00:00The word Quddus comes from the letters Qaf, Daal, Zin and it has two main meanings.
00:08One is absolutely pure and the second is free from impurity and imperfections.
00:15With these three letters we can make words such as Bayt al Muqaddas which means the purified
00:23house in where people purify themselves from filth and sins.
00:27According to some scholars, the angel Gabriel is also called Ruh al Quddus, the pure spirit.
00:36That's because he is far away from any fault and is pure in delivering the message from
00:41Allah to the prophets.
00:43The Holy Quran says, وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِالرُّوحِ
00:49الْقُدْسِ And we supported him with the pure spirit.
00:53Allah is al Quddus, he is absolutely pure and has no imperfections.
01:00He has no error or fault.
01:03He is the most perfect.
01:05He has complete and perfect sight.
01:08He has complete and perfect hearing, knowledge, strength, mercy and etc.
01:14So this means Allah does not die, doesn't have any partner, doesn't do any wrong, doesn't
01:21lie, doesn't forget and so on.
01:25He is perfect, pure and has no faults.
01:29He is the one that purifies the people when they do wrong.
01:33So if Allah is al Quddus, the one that has no imperfections and is absolutely pure, how
01:41should our hearts be, dirty or pure?
01:45We should learn how to purify our thoughts, purify our tongues, don't lie and don't use
01:52bad language.
01:54Remember Allah is al Quddus, he is absolutely pure and has no imperfections.
