, stunning visuals and exhilarating gameplay.
02:57However, at its lowest points, the game offers the worst pile of garbage we've ever experienced.
03:02Its whiplash at its best. Primarily due to its repetitive gameplay loops, lack of meaningful
03:07content and technical issues, the game is considered one of the bigger disappointments
03:12in anticipated games of the last 10 years. The promise of a dynamic, cooperative experience
03:17fell short as bugs and performance issues plagued the game at launch. With a failure
03:21to deliver meaningful updates quickly, the player count dropped quicker than a fat kid
03:26eats cake. And trust me, I played the game, and I'm also a fat kid, so I've seen it all.
03:31Battlefield 2042
03:39Uh oh, another game that launched with numerous technical issues, bugs and performance problems
03:52that hindered gameplay. We definitely aren't going to see a lot of that today. The absence
03:56of a single-player campaign and lack of compelling narrative elements left many feeling disconnected
04:01from Battlefield 2042's world, and the game's large-scale maps promoted as a highlight often
04:07felt empty and failed to deliver the dynamic, immersive battles expected from the franchise.
04:12This game, like all games on this list, failed to live up to the expectations set out by
04:17previous entries.
04:29Redfall
04:37Redfall's release was so disappointing that I still fully and totally believe what they
04:42launched was merely an alpha build. Equally surprising is why Microsoft didn't cancel
04:47the project when reviewing Arkane's lineup of upcoming games. What's more surprising
04:51is that I couldn't get a refund for some reason, and I'm now using my platform to officially
04:55call out Redfall. Give me my money. Redfall disappointed due to one substantial reason,
05:01lack of innovation. It failed to live up to the expectations set by Arkane Studios' previous
05:05successes and did not deliver a compelling experience for players. It was a poopy, plain
05:10and simple.
05:12Umbrella Corps
05:27To create a successful horror game spin-off inspired by the iconic Resident Evil series,
05:32the focus should be on terrifying players with frightening elements rather than unsettling
05:36gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately, this memo didn't reach the 2016 tactical shooter Umbrella
05:42Corps. Its gameplay mechanics are more off-putting than genuinely horrifying, lacking the series
05:47trademark suspense and intense zombie shooting action. What's more, despite being set in
05:52the same universe, Umbrella Corps doesn't carry the Resident Evil name, further distancing
05:56itself from the franchise's core strengths. It may have been for the best, as this game
06:01fails to do justice to the esteemed Resident Evil franchise. Umbrella Corps was worse than
06:05Resident Evil 6, which feels mean to even say.
06:18Marvel's Avengers
06:32Marvel's Avengers faced criticism primarily due to repetitive gameplay, uninspired missions
06:36and technical issues. It faced criticism from me due to milking, beating a dead horse and
06:41harping like a string section. The game's narrative failed to captivate players with
06:45a lacklustre story campaign and shallow character development. Players found the loot system
06:50and progression mechanics unengaging, leading to a tedious grind for upgrades. If there
06:55was any IP more full of anticipation back in 2020 than Avengers, I haven't heard of
07:00it.
07:11WWE 2K20
07:29WWE 2K20 was criticised for its numerous technical glitches and bugs, which severely impacted
07:36gameplay and visual quality. Players reported frequent crashes, awkward character animations
07:41and unreliable online features. The game's overall performance was widely panned, resulting
07:47in a poor reception and dissatisfaction among fans of the series. You'd think it wouldn't
07:51be that hard to get a game right that has been the same game since WWF, but apparently
07:55not. It's time for them to knock some devs out of the ring.
07:59Marvel vs Capcom Infinite
08:10Fans cherished Marvel vs Capcom for its fast-paced combat, complex combos and huge character
08:16roster. However, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite disappointed with a significantly reduced
08:21character line-up and lacklustre art style. What's more annoying than losing the character
08:25Sigma and no longer being able to make Sigma jokes? Nothing, that's what. Eurogamer reported
08:31sales fell short of Capcom's 2 million target, selling only 1 million copies, and its absence
08:37from major tournaments like EVO 2018 and Capcom Pro Tour really highlighted its lack of impact.
08:44Skull & Bones
09:00Originally anticipated for its promise of naval combat in the vein of Assassin's Creed
09:04Black Flag, Skull & Bones struggled with repeated delays and shifting development priorities.
09:10It could only stay excited for so long, and Skull & Bones is no GTA 6, or Elder Scrolls
09:156, and it was low-key acting like it was. When released, it lacked the innovation and
09:20depth expected, offering repetitive gameplay loops and a lacklustre progression system.
09:25Ultimately, Skull & Bones failed to live up to its initial hype, leaving fans and reviewers
09:29underwhelmed by its execution, much like every entry we've seen. Pick it up guys!
