00:00A window of warm and bright conditions this weekend across much of the UK thanks to high
00:05pressure building. Quite a fresh start to the weekend though on Saturday morning, chilly
00:10in some rural spots with some isolated patches of mist and fog and also a few showers around
00:15the blustery north west of Scotland. Otherwise largely fine and dry and little change through
00:20the afternoon, some good spells of sunshine particularly around southern and eastern areas
00:24where it will feel warm. Temperatures around average elsewhere with a few showers carrying
00:29on around the blustery north west of Scotland, otherwise largely dry. Through Saturday night
00:35it will be clear and dry and chilly in some spots with some isolated patches of mist and
00:40fog forming once again by dawn. Also a few showers carrying on across the north west
00:44of Scotland. Sunday sees a repeat performance of Saturday's weather although perhaps a few
00:50more showers likely out towards western areas and for the north west of Scotland where it
00:54remains blustery. Further south and east will be driest, brightest and warmest.
