00:18Amen.
00:19The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit
00:22be with you all.
00:23And with your spirit.
00:24Lord Jesus, you raise us to new life.
00:29Lord, have mercy.
00:30Lord, have mercy.
00:31Lord Jesus, you forgive us our sins.
00:34Christ, have mercy.
00:35Christ, have mercy.
00:36Lord Jesus, you feed us with your body and blood.
00:40Lord, have mercy.
00:41Lord, have mercy.
00:42May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
00:49Amen.
00:51Almighty ever-living God, grant that we may always conform our will to yours, and serve
00:59your majesty in sincerity of heart.
01:01Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
01:05the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
01:08Amen.
01:09First reading.
01:11Ezekiel 18.
01:14The word of the Lord came to me.
01:17Son of man, what is the meaning of this proverb?
01:21That you recite in the land of Israel.
01:24Fathers have eaten green grapes.
01:27Thus their children's teeth are on edge.
01:30As I live, says the Lord God.
01:33I swear that there shall no longer be anyone among you.
01:37Who will repeat this proverb in Israel.
01:40For all lives are mine.
01:43The life of the father is like the life of the son, both are mine.
01:48Only the one whose sins shall die.
01:51If a man is virtuous, if he does what is right and just.
01:56If he does not eat on the mountains.
01:59Nor raise his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel.
02:03If he does not defile his neighbor's wife.
02:06Nor have relations with a woman in her menstrual period.
02:10If he oppresses no one.
02:13Gives back the pledge received for a debt.
02:16Commits no robbery.
02:18If he gives food to the hungry and clothes the naked.
02:22If he does not lend at interest nor exact usury.
02:26If he holds off from evil doing.
02:29Judges fairly between a man and his opponent.
02:33If he lives by my statutes and is careful to observe my ordinances.
02:38That man is virtuous, he shall surely live, says the Lord God.
02:43But if he begets a son who is a thief, a murderer.
02:47Or lends at interest and exacts usury.
02:50This son certainly shall not live.
02:53Because he practiced all these abominations, he shall surely die.
02:58His death shall be his own fault.
03:01Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel.
03:06Each one according to his ways, says the Lord God.
03:10Turn and be converted from all your crimes.
03:13That they may be no cause of guilt for you.
03:16Cast away from you all the crimes you have committed.
03:20And make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit.
03:24Why should you die, O house of Israel?
03:27For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies.
03:31Says the Lord God.
03:34Return and live.
03:36The Word of God.
03:38Thanks be to God.
03:40Responsorial Psalm.
03:43Create a clean heart in me, O God.
03:46Create a clean heart in me, O God.
03:49A clean heart create for me, O God.
03:53And a steadfast spirit renew within me.
03:57Cast me not out from your presence.
04:00And your Holy Spirit take not from me.
04:03Create a clean heart in me, O God.
04:06Give me back the joy of your salvation.
04:09And a willing spirit sustain in me.
04:12I will teach transgressors your ways.
04:15And sinners shall return to you.
04:18Create a clean heart in me, O God.
04:21For you are not pleased with sacrifices.
04:25Should I offer a burnt offering, you would not accept it.
04:30My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit.
04:34A heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.
04:39Create a clean heart in me, O God.
04:42Alleluia, Alleluia.
04:45Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth.
04:49You have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom.
04:53Alleluia, Alleluia.
04:57The Lord be with you.
04:59And with your spirit.
05:01Reading from the Holy Gospel.
05:04According to Matthew.
05:06Glory to you, O Lord.
05:09Children were brought to Jesus,
05:12that he might lay his hands on them and pray.
05:15The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said,
05:19Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them.
05:23For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
05:26After he placed his hands on them, he went away.
05:30The Gospel of the Lord.
05:32Praise you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:39Almighty God, we thank you for this day and all its opportunities.
05:42May we put our trust in God this day and do His will,
05:45live in love, through Christ our Lord.
05:47Amen.
05:53Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
05:55for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
05:58Through the earth and work of human hands,
06:00it will become for us the bread of life.
06:03Blessed be God forever.
06:13Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation,
06:16for through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
06:19Through the vine and work of human hands,
06:21it will become our spiritual drink.
06:24Blessed be God forever.
06:36Pray, my brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours
06:39may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
06:42May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands,
06:45for the praise and glory of His name,
06:48for our good and the good of all His Holy Church.
06:51Grant us, Lord, we pray, a sincere respect for your gifts,
06:55that through the purifying actions of your grace
06:58we may be cleansed by the very mysteries we serve,
07:01through Christ our Lord.
07:03Amen.
07:04The Lord be with you.
07:05And with your spirit.
07:06Lift up your hearts.
07:07We lift them up to the Lord.
07:09Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.
07:11It is right and just.
07:13It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
07:16always and everywhere, to give you thanks,
07:18Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God,
07:20through Christ our Lord.
07:22For He is the true and eternal Priest,
07:24who instituted the pattern of an everlasting sacrifice,
07:27and was the first to offer Himself as a saving victim,
07:30commanding us to make this offering as His memorial.
07:33As we eat His flesh, there was sacrifice for us,
07:36we were made strong.
07:37And as we drink His blood that was poured out for us,
07:39we are washed clean.
07:40And so with angels and archangels,
07:42with thrones and dominions, and with all the hosts
07:45and powers of heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory,
07:48as without end we acclaim.
07:51Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts.
07:55Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:58Hosanna in the highest.
08:00Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:04Hosanna in the highest.
08:07God accord from the Diddy Kings.
08:10As this broken bread was once scattered on the mountains,
08:13and after it being brought together, became one.
08:16So may thy church be gathered together
08:18from the ends of the earth into thy kingdom,
08:20for thine is the glory and the power
08:23through Jesus Christ forever.
08:25And let none eat or drink of the Eucharist,
08:28but such as be baptized in the name of the Lord.
08:31On the Lord's day gather together
08:33break bread and give thanks,
08:35after confessing your transgressions,
08:37so that your sacrifice may be pure.
08:39May no one who has inquired with his neighbor
08:42join you until he is reconciled by the Lord.
08:46In every place and time there shall be offered to me
08:49a clean sacrifice, for I am a great king,
08:52says the Lord.
08:55You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
08:58Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
09:01by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
09:04so that they may become for us
09:06the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:09At the time he was betrayed,
09:11entered willingly into his passion.
09:13He took bread and, giving thanks, broke it,
09:15and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:17Take this, all of you, and eat of it,
09:21for this is my body,
09:23which will be given up for you.
09:32In a similar way, when supper was ended,
09:34he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks,
09:37gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:39Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
09:41for this is the chalice of my blood,
09:43the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
09:46which will be poured out for you and for many
09:49for the forgiveness of sins.
09:51Do this in memory of me.
09:59The Mystery of Faith
10:01We proclaim your death, O Lord,
10:03and profess your resurrection
10:05until I be born again.
10:07Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial
10:09of his death and resurrection,
10:11we offer you, Lord, the bread of life
10:13and the chalice of salvation,
10:15giving thanks that you have held us worthy
10:17to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:19Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body
10:21and blood of Christ, we may be gathered
10:23into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:25Remember, Lord, your Church where I taught the Word,
10:27and bring her to the fullness of charity,
10:29together with Francis, our Pope,
10:31Louis, our Bishop, and all of your people.
10:33Remember also our brothers and sisters
10:35who have fallen asleep in the hope
10:37of the resurrection, and all who have
10:39died in your mercy. Welcome them
10:41into the light of your face.
10:43Have mercy on us all, we pray,
10:45that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:47with blessed Joseph, her spouse,
10:49with the blessed Apostles,
10:51and all the Saints who have pleased you
10:53throughout the ages, we may merit
10:55to be courteous to eternal life,
10:57and may praise and glorify you
10:59through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:01Through him,
11:03and with him, and in him, O God
11:05Almighty Father, in the unity of the
11:07Holy Spirit, all glory and honor
11:09is yours, forever and ever.
11:11Amen.
11:13Amen.
11:15Amen.
11:17Amen.
11:19Amen.
11:21As the
11:23Savior's command and formed by
11:25divine teaching, we dare to pray.
11:27Our Father, who art
11:29in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
11:31Thy kingdom come,
11:33thy will be done,
11:35on earth as it is in heaven.
11:37Give us this day
11:39our daily bread, and
11:41forgive us our trespasses,
11:43as we forgive those
11:45who trespass against us.
11:47And lead us not into
11:49temptation, but deliver
11:51us from evil. Deliver us,
11:53Lord, we pray, from every evil. Graciously
11:55grant peace in our days, that
11:57by the help of your mercy,
11:59we may be always free from sin and
12:01safe from all distress, as we await
12:03the blessed hope and the coming
12:05of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
12:07For the kingdom, the power, and
12:09the glory are yours, now and
12:11forever. Lord Jesus Christ, you said
12:13to your apostles, peace I leave you,
12:15my peace I give you. Look not on
12:17our sins, but on the faith of your Church,
12:19and graciously grant her peace
12:21and unity, in accordance with
12:23your will, who live and reign forever
12:25and ever. Amen.
12:27May the peace of the Lord be with you always.
12:29And with your spirit.
12:31Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:37Lamb of God,
12:39you take away the sins of the world,
12:41have mercy on us.
12:43Lamb of God, you take
12:45away the sins of the world,
12:47have mercy on us.
12:49Lamb of God, you take away
12:51the sins of the world,
12:53grant us peace.
12:57Behold the Lamb of God,
12:59behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
13:01Blessed are those called
13:03to the supper of the Lamb.
13:05Lord, I am not worthy that you
13:07should enter under my roof,
13:09but come and say the word,
13:11and my soul shall be healed.
13:13May the body and blood of Christ our
13:15keeper save for eternity. Amen.
13:17My Jesus, I
13:19believe that you are present in the most
13:21blessed sacrament. I love you
13:23above all things, and I desire to
13:25receive you into my soul.
13:27Since I cannot now receive you
13:29sacramentally, come at least
13:31spiritually into my heart.
13:33I embrace you as if you were already
13:35there, and unite myself
13:37wholly to you. Never
13:39permit me to be separated from you.
13:41Amen.
13:43Let us
13:45pray. Grant the
13:47Lord, we pray, that
13:49benefiting from participation
13:51in heavenly things, we may
13:53be helped by what you give us in this
13:55present age, and prepared
13:57for the gifts that are eternal.
13:59Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
14:01The Lord be with you. And with your spirit.
14:03And may Almighty God bless you.
14:05The Father, the Son,
14:07and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
14:09Mass has ended. Go in peace.
14:11To love and serve the Lord.
14:13Thanks be to God.
