Transcript
00:00After the highest temperature of the year so far recorded yesterday, as well as intense
00:04thunderstorms across parts of the north, Tuesday isn't looking as eventful. It will still be
00:10hot and humid for parts of East Anglia and the south-east of England, with temperatures
00:14there up into the high 20s. But everywhere else, temperatures are a good 10 degrees lower
00:18than they were yesterday, up into the low 20s at best. It will also be wet, with spells
00:22of rain initially across parts of Northern Ireland and Western Britain, spreading eastwards
00:26across much of Scotland, Northern England, Wales, Western England and later the Midlands.
00:31However, before the end of the day, Northern Ireland, the south and east of Scotland and
00:35the far north and west of England and Wales will become somewhat drier. Into Wednesday,
00:40and overall it will be a drier and brighter day, although there will be cloudy skies with
00:44some showery rain at first across eastern parts of England before it brightens up later.
00:48Elsewhere there will be largely dry and bright conditions, but it will be a fresher day overall,
00:52before wet and windy weather returns once again across the north-west of the UK. It
00:57will be unsettled for the rest of the week, and further details can be found at yourweather.co.uk.
