YSRCP Govt Neglected Kondaveedu Fort Development: ఉమ్మడి గుంటూరు జిల్లాలోని చారిత్రాత ప్రాంతం కొండవీడు కోట. దీనికి ఎంతో ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంది. 2014లో రాష్ట్ర విభజన తర్వాత అప్పటి తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం దీన్ని పర్యాటక ప్రాంతంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఇస్కాన్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 500 కోట్లతో శ్రీకృష్ణ స్వర్ణదేవాలయానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. ఫలితంగా కొండవీడు అంతర్జాతీయ పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా మారుతుందని ఇక్కడి ప్రజలు సంబరపడ్డారు. నాటి ప్రభుత్వం భూములు కేటాయించడం, ఆలయ నిర్మాణ పనులు ప్రారంభించడంతో స్థానికులు సైతం హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అయితే వైసీపీ సర్కారు నుంచి ఎలాంటి సహకారం అందకపోవడంతో కోట్లాది రూపాయల నిర్మాణ పనులు ఎక్కడికక్కడే నిలిచిపోయాయి.
