00:00Good evening. There's been plenty of dry sunny weather across the UK today and it will continue
00:06the next couple of days as well for the vast majority of us. And high pressure currently
00:11sat to the southeast of the UK, low pressure towards the northwest. And this weather front
00:16does edge its way south and eastwards, but as a weakening feature. Otherwise, high pressure
00:22tends to hold on the next couple of days. But towards the middle of the week, lower
00:26pressure, high humidity air moving across southern parts of England and Wales could
00:33lead to some hefty downpours, developing some thunderstorms as well, particularly Wednesday
00:38and into Thursday. So it is worth staying up to date with the forecast over the coming
00:43few days. Fine end to Sunday, plenty of sunshine ahead of dusk. Then overnight for much of
00:49England and Wales, it stays dry, lengthy, clear skies, perhaps some mist and fog patches
00:54forming towards the end of the night across parts of Northern Ireland into Scotland. Thicker
00:59cloud at times could give one or two light showers. And by the end of the night, this
01:03weather front does start to approach the Western Isles, perhaps some rain arriving here as
01:08the sun rises. Temperatures generally holding up despite clear skies. We could see temperatures
01:14times of cities 12 to 15 Celsius dipping into single figures, parts of Wales, the West Country.
01:19So a bit of a fresh start here to start Monday morning, but plenty of sunshine and it stays
01:25that way for much of England and Wales through the day. Cloudier skies generally for Northern
01:30Ireland, southern parts of Scotland, perhaps Northern England too. Thick enough for just
01:34one or two light showers. And then this weather front does start to approach from the Atlantic
01:40to give some splashes of rain for the western coast of Scotland, perhaps moving into Northern
01:44Ireland later on in the afternoon. But for most of us, it will be dry and sunny and temperatures
01:49rising a little higher than Sunday, reaching around 29, possibly 30 Celsius towards the
01:55southeast. Temperatures a little lower further north under the clouds, generally between
01:5918 and 23 degrees for the afternoon. So in the sunshine feeling fairly pleasant. UV levels
02:07generally high to very high. So strong summer sunshine just a little lower where we do have
02:12more cloud across the northwest of the UK. Through the evening time, we'll see this weather
02:17front just push slowly south and eastwards as we head into the early hours. It becomes
02:22more of a cloudy feature with just some light rain and drizzle over the hills. Further south,
02:27it remains dry overnight, so much of England and Wales again seeing prolonged clear spells.
02:32And behind the weather front, a legacy of cloud in places, one or two showers across
02:37the far northwest of Scotland, perhaps Northern Ireland too. But most places dry and temperatures
02:42again remaining in double figures, starting to feel more humid across southern parts of
02:48England and Wales. So we've got this weather front first thing on Tuesday across parts
02:52of Northern England, Northern Ireland. It just sinks its way southwards a little. An
02:57area of cloud also moves into parts of Northern Ireland, stretching into southern parts of
03:01Scotland as we head through the day on Tuesday. Perhaps thick enough for one or two spots
03:05of rain. Otherwise, most places fine and dry. Plenty of sunshine and the sunshine strong
03:12once again across England and Wales, helping to lift temperatures to around 30, 31 Celsius
03:17towards the southeast. Temperatures a little more comfortable across parts of Northern
03:21Ireland and Scotland, generally reaching the low 20s. And as we head towards the middle
03:27of the week, we'll see an increasing risk of some thunderstorms moving up from the south.
03:33The humidity increases, hefty downpours. At the moment, England and Wales perhaps seeing
03:38the heaviest of showers developing. It's worth staying up to date with the forecast
03:42as the time gets nearer, as the details are likely to be firmed up. And then by the end
03:48of the week, low pressure looks like it may start to move in from the northwest, gradually
03:52turning things fresher. So if you'd like more information on the weather, where you are
