00:00make agriculture sexy again. How? How? We have to encourage the young people to go into it.
00:10We lure them by EO75. Government on lands.
00:17Number 1, retired PNP and AFP personnel. Number 2, rebel returnees. Number 3, to answer your question, graduates of 4-year agricultural courses.
00:37How many hectares are you going to give? 3 hectares maximum per person. That's a big thing. And it's still too early because we're going to do the MARCOS.
00:53Sir, for example, I am a graduate of a green forest. How am I going to avail that 3 hectares?
01:23We're not going to give it to those who can use it. If they want, their students can also graduate. But there's an agreement already. The Pangasinan State U and the Northern Mindanao State U have agreed.
01:42When will that happen, sir? This administration of our beloved President, the so-called MARCOS. What is MARCOS? Modern Agrarian Reform Community Organized Settlements.
01:57Sir, as of today, how many agri-graduates have been given land?
02:03There's a lot already. I don't have the data yet. But there's a lot already because we have a lot of local owned by LGUs. They were given, but the ones who were given are also rebel returnees.
02:26But the other rebel returnees, at the same time, they graduated from a 4-year agricultural course. That's why the two qualifications were added.
