00:00Every month of August, whether I like it or not, my day is full of joy.

00:11It is my tradition to give gifts to our loved ones in need.

00:16That is why GMA Kapuso Foundation has distributed various medical services

00:21to more than 1,000 residents affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon in Negros Occidental.

00:31Residents of La Castellana, Negros Occidental were alarmed

00:36by the sudden eruption of Vulcan Canlaon in Umponio.

00:41And because of the continuous rain,

00:44the eruption of the volcano affected their livelihood.

00:50Their health was also affected.

00:53Many of us here are suffering from asthma.

00:57After visiting GMA Kapuso Foundation in Barangay Biak na Bato in La Castellana,

01:03five more families are staying at the evacuation center.

01:07And in the light of my day,

01:10I would like to distribute medical services to residents affected by Vulcan Canlaon

01:16under the Kalusugan Caravan Project.

01:20With the help of our partners, volunteers, and sponsors,

01:23we were able to give free medical consultation and laboratory tests to more than 1,000 residents.

01:31There is also breast screening using a high-tech portable device

01:36to detect if a woman has breast cancer.

01:40We have breast cancer.

01:42Because if you detect breast cancer early,

01:46there is a higher chance that you will survive.

01:50And it's very important for the mothers at home,

01:54because you are the light.

01:56So it's important that we detect breast cancer early.

02:01We also gave medicine.

02:03Due to the sulfuric acids,

02:05usually there is a lump, a lump.
