00:08of its Trinity Kitchen concept. Should the application be successful, it will be Trinity's
00:12biggest investment into the centre since it opened in 2013. The plans include the construction
00:18of a new terrace offering views overlooking City Square. More jobs will be created as
00:24a result of the investment, with more brands being brought into the centre.
00:29Trinity Kitchen's transformation of the idea of traditional food courts has seen an ever-evolving
00:34rotation of street food vans and permanent eateries. Almost 300 independent traders have
00:40showcased their food to an audience of 800,000 people each year since it launched.
00:46The proposed plans for the Trinity Kitchen development are set to be reviewed by Leeds
00:50City Council, with a decision expected later this year. If approved, works are expected
00:55to start in Spring 2025.
