00:00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:00:07Alif Lam Mim
00:00:15This is the Book, in which there is no doubt, a guidance for the righteous,
00:00:21those who believe in the unseen, and establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,
00:00:32and those who believe in what has been revealed to you, and what was revealed before you, and are certain of the Hereafter.
00:00:45Those are on guidance from their Lord, and it is they who will be successful.
00:00:55Indeed, those who disbelieve, it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.
00:01:07Allah has sealed over their hearts, and over their ears, and over their eyes, a veil, and for them is a great punishment.
00:01:19And of the people are those who say, We believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they are not believers.
00:01:30They deceive Allah and those who believe, and they deceive not except themselves and what they perceive.
00:01:42In their hearts is a disease, so Allah has increased them in disease, and for them is a painful punishment because they used to lie.
00:01:54And when it is said to them, Do not do corruption in the land, they say, We are only reformers.
00:02:03Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive not.
00:02:11And when it is said to them, Believe as the people have believed, they say, Shall we believe as the fools have believed?
00:02:26Unquestionably, it is they who are the fools, but they perceive not.
00:02:35And when they meet those who believe, they say, We believe.
00:02:41And when they pass to their devils, they say, We are with you, we are only mocking.
00:02:53Allah mocks them and extends them in their transgression, blindly.
00:03:01Those are the ones who have bought error with guidance, so their trade has not profited, nor have they been guided.
00:03:12Their likeness is like the likeness of one who has lit a fire, and when it illuminates what is around him, Allah takes away their light and leaves them in darknesses which they do not see.
00:03:30Deaf, dumb, blind, so they will not return.
00:03:37Or like a thunderbolt from the sky, in which are darknesses and thunderbolts and lightning.
00:03:46They put their fingers in their ears of thunderbolts, fearing death.
00:03:55And Allah encompasses the disbelievers.
00:03:59Lightning is about to seize their eyes whenever it illuminates them.
00:04:09They walk in it, and when it oppresses them, they stand.
00:04:15And if Allah had willed, He would have taken away their hearing and their sight.
00:04:23Indeed, Allah is Able to do all things.
00:04:29O mankind, worship your Lord Who created you and those before you, that you may be righteous.
00:04:41Who made for you the earth a bed, and the sky a building, and sent down water from the sky, and brought forth therewith fruits as provision for you.
00:04:58So set not up for Allah equals while you know.
00:05:05And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down to Our servant, then bring forth a surah like it, and call upon your witnesses besides Allah, if you are truthful.
00:05:28And if you do not do, and you will not do, then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.
00:05:41And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds, that for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow, every time they are provided with the fruit of provision.
00:06:01And they will say, This is what we were provided with before, and they will be given thereof in equal proportion.
00:06:09And they will have therein pure spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.
00:06:17Verily, Allah is not ashamed to present an example of what is a mosquito and what is above it.
00:06:27But as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord.
00:06:34And as for those who disbelieve, they say, What does Allah intend by this example?
00:06:43He misleads with it many, and guides with it many. And none misleads with it except the defiantly disobedient.
00:06:53Those who break the covenant of Allah after His covenant, and cut off that which Allah has ordered to be joined, and spread corruption in the land.
00:07:07It is they who are the losers.
00:07:12How can you disbelieve in Allah while you are dead?
00:07:17Then He gives you life, then He causes you to die, then He gives you life, then to Him you will be returned.
00:07:28He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth, then He turned to the heaven and proportioned them into seven heavens. And He is Knowing of all things.
00:07:50And when your Lord said to the angels, Verily, I have placed in the earth a successor.
00:07:58They said, Do you place therein one who causes corruption therein and spills the blood?
00:08:06And We glorify your praise and sanctify you. He said, Verily, I know that which you know not.
00:08:16And He taught Adam all the names, then He presented them to the angels and said, Tell Me the names of these, if you are truthful.
00:08:38They said, Exalted are You! We have no knowledge except that which You have taught us. Verily, You are the Knowing, the Wise.
00:08:49He said, O Adam, tell them their names. And when he had told them their names, he said, Did I not say to you, Verily, I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you conceal?
00:09:16And when We said to the angels, Bow down before Adam, they bowed except Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and was of the disbelievers.
00:09:32And We said, O Adam, dwell thou and thy wife in Paradise, and eat thereof as you please, and approach not this tree, lest you be of the wrongdoers.
00:09:48But Satan made them leave it, and brought them out of what they were in. And We said, Go down, some of you, to one another, as enemies. And for you in the earth is a dwelling place and provision for a time.
00:10:06So Adam received words from his Lord, and repented to Him. Verily, He is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful. We said, Go down from there, all of you, lest guidance should come to you from Me. And whosoever follows My guidance, there shall be no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
00:10:32And those who disbelieve and deny Our Signs, they are the dwellers of the Fire, and therein shall they abide.
00:10:43O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill My covenant, and I will fulfill your covenant, and fear Me.
00:10:57And believe in what I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it, and buy not My Signs at a small price, but fear Me.
00:11:15And wear not the truth in falsehood, and conceal the truth while you know.
00:11:23And establish prayer, and give zakah, and bow down with those who bow down.
00:11:31Do you command mankind to be righteous, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand?
00:11:43And seek help through patience and prayer, and it is indeed great, except for the humble,
00:11:52Who think that they will meet their Lord, and that to Him they will return.
00:12:01O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and I have favored you over the worlds.
00:12:13And fear a Day when no soul will avail another soul at all, and no intercession will be accepted from it, nor will justice be taken from it, nor will they be helped.
00:12:30And when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, they fasted against you a terrible punishment, slaughtering your sons, and making your women to live. And in that was a great affliction from your Lord.
00:12:53And when We parted the sea for you, and saved you, and drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking.
00:13:04And when We promised Moses forty nights, then you took the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.
00:13:16Then We pardoned you after that, that you might be grateful.
00:13:24And when We gave Moses the Book and the criterion, that you might be guided.
00:13:31And when Moses said to his people, O my people, you have wronged yourselves by taking the calf, so repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is better for you with your Creator, so He has repented to you. Indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.
00:13:58And when you said, O Moses, we will not believe you until we see Allah openly. So the thunderbolt overtook you while you were looking.
00:14:10Then We resurrected you after your death, that you might be grateful.
00:14:17And We sent down to you the cloud, and We sent down to you the rain and the flood. Eat of the good things which We have provided for you, and of what they wronged Us, but they wronged themselves.
00:14:34And when We said, Enter this town, and eat thereof as much as you will, and enter the gate prostrating yourselves, and say, We will forgive you your sins, and We will increase the doers of good.
00:14:53But those who wronged changed it to a saying other than that which had been said to them. So We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the heaven because they were disobedient.
00:15:08And when Moses asked for water for his people, We said, Strike with your staff the stone, and twelve springs burst forth from it. Every people knew what they drank. Eat and drink of the provision of Allah, and do not transgress in the land, you corrupters.
00:15:29And when you said, O Moses, we will not be patient with one food, so call upon your Lord for us that He may bring forth for us of that which the earth produces from its cow, and its cattle, and its fowl, and its lambs, and its onions.
00:15:53He said, Will you exchange that which is nearer to us for that which is better?
00:15:58Go down to Egypt, for indeed, for you is that which you have asked. And humiliation and poverty have been cast upon them, and they have incurred the wrath of Allah. That is because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and were transgressing.
00:16:26Indeed, those who believe, and those who are Jews and Christians and Sabians, those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous deeds, for them is their reward with their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve.
00:16:49And when We took your covenant, and raised high above you the Mount, saying, Take that which We have given you with strength, and remember what is in it, that you may be righteous.
00:17:03Then you turned away after that. So had it not been for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy, you would have been of the losers.
00:17:15And indeed you have known those who transgressed among you concerning the Sabbath. So We said to them, Be apes, despised.
00:17:25So We made it an example for those before them and those after them and an admonition for the righteous.
00:17:33And when Moses said to his people, Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow. They said, Are you making fun of us? He said, I seek refuge in Allah from being of the ignorant.
00:17:50They said, Call upon your Lord for us that He may make clear to us what it is. He said, Indeed, He says, It is a cow, neither old nor young, between that age and that age. So do what you are commanded.
00:18:09They said, Call upon your Lord for us that He may make clear to us what its color is. He said, Indeed, He says, It is a yellow cow. Its color is bright, pleasing to the seer.
00:18:29They said, Call upon your Lord for us that He may make clear to us what it is. Indeed, the cow is like unto us, and indeed, if Allah wills, we will be guided.
00:18:43He said, Indeed, He says, It is a cow, neither old nor young, grazing the earth, nor watering the field. It is straight, and there is no filth in it. They said, Now you have come with the truth, so slaughter it. But they were about to do it.
00:19:01And when you killed a person, you disputed over it. And Allah will bring out that which you used to hide.
00:19:11So We said, Strike him with some of it. Thus does Allah bring the dead to life and show you His signs, that you may understand.
00:19:22Then your hearts became hard after that, because they are like stones, or harder in hardness. And indeed, of the stones is that from which rivers burst forth.
00:19:36And indeed, of it is that which splits open and from it comes forth water. And indeed, of it is that which descends out of fear of Allah.
00:19:48And Allah is not unmindful of what you do.
00:19:53Do you then hope that they will believe you, when there is indeed a party of them who hear the Word of Allah,
00:20:04then distort it after they have understood it, while they know?
00:20:14When they meet those who believe, they say, We believe. And when some of them leave to others, they say,
00:20:24Do you speak to them about what Allah has revealed to you, that they may argue with you about it with your Lord? Do you not then understand?
00:20:38Do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare?
00:20:47And among them are some who are unlettered. They know not the Scripture except in their dreams, and they are only guessing.
00:20:57So woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands, then say,
00:21:03This is from Allah, that they may buy with it a small price.
00:21:11So woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn.
00:21:21And they say, The Fire will not touch us except for a limited number of days.
00:21:28Say, Have you taken a covenant with Allah that Allah will not break His covenant?
00:21:35Or do you say about Allah that which you know not?
00:21:40Nay, but whosoever earns evil and his sin envelops him, then those are the companions of the Fire.
00:21:50They will abide therein.
00:21:53And those who believe and do righteous deeds, those are the companions of Paradise.
00:22:00They will abide therein.
00:22:03And when We took the covenant of the Children of Israel,
00:22:08You worship none but Allah, and to parents do good,
00:22:13and to relatives, and to orphans, and to the needy, and say to the people,
00:22:19Do good, and observe prayer, and give zakah.
00:22:24Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you turned away.
00:22:32And when We took your covenant,
00:22:35you did not shed your blood, nor did you drive yourselves out of your homes.
00:22:43Then you decided, while you were witnessing.
00:22:48Then you, these, killed yourselves, and drove out a party of you from their homes,
00:22:59so that you may protest against them with sin and aggression.
00:23:04And if families come to you, you drive them away,
00:23:08and it is forbidden for you to drive them out.
00:23:12Do you then believe in some of the Scripture and disbelieve in others?
00:23:18Then the recompense of one who does that among you is nothing but disgrace in the life of this world.
00:23:27On the Day of Resurrection they will be returned to the severest punishment,
00:23:33and Allah is not unaware of what you do.
00:23:38Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world for the Hereafter,
00:23:44so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be helped.
00:23:52And indeed We gave Moses the Scripture,
00:23:55and after him We sent down the Messengers.
00:23:59And We gave Jesus, son of Mary, the clear proofs,
00:24:03and We strengthened him with the Holy Spirit.
00:24:06Is it then that every time a Messenger comes to you,
00:24:10because of that which your souls desire not, you become arrogant,
00:24:15and you deny a party, and you kill a party?
00:24:23And they say, Our hearts are sealed.
00:24:26Nay, Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so little do they believe.
00:24:32And when a Book comes to them from Allah, confirming that which is with them,
00:24:40and before that they used to ask permission from those who disbelieved,
00:24:46but when that which they knew came to them, they disbelieved in it.
00:24:51So the curse of Allah is upon the disbelievers.
00:24:55Evil is that which they have bought for themselves,
00:24:58that they disbelieve in that which Allah has sent down unwillingly,
00:25:08that Allah should send down of His bounty upon whom He wills of His servants.
00:25:15So they remain in anger upon anger.
00:25:19And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.
00:25:24And when it is said to them, Believe in that which Allah has sent down,
00:25:29they say, We believe in that which has been sent down upon us,
00:25:33and they disbelieve in that which is behind it.
00:25:36And it is the truth confirming that which is with them.
00:25:40Say, Then why did you kill the Prophets of Allah before, if you were believers?
00:25:51And indeed, Moses came to you with clear proofs.
00:25:55Then you took the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.
00:26:02And when We took your covenant and raised above you the Mount,
00:26:07they said, Take what We have given you with strength and listen.
00:26:12They said, We heard and disobeyed, and the calf was drunk in their hearts because of their disbelief.
00:26:19Say, Evil is that by which your faith enjoins you, if you are believers.
00:26:28Say, If the abode of the Hereafter is for you in the sight of Allah,
00:26:33exclusively, apart from the people,
00:26:37then wish for death, if you should be truthful.
00:26:46And they will never wish for it, because of that which their hands have sent forth.
00:26:52And Allah is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
00:26:56And you will surely find that they are the most eager of men for life,
00:27:01and of those who associate others with Allah.
00:27:03One of them would like, if he were to live a thousand years,
00:27:08and he would not be able to remove him from the punishment, to live.
00:27:13And Allah is All-Seeing of what they do.
00:27:17Say, Whosoever is an enemy to Gabriel,
00:27:20then verily, He has sent him down upon your heart, by permission of Allah,
00:27:24confirming that which is before him, and a guidance and good tidings for the believers.
00:27:32Whosoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers
00:27:38and Gabriel and Michael,
00:27:43then verily, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.
00:27:49And indeed We have sent down to you clear Signs,
00:27:55and none disbelieve therein except the defiantly disobedient.
00:28:00And every time they make a covenant, a party of them breaks it.
00:28:06Nay, but most of them do not believe.
00:28:09And when a Messenger came to them from Allah, confirming that which is with them,
00:28:17a party of those who were given the Book,
00:28:21threw the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if they knew not.
00:28:28And they followed that which the devils recite concerning the dominion of Solomon.
00:28:34Solomon did not disbelieve, but the devils disbelieved.
00:28:39They teach people magic.
00:28:42And it was not sent down to the angels through Babel, Harut and Marut.
00:28:50And they teach not one of them until they say,
00:28:55We are only a trial, so disbelieve not.
00:29:00And they learn from them that which they separate between a man and his wife.
00:29:07And they do not harm anyone with it except by permission of Allah.
00:29:16And they learn what harms them and does not benefit them.
00:29:21And they know that whoever buys them, he will have in the Hereafter no creation.
00:29:28And evil indeed is that with which they have sold their souls, if they but knew.
00:29:35And if they but believed and feared Allah,
00:29:39a reward from Allah would be better, if they but knew.
00:29:45O you who believe! Say not, Our Master,
00:29:51but say, Look at us and listen.
00:29:54And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.
00:29:58Those who disbelieve do not wish from among the People of the Book or the polytheists
00:30:04that any good be sent down to you from your Lord.
00:30:11And Allah selects for His Mercy whom He wills.
00:30:18And Allah is the Possessor of Great Bounty.
00:30:23We do not corrupt a sign or forget it.
00:30:27We bring forth good from it or the like thereof.
00:30:31Knowest thou not that Allah has power over all things?
00:30:37Knowest thou not that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth?
00:30:43And you have not besides Allah any protector or helper.
00:30:49Or do you wish to ask your Messenger as Musa was asked before?
00:30:56And he who exchanges disbelief for faith has indeed strayed from the right path.
00:31:03Many of the People of the Book would have loved if they had brought you back after your belief
00:31:11as disbelievers, envious of themselves after the truth had become clear to them.
00:31:21So pardon and forgive until Allah comes with His command.
00:31:26Indeed, Allah is Powerful over all things.
00:31:30And establish prayer and give zakah and whatever good you give to yourselves,
00:31:38you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of what you do.
00:31:45And they say, none will enter Paradise except he who is a Jew or a Christian.
00:31:52These are their wishes. Say, bring your proof, if you are truthful.
00:32:00Yes, whoever submits his face to Allah and is a doer of good,
00:32:05he will have his reward with his Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
00:32:14And the Jews say, the Christians are not at all, while they recite the Book.
00:32:28Similarly, those who do not know say the like of what they say.
00:32:33So Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ.
00:32:42And who is more unjust than he who prevents the mosques of Allah from being mentioned therein
00:32:49and strives to destroy it? Those, it is not for them to enter it except in fear.
00:33:00For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
00:33:06And to Allah belongs the East and the West. So wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah.
00:33:13Indeed, Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
00:33:17And they say, Allah has taken a son. Exalted is He! Nay, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth.
00:33:25All are obedient to Him.
00:33:28Originator of the heavens and the earth. And when He decrees a matter, He only says to it,
00:33:36Be, and it is.
00:33:39And those who do not know say, Why does Allah not speak to us, or a sign comes to us?
00:33:47Similarly, those before them said the like of what they say. Their hearts are alike.
00:33:55We have made clear the signs for a people who are certain.
00:34:01Verily, We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.
00:34:07And you will not be asked about the companions of Hell.
00:34:11And the Jews and the Christians will not be pleased with you until you follow their religion.
00:34:19Say, Verily, the guidance of Allah is the guidance.
00:34:22And if you follow their desires after that which has come to you of knowledge,
00:34:29you will have from Allah no protector or helper.
00:34:35Those to whom We have given the Scripture recite it as it should be recited,
00:34:41it is they who believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it, it is they who are the losers.
00:34:51O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you,
00:34:58and that I have favored you over the worlds.
00:35:03And fear a Day when no soul will avail another soul at all,
00:35:09nor will justice be accepted from it, nor will intercession benefit it,
00:35:15nor will they be helped.
00:35:19And when Abraham tried his Lord with words, and He perfected them,
00:35:29He said, Verily, I have made you for the people an example.
00:35:34He said, And of my progeny?
00:35:37He said, No one will attain the covenant of the wrongdoers.
00:35:41And when We made the House a resting place for the people and secure,
00:35:47and they took from the station of Abraham a place of prayer,
00:35:53and We made a covenant with Abraham and Ishmael that they would purify My House
00:36:04for those who go about, and those who remain, and those who bow down and prostrate.
00:36:11And when Abraham said, My Lord, make this a secure city,
00:36:17and provide its people with fruits, those of them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.
00:36:28He said, And as for him who disbelieves, I will give him a little enjoyment,
00:36:33then I will cause him to suffer the punishment of the Fire.
00:36:39And wretched is the destination.
00:36:42When Abraham raised the foundations of the House, and Ishmael,
00:36:48Our Lord, accept from us.
00:36:51Verily, You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
00:36:55Our Lord, and make us Muslims for You,
00:36:59and of our progeny a nation Muslim to You.
00:37:05And show us our rites, and forgive us.
00:37:09Verily, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
00:37:14Our Lord, and raise in them a Messenger from among themselves,
00:37:18who will recite to them Your verses,
00:37:21and teach them the Book and wisdom,
00:37:26and purify them.
00:37:28Verily, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
00:37:33And who would desire from the religion of Abraham except one whose soul is foolish?
00:37:40And We have chosen him in this world,
00:37:43and indeed in the Hereafter he will be of the righteous.
00:37:49When his Lord said to him, Submit.
00:37:53He said, I have submitted to the Lord of the worlds.
00:37:58And Abraham enjoined upon his sons and Jacob,
00:38:03O my sons! Verily, Allah has chosen for you the religion,
00:38:12so die not except when you have submitted.
00:38:19Or were you witnesses when Jacob the Dead came,
00:38:25when he said to his sons, What will you worship after me?
00:38:30They said, We will worship your God and the God of your fathers,
00:38:35Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, one God.
00:38:41And we are to Him submissive.
00:38:44That is a nation for which has passed away what it earned,
00:38:49and for you what you have earned.
00:38:53And you will not be questioned about what they used to do.
00:39:00And they said, Be you Jews or Christians, you will be guided.
00:39:05Say, Nay, but the religion of Abraham is deviated, and he was not of the polytheists.
00:39:12Say, We believe in Allah, and what has been revealed to us,
00:39:18and what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the ancestors,
00:39:29and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord,
00:39:38We make no distinction between any of them, and we are to Him submissive.
00:39:48But if they believe in the like of what you have believed in, then they have been guided.
00:39:55And if they turn away, then they are only in division.
00:40:00So Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
00:40:05The color of Allah, and who is better than Allah in color, and we are His servants.
00:40:14Say, Do you argue with us about Allah, while He is our Lord and your Lord,
00:40:21and we have our deeds and you have your deeds, and we are sincere to Him?
00:40:29Or do you say, Indeed, Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the ancestors
00:40:37were Jews or Christians? Say, Do you know or is it Allah?
00:40:44And who is more unjust than he who secures a testimony with him from Allah?
00:40:53And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
00:40:58That is a nation that has passed away. To it is what it earned, and to you is what you earned.
00:41:07And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
00:41:14The foolish among the people will say,
00:41:18What has turned them away from their Qibla which they were on?
00:41:24Indeed, to Allah belongs the East and the West. He guides whom He wills to a straight path.
00:41:34And thus have We made you a mediating nation, that you may be witnesses over the people,
00:41:42and the Messenger be a witness over you.
00:41:46And We did not make the Qibla which you were on except that We might know who would follow the Messenger
00:41:55from whom he would turn on his heels. And it was not great except against those whom Allah had guided.
00:42:05And Allah would not let your faith be lost. Indeed, Allah is to the people kind and merciful.
00:42:15Indeed, We see the turning of your face in the sky, so We will surely turn you to a Qibla that you will see.
00:42:24So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque and wherever you are, and turn your faces toward it.
00:42:33And indeed, those who have been given the Scripture know that it is the truth from their Lord.
00:42:41And Allah is not unmindful of what they do.
00:42:46And if you should come to those who have been given the Scripture with every sign,
00:42:51they will not follow your Qibla, and you will not follow their Qibla,
00:42:58and some of them will not follow each other's Qibla.
00:43:03And if you should follow their desires after knowledge has come to you,
00:43:10indeed, you will be of the wrongdoers.
00:43:14Those to whom We have given the Scripture know it as they know their children.
00:43:23And indeed, a group of them conceal the truth while they know.
00:43:29The truth is from your Lord, so be not of the doubters.
00:43:35And for everyone there is a direction which he will take, so race for the good things.
00:43:41Wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together.
00:43:46Indeed, Allah is Able to do all things.
00:43:51And wherever you go, turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque,
00:43:56and wherever you are, turn your faces toward it,
00:44:00that there may not be for the people against you any argument,
00:44:04except those who have wronged among themselves.
00:44:07So fear them not, but fear Me,
00:44:10and that I may perfect My favor upon you,
00:44:13and that you may be of the righteous.
00:44:16And if you should come to those who have been given the Scripture with every sign,
00:44:22So fear them not, but fear Me,
00:44:25and that I may perfect My favor upon you,
00:44:28and that you may be of the righteous.
00:44:31As We have sent among you a Messenger from among you,
00:44:36who recites to you Our verses and purifies you,
00:44:42and teaches you the Scripture and wisdom,
00:44:45and teaches you that which you did not know.
00:44:50Remember Me, and I will remember you.
00:44:53And be grateful to Me, and disbelieve not.
00:44:58O you who have believed!
00:45:02Seek help through patience and prayer.
00:45:05Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
00:45:09And say not to those who are slain in the cause of Allah,
00:45:15Nay, they are alive, but you perceive not.
00:45:21And We will surely test you with a thing of fear and hunger
00:45:26and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits.
00:45:33And give good tidings to the patient.
00:45:36Those who, when a calamity befalls them, say,
00:45:43Verily, we belong to Allah, and to Him we will return.
00:45:51It is they upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy.
00:45:57And it is they who are the guided.
00:46:01Verily, the righteous and the unrighteous are among the signs of Allah.
00:46:07So whosoever makes Hajj to the House or performs Umrah,
00:46:10there is no blame upon him that he should go around them.
00:46:14And whosoever volunteers for good,
00:46:17verily, Allah is Appreciating and Knowing.
00:46:21Verily, those who hide what We have revealed of clear proofs and guidance
00:46:29after We have made it clear to the people in the Scripture,
00:46:40it is they whom Allah curses, and they are the ones who curse.
00:46:48Except those who repent and amend and make clear.
00:46:52Those who repent and amend and make clear.
00:46:58Verily, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers,
00:47:03it is they upon whom is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people all together.
00:47:14They will abide therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite.
00:47:22And your God is One God. There is no god but He, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful.
00:47:30Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth,
00:47:34and the alternation of the night and the day,
00:47:37and the ships that sail in the sea for the benefit of the people,
00:47:46and what Allah sends down from the sky of water,
00:47:53He gives life thereby to the earth after its death,
00:47:56and He distributes therein from every creature,
00:48:03and the turning of the winds and the clouds subdued between the heaven and the earth
00:48:13are signs for a people who understand.
00:48:18And of the people are those who take besides Allah equals whom they love as Allah loves.
00:48:29And those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.
00:48:34And if only those who did wrong could see when they see the punishment,
00:48:38that all power is for Allah, and that Allah is severe in punishment.
00:48:45When those who were followed disown those who followed,
00:48:50and they saw the punishment, and all means were cut off for them.
00:48:55And those who followed said,
00:48:57If only we had another chance, we would disown them as they disowned us.
00:49:05Thus does Allah show them their deeds.
00:49:09They will have no regret for them, and they will not come out of the Fire.
00:49:19O mankind, eat of what is lawful and good in the earth,
00:49:26and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
00:49:34He only commands you to do evil and immorality and to say about Allah that which you do not know.
00:49:45And when it is said to them, Follow what Allah has revealed, they say,
00:49:51But we follow what we were given by our fathers.
00:49:58Even if their fathers did not understand a thing, nor would they be guided?
00:50:06And the example of those who disbelieve is like the example of one who whispers what he hears not
00:50:12except a supplication and a call. Deaf, dumb, blind, they do not understand.
00:50:22O you who believe! Eat of the good things which We have provided for you,
00:50:29and be grateful to Allah, if it is He whom you worship.
00:50:36Verily, what is forbidden to you is the dead, and the blood, and the flesh of the swine,
00:50:42and that which has been made lawful for other than Allah.
00:50:46So whoever does harm, whether he is a transgressor or a transgressor,
00:50:50there is no sin against him. Verily, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:50:56Verily, those who conceal what Allah has revealed of the Scripture
00:51:03and buy therewith a small price,
00:51:06they will not eat in their bellies except the Fire.
00:51:13And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection,
00:51:17nor will He purify them. And for them is a painful punishment.
00:51:22Those are the ones who have bought error with guidance,
00:51:27and punishment with forgiveness. So what made them patient in the Fire?
00:51:33That is because Allah has sent down the Scripture in truth.
00:51:38And verily, those who differ in the Scripture are in a great distance.
00:51:45It is not righteousness that you turn your faces toward the East and the West,
00:51:52but righteousness is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day,
00:52:04and the angels, and the Scripture, and the prophets,
00:52:09and gives wealth for the love of those who are near,
00:52:17and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer,
00:52:21and those who ask, and those who are in duty,
00:52:30and establish prayer, and give zakah,
00:52:33and fulfill their covenant when they have made a covenant,
00:52:38and are patient in hardship and adversity and the time of hardship.
00:52:47Those are the ones who are truthful, and it is they who are the righteous.
00:52:57O you who have believed!
00:53:01It has been decreed for you to kill.
00:53:05The free will kill the free, and the slave will kill the slave,
00:53:08and the female will kill the female.
00:53:11So whosoever is spared from his brother a thing,
00:53:15then follow the righteous, and treat him well.
00:53:21That is a lightening from your Lord and a mercy.
00:53:26But whosoever transgresses after that, then for him is a painful punishment.
00:53:31And for you in justice is a life, O people of understanding,
00:53:36that you may fear Allah.
00:53:39It has been decreed for you that when death comes to one of you,
00:53:43if he leaves good, it is a commandment for the parents and the relatives,
00:53:48with good, as a right upon the righteous.
00:53:53So whosoever changes it after he has heard it,
00:53:56then his sin is only against those who change it.
00:54:01Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
00:54:05So whosoever fears from Moses a transgression or a sin,
00:54:09and makes peace between them, then there is no sin against him.
00:54:14Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:54:18O you who have believed!
00:54:21Fasting has been decreed for you, as it was decreed for those before you,
00:54:26that you may fear Allah.
00:54:29A few days.
00:54:32And whosoever of you is ill or is on a journey,
00:54:38then a number of other days.
00:54:41And for those who obey him is ransom and food for the poor.
00:54:48So whosoever volunteers good, it is good for him.
00:54:53And that you fast is better for you, if you only knew.
00:54:59The month of Ramadan, in which the Qur'an has been revealed,
00:55:04is a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and distinction.
00:55:10So whosoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast.
00:55:14And whosoever of you is ill or is on a journey,
00:55:18then a number of other days.
00:55:22Allah intends ease for you, and He does not intend hardship for you,
00:55:27and that you may complete the number,
00:55:32and that you may glorify Allah for what He has guided you,
00:55:35and that you may be grateful.
00:55:38And when My servants ask you about Me, I am near.
00:55:50I respond to the supplication of the supplicant when he supplicates Me,
00:55:53so let them respond to Me and believe in Me,
00:55:59that they may be guided.
00:56:02And the night of fasting has been made lawful for you,
00:56:05and you have turned to your wives.
00:56:08They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them.
00:56:14Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves,
00:56:19so He has forgiven you and pardoned you.
00:56:23So now give them good tidings and seek what Allah has written for you.
00:56:29And eat and drink until the white cloth becomes clear to you,
00:56:34from the black cloth of Fajr.
00:56:37Then complete fasting till the night,
00:56:41and give them no good tidings while you are standing in the mosques.
00:56:47These are the limits of Allah, so approach not them.
00:56:51Thus does Allah make His Signs clear to the people,
00:56:56that they may fear Him.
00:57:01And eat not your wealth among yourselves in falsehood,
00:57:06and bring it to the rulers,
00:57:10that you may eat a part of the wealth of the people in sin,
00:57:16while you know.
00:57:19They ask you about the Ahlul-Ahzab.
00:57:22Say, they are the sites for the people and the Hajj.
00:57:25And it is not righteousness that you come to the houses from their backs,
00:57:30but righteousness is he who fears Allah,
00:57:33and come to the houses from their doors,
00:57:36and fear Allah that you may succeed.
00:57:40And fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you,
00:57:45and do not transgress.
00:57:47Verily, Allah loves not the transgressors.
00:57:51And kill them where you have found them,
00:57:54and drive them out from where they have driven you out.
00:57:58And transgression is worse than killing.
00:58:01And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque,
00:58:05until they fight you therein.
00:58:08But if they fight you, then kill them.
00:58:11Thus is the recompense of the disbelievers.
00:58:15But if they desist, then verily, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
00:58:20And fight them until there is no trial,
00:58:24and the religion is for Allah.
00:58:27But if they desist, then there is no aggression except against the wrongdoers.
00:58:32The Sacred Month is the month of the Sacred,
00:58:35and the sacred things are stories.
00:58:38So whosoever transgresses against you,
00:58:40transgress against him as he transgressed against you.
00:58:44And fear Allah, and know that Allah is with the righteous.
00:58:50And spend in the way of Allah,
00:58:53and cast not your hands into destruction.
00:58:57And do good. Verily, Allah loves the doers of good.
00:59:02And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah.
00:59:06But if you are gathered together, then it is not easy to give guidance.
00:59:10And do not bow your heads until the guidance reaches its place.
00:59:16So whosoever among you is ill or has a headache,
00:59:22then it is a ransom from fasting, or charity, or almsgiving.
00:59:28But when you are secure, then whosoever enjoys the Umrah to the Hajj,
00:59:34then it is not easy to give guidance.
00:59:37So whosoever does not find, then fasting three days in the Hajj,
00:59:42and seven when you return.
00:59:45These are a total of ten.
00:59:49That is for him whose family is not present at the Sacred Mosque.
00:59:55And fear Allah, and know that Allah is severe in punishment.
01:00:01The Hajj is a month of information.
01:00:05So whosoever has made the Hajj obligatory among them,
01:00:08then there will be no slander, no disobedience, nor dispute in the Hajj.
01:00:13And whatever good you do, Allah knows it.
01:00:17And provide for yourselves, for indeed, the best increase is piety.
01:00:22And fear Me, O people of understanding.
01:00:28There is not upon you a sin that you seek bounty from your Lord.
01:00:34So when you depart from Arafat, remember Allah at the Sacred Mosque,
01:00:46and remember Him as He has guided you.
01:00:49And if you should be before Him, you would be among the astray.
01:00:59Then depart from where the people depart, and ask forgiveness of Allah.
01:01:05Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
01:01:09And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah as you remember your fathers,
01:01:16or as much as you remember.
01:01:18And of the people is he who says,
01:01:21Our Lord, give us in this world, and for him in the Hereafter, no creation.
01:01:28And of them is he who says,
01:01:30Our Lord, give us in this world a good thing, and in the Hereafter a good thing,
01:01:36and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
01:01:41Those will have a share of what they have earned.
01:01:46And Allah is swift in reckoning.
01:01:50And remember Allah in numbered days.
01:01:55So whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him,
01:02:00and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him.
01:02:05For him who fears Allah.
01:02:07And fear Allah, and know that to Him you will be gathered.
01:02:15And of the people is he who, in the life of this world,
01:02:21and Allah bears witness to what is in his heart, and he is the most pleasant in dispute.
01:02:27And when he turns away, he strives in the earth to cause corruption therein,
01:02:31and to destroy the crop and the progeny.
01:02:34And Allah does not like corruption.
01:02:37And when it is said to him, fear Allah,
01:02:40pride has seized him by sin, and hell is enough for him.
01:02:45And wretched is the abode.
01:02:48And of the people is he who sells his soul,
01:02:51seeking the pleasure of Allah.
01:02:54And Allah is kind to His servants.
01:02:58O you who have believed!
01:03:01Enter into peace completely,
01:03:05and follow not the footsteps of Satan.
01:03:09Verily, he is to you a manifest enemy.
01:03:13And if you go astray after the clear proofs have come to you,
01:03:19then know that Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.
01:03:25Do they wait except that Allah should come to them in the shade of clouds,
01:03:32and the angels, and the matter be decided?
01:03:36And to Allah are returned the affairs.
01:03:39Ask the Children of Israel how many clear signs We have given them.
01:03:46And whosoever alters the favor of Allah after it has come to him,
01:03:51then verily, Allah is severe in retribution.
01:03:56The life of this world is beautiful for those who disbelieve,
01:04:00and they mock those who believe,
01:04:03and those who fear Allah above them on the Day of Resurrection.
01:04:07And Allah provides for whom He wills without reckoning.
01:04:14The people were one nation,
01:04:18and Allah raised the Prophets as bearers of good tidings and warners.
01:04:24And He sent down with them the Book with truth,
01:04:27that He may judge between the people concerning that in which they differed.
01:04:32And there differed not in it except those who were given it,
01:04:36after the clear proofs had come to them, out of transgression between them.
01:04:42So Allah guided those who believed to that in which they differed of the truth by His leave.
01:04:48And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.
01:04:56Did you think that those who will enter Paradise,
01:04:59and when the example of those who passed away before you will come to you,
01:05:05they will be touched by misery and hardship and they will be shaken
01:05:12until the Messenger and those who believed along with him say,
01:05:17When will be the help of Allah? Verily, the help of Allah is near.
01:05:26They ask you, What do they spend?
01:05:30Say, Whatever good you spend, it is for the parents and the relatives,
01:05:36and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer.
01:05:41And whatever good you do, verily, Allah is Knowing of it.
01:05:47Fighting is prescribed for you, and it is a dislike for you.
01:05:51And it may be that you dislike a thing, and it is good for you.
01:05:57And it may be that you love a thing, and it is bad for you.
01:06:02And Allah knows, and you do not know.
01:06:07They ask you about the Sacred Month, a battle therein.
01:06:12Say, A great battle therein, and a barrier from the way of Allah,
01:06:17and disbelief in it, and the Sacred Mosque.
01:06:21And the expulsion of his people from it is greater with Allah,
01:06:26and the trial is greater than the killing.
01:06:29And they will not cease to fight you,
01:06:32until they turn you back from your religion, if they can.
01:06:37And whoever of you turns back from his religion and dies while he is a disbeliever,
01:06:43then those whose deeds have come to naught in this world and the Hereafter,
01:06:49and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.
01:06:55Verily, those who believe, and those who emigrate,
01:06:59and strive in the Cause of Allah, those are the ones who hope for the Mercy of Allah.
01:07:05And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
01:07:08They ask you about al-Khamr and al-Maysir.
01:07:12Say, Therein is a great sin, and benefits for the people,
01:07:17and their sin is greater than their benefit.
01:07:21And they ask you, What do they spend? Say, Forgiveness.
01:07:26Thus does Allah make clear to you the Ayat, that haply you may reflect.
01:07:32In this world and the Hereafter.
01:07:35And they ask you about the orphans. Say, Reformation is better for them.
01:07:40And if you unite them, then they are your brothers.
01:07:44And Allah knows the corrupt from the righteous.
01:07:48And if Allah had willed, He would surely have cursed you.
01:07:52Verily, Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.
01:07:56And do not marry polytheists until they believe.
01:08:00And a believing woman is better than a polytheist, even if she pleases you.
01:08:07And do not marry polytheists until they believe.
01:08:11And a believing servant is better than a polytheist,
01:08:16even if he pleases you.
01:08:18Those are the ones who invite to the Fire,
01:08:22and Allah invites to Paradise and to Forgiveness by His leave.
01:08:27And He makes clear His Ayat to the people, that haply they may reflect.
01:08:36And they ask you about the circumcision. Say, It is a harm.
01:08:40So leave the women in the encirclement and do not approach them until they are purified.
01:08:48And when you are purified, come to them from where Allah has commanded you.
01:08:54Indeed, Allah loves the repentant and loves the purified.
01:09:01Your women are a crop for you, so come to your crop as you will,
01:09:07and give precedence to yourselves.
01:09:10And fear Allah and know that you will meet Him, and give good tidings to the believers.
01:09:17And do not make Allah a barrier for your oaths, lest you be righteous and fear Allah
01:09:24and make peace between people. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
01:09:30Allah will not seize you by negligence in your oaths,
01:09:36but He will seize you by what your hearts have earned.
01:09:42And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
01:09:45For those of their women who commit adultery, wait four months,
01:09:53and if they pass, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
01:09:59And if they decide to divorce, then indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
01:10:06And the divorced women wait for themselves three months,
01:10:14and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs,
01:10:24if they should believe in Allah and the Last Day.
01:10:32And it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs,
01:10:37if they should desire reformation.
01:10:41And for them is equal that which is upon them in good,
01:10:46and for men is upon them a degree.
01:10:50And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
01:10:53Divorce is two times.
01:10:56So either you live in a good manner or you leave in a good manner.
01:11:03And it is not lawful for you to take from that which you have given,
01:11:10except that they fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah.
01:11:20So if you fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah,
01:11:25then there is no blame on them for that which they have taken.
01:11:29Those are the limits of Allah, so do not exceed them.
01:11:33And those who exceed the limits of Allah, it is they who are the wrongdoers.
01:11:41And if he divorces her, it is not lawful for him thereafter
01:11:47until she marries another husband.
01:11:50And if he divorces her, there is no blame on them
01:11:55for that which they have taken, except that they fear that they will not establish the limits of Allah.
01:12:05And those are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.
01:12:12And when you divorce women and reach their term,
01:12:18then hold them in a good manner or expel them in a good manner.
01:12:25And do not hold them by force, lest you transgress.
01:12:30And whoever does that, he has wronged himself.
01:12:34And take not the Signs of Allah as a mockery.
01:12:39And remember the favor of Allah upon you
01:12:42and what He has sent down to you of the Book and Wisdom,
01:12:47that He admonishes you thereby.
01:12:49And fear Allah and know that Allah is, of all things, Knowing.
01:12:57And when you divorce women and reach their term,
01:13:03then hold them not by force, lest they marry their spouses,
01:13:12when they are pleased with each other in a good manner.
01:13:16That He admonishes thereby.
01:13:18Whosoever of you believes in Allah and the Last Day,
01:13:24that is purer for you and purer.
01:13:28And Allah knows, and you do not know.
01:13:34And the mothers give full nourishment to their children,
01:13:40to whomsoever He wills to give full nourishment.
01:13:45And upon the children is their provision,
01:13:48and their covering in a good manner.
01:13:51No soul is burdened except by its cover.
01:13:55No mother is harmed by her child,
01:14:00nor is there a child for him by his child.
01:14:03And upon the heir is the like of that.
01:14:06And if they intend to separate from their kin and to quarrel,
01:14:12then there is no blame upon them.
01:14:15And if you intend to take your children as sustenance,
01:14:20then there is no blame upon you,
01:14:22when you submit what you have given in a good manner.
01:14:28And fear Allah and know that Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
01:14:35And those among you who die and leave wives,
01:14:41they wait for themselves four months and ten.
01:14:47But when they reach their term,
01:14:50there is no blame upon you for what they have done in themselves in a good manner.
01:14:57And Allah, of what you do, is Aware.
01:15:01And there is no blame upon you for what you have done concerning the speech of the women,
01:15:08or for what you have done concerning yourselves.
01:15:13Allah knows that you will remember them,
01:15:17but you do not promise them secretly except that you speak a good word.
01:15:26And you do not determine the term of marriage until the Book reaches its term.
01:15:32And know that Allah knows what is in your souls, so beware of Him.
01:15:39And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
01:15:45There is no blame upon you if you divorce the women
01:15:50that you have not touched them or have made obligatory for them a duty,
01:15:56and have given them a goodly provision,
01:16:02a right upon the doers of good.
01:16:07And if you divorce them before you have touched them
01:16:13and have made obligatory for them a duty,
01:16:17then half of what you have made obligatory,
01:16:22except that they forgive or forgive the one in whose hand is the knot of marriage,
01:16:30and that you forgive those closest to Taqwa.
01:16:34And forget not the favor between you.
01:16:41Indeed, Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
01:16:47Be mindful of the prayers and the middle prayer,
01:16:51and stand up to Allah obediently.
01:16:55And if you fear, then stand up on your feet or on your knees.
01:16:59And when you are secure, remember Allah as He has taught you that which you did not know.
01:17:07And those of you who die and leave wives as guardians for their wives
01:17:15will have a provision around them, not an excuse.
01:17:19So if we leave, then there is no blame upon you for what we have done to ourselves.
01:17:25Indeed, it is of a goodly provision. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
01:17:31And for the divorced women is a provision of goodly provision,
01:17:36a right upon the righteous.
01:17:39Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses
01:17:43that you may understand.
01:17:47Have you not considered those who left their homes while they were thousands,
01:17:53fearing death, and Allah said to them,
01:17:56Die, and then give them life?
01:18:00Indeed, Allah is the possessor of bounty for the people,
01:18:04but most of the people are not grateful.
01:18:09And fight in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
01:18:16Who is it that will lend to Allah a goodly loan,
01:18:21and He will multiply it for him many times?
01:18:27And Allah catches and extends, and to Him you will be returned.
01:18:33Did you not see the chiefs of the Children of Israel after Moses,
01:18:40when they said to a prophet of theirs,
01:18:44Send to us a king, we will fight in the cause of Allah.
01:18:49He said, Do you think that if the battle is decreed upon you,
01:18:54you will not fight?
01:18:56They said, And why should we not fight in the cause of Allah
01:19:01when we have been driven out of our homes and our sons?
01:19:07So when the battle was decreed upon them,
01:19:11they turned away, except a few of them.
01:19:14And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.
01:19:18And their prophet said to them,
01:19:21Indeed, Allah has sent for you Talut as a king.
01:19:25They said, How can he have dominion over us
01:19:30when we are more worthy of dominion than he is,
01:19:33who is given a portion of wealth?
01:19:37He said, Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you,
01:19:40and increased him in knowledge and stature.
01:19:45And Allah gives His dominion to whom He wills.
01:19:51And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
01:19:54And their prophet said to them,
01:19:56Indeed, the sign of his dominion is that the Tablet will come to you,
01:20:01in which is a tranquility from your Lord
01:20:06and a remnant of what the people of Moses and the people of Aaron left,
01:20:13which the angels carry.
01:20:17Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you should be believers.
01:20:27And when Talut parted his skins, he said,
01:20:31Indeed, Allah will test you with a river,
01:20:35and whoever drinks from it is not of me,
01:20:39and whoever does not feed it is of me,
01:20:44except he who takes a portion in his hand,
01:20:48and they drink from it, except a little from it.
01:20:52And when he and those who believed with him passed it, they said,
01:20:58There is no power for us today against Jalut and his soldiers.
01:21:02Those who think that they will meet Allah said,
01:21:08How many a small party has overcome a large party by permission of Allah.
01:21:18And Allah is with the patient.
01:21:22And when they went out to Jalut and his soldiers, they said,
01:21:27They said, Our Lord, pour upon us patience,
01:21:32and make firm our feet, and help us against the disbelieving people.
01:21:38So they defeated him by permission of Allah,
01:21:41and David killed Jalut, and Allah gave him sovereignty and wisdom,
01:21:47and taught him what he willed.
01:21:51And if Allah had not pushed the people, some of them against others,
01:21:55the earth would have been corrupted.
01:21:57But Allah is the possessor of bounty over the worlds.
01:22:03These are the verses of Allah.
01:22:05We recite them to you in truth, and indeed, you are of the messengers.
01:22:12These are the messengers.
01:22:13We have preferred some of them over others.
01:22:16Of them are those to whom Allah has spoken,
01:22:19and He has raised some of them in ranks.
01:22:23And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs,
01:22:26and strengthened him with the spirit of holiness.
01:22:29And if Allah had willed, those would have been slain after them,
01:22:35after the clear proofs had come to them.
01:22:39But they differed, and of them are those who believe,
01:22:45and of them are those who disbelieve.
01:22:48And if Allah had willed, they would not have been slain,
01:22:51but Allah does what He wills.
01:22:57O you who have believed!
01:23:01Spend from that which We have provided you before there comes a Day
01:23:08in which there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession.
01:23:15And the disbelievers are the wrongdoers.
01:23:18Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting.
01:23:24No evil or blame will overtake Him.
01:23:27To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
01:23:31Who is it that intercedes with Him except by His permission?
01:23:36He knows what is before them and what is behind them,
01:23:40and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except that which He wills.
01:23:47His throne extends over the heavens and the earth,
01:23:51and His protection does not fail them.
01:23:54And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
01:23:57There is no compulsion in religion.
01:24:00The right course has become clear from error.
01:24:03So whoever disbelieves in transgression and believes in Allah,
01:24:08then he has grasped the heavy burden which he has been burdened with.
01:24:14And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
01:24:18Allah is the Protector of those who believe.
01:24:21He brings them out of darkness into light.
01:24:25And those who disbelieve, their allies are the transgressors.
01:24:30They bring them out of light into darkness.
01:24:35Those are the companions of the Fire. They will abide therein eternally.
01:24:41Do you not see that to whom Abraham argued concerning his Lord,
01:24:48Allah gave him sovereignty?
01:24:51When Abraham said,
01:24:53My Lord is He who gives life and causes death.
01:24:57He said, I give life and cause death.
01:25:00Abraham said,
01:25:02Verily, Allah brings forth the sun from the east,
01:25:06and brings it forth from the west.
01:25:08So the one who disbelieved was astonished.
01:25:11And Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.
01:25:15Or like one who passed over a town while it was lying on its roofs.
01:25:22He said, How will Allah give life to this one after its death?
01:25:27So Allah gave him death for a hundred years.
01:25:30Then He raised him up.
01:25:32He said, How long did you stay?
01:25:34He said, I stayed a day or part of a day.
01:25:37He said, Nay, but you stayed a hundred years.
01:25:40So look at your food and your drink,
01:25:44which have not yet dried up.
01:25:46And look at your donkey,
01:25:48that We may make you a sign for the people.
01:25:52And look at the bones,
01:25:54how We raise them,
01:25:56then We cut them into flesh.
01:25:59And when it became clear to him, he said,
01:26:02I know that Allah is Able to do all things.
01:26:08And when Abraham said,
01:26:10My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.
01:26:14He said, Do you not believe?
01:26:16He said, Nay, but that my heart may be at rest.
01:26:21He said, Then take four of the birds and lead them to you.
01:26:26Then place on each mountain from them a portion.
01:26:37Then call upon them that they may come to you in pursuit.
01:26:42And know that Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.
01:26:49The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah
01:26:54is like the example of a grain that grows seven clusters
01:27:01in each cluster a hundred grains.
01:27:05And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.
01:27:09And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
01:27:12Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah
01:27:17and then do not follow what they have spent in wealth
01:27:27and harm will have their reward with their Lord.
01:27:33And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
01:27:38A kind word and forgiveness
01:27:41is better than a charity followed by harm.
01:27:47And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Forbearing.
01:27:50O you who have believed!
01:27:53Do not neglect your charities in wealth and harm
01:27:58like one who spends his wealth to see people
01:28:06and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day.
01:28:10Then his likeness is like the likeness of a barren land
01:28:14on which there is dust.
01:28:16Then a thunderbolt strikes him and he is left standing.
01:28:22They are not able to do anything of what they have earned.
01:28:27And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
01:28:31And the likeness of those who spend their wealth
01:28:35seeking the pleasure of Allah
01:28:38and as a proof for themselves
01:28:41is like the likeness of a garden in which a thorn has struck it
01:28:48and it has given its fruits twice.
01:28:51And if a thorn does not strike it, then it is lost.
01:28:55And Allah is Seeing of what you do.
01:29:00Would any of you like that he should have a garden of date palms
01:29:07and grapevines beneath which rivers flow,
01:29:15in which he has all the fruits?
01:29:19And he is old, and he has a weak offspring,
01:29:27and he has a fire in which he has a fire, and it has burned.
01:29:35Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses,
01:29:39that you may reflect.
01:29:43O you who have believed, spend of the good things which you have earned
01:29:51and of what We have brought forth for you from the earth.
01:29:59And do not consume the bad things thereof.
01:30:02You spend, and you do not take it except that you are lost in it.
01:30:11But know that Allah is Self-Sufficient, Worthy of all Praise.
01:30:16Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit immorality.
01:30:24And Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty.
01:30:30And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
01:30:33He gives wisdom to whom He wills.
01:30:38And whosoever is given wisdom has certainly been given much good.
01:30:45And none takes heed except those of understanding.
01:30:52And whatever you spend of spending or leave of leaving,
01:31:00surely Allah knows it.
01:31:03And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
01:31:07If you show charity, then it is a blessing.
01:31:11And if you conceal it and give it to the poor, then it is good for you.
01:31:18And He will remove from you your misdeeds.
01:31:23And Allah is Aware of what you do.
01:31:27It is not for you to guide them, but Allah guides whom He wills.
01:31:33And whatever good you spend, it is for yourselves.
01:31:38And you spend not except seeking the Face of Allah.
01:31:43And whatever good you spend, it will be paid back to you, and you will not be wronged.
01:31:51For the poor who have been confined in the way of Allah,
01:31:56they will not be able to strike them in the earth.
01:32:01The ignorant will think that they are rich in indulgence.
01:32:06You will recognize them by their mark.
01:32:12They will not ask people for alms.
01:32:15And whatever good you spend, surely Allah knows it.
01:32:22Those who spend their wealth by night and by day,
01:32:28secretly and openly,
01:32:30for them is their reward with their Lord.
01:32:34And there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve.
01:32:39Those who eat interest do not stand up,
01:32:43except as the one who falls down is standing up,
01:32:46whom Satan has made to fall from touch.
01:32:50That is because they say,
01:32:53Selling is only like interest.
01:32:57And Allah has made selling lawful,
01:32:59and He has forbidden interest.
01:33:01So whoever comes to Him with an admonition from his Lord,
01:33:06then he is finished.
01:33:09For him is that which preceded him, and his affair is with Allah.
01:33:13And whoever returns,
01:33:15then those are the companions of the Fire,
01:33:20in it they will abide eternally.
01:33:23Allah destroys interest,
01:33:25and He increases charity.
01:33:27And Allah does not love every sinful disbeliever.
01:33:32Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds
01:33:36and establish prayer and give zakah,
01:33:39for them is their reward with their Lord.
01:33:43And there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve.
01:33:49O you who have believed, fear Allah
01:33:53and leave what remains of interest,
01:33:56if you are believers.
01:34:00And if you do not,
01:34:02then be warned of a war from Allah and His Messenger.
01:34:07And if you repent,
01:34:09then you will have your heads and your wealth.
01:34:11You will not do wrong, and you will not be wronged.
01:34:15And if the person is in difficulty,
01:34:18then look to ease him.
01:34:21And that you give charity is better for you,
01:34:24if you only knew.
01:34:28And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah.
01:34:33Then every soul will be paid in full for what it earned,
01:34:37and they will not be wronged.
01:34:41O you who have believed,
01:34:45when you borrow money for a specified term,
01:34:52then write it down.
01:34:54And let a scribe write between you in justice.
01:34:58And no scribe will refuse to write
01:35:01as Allah has taught him.
01:35:03So let him write.
01:35:04And let the one who has the right give priority,
01:35:07and let him fear Allah, his Lord,
01:35:10and let him not deviate from Him at all.
01:35:13And if the one who has the right is ungrateful or weak
01:35:18or is unable to give priority,
01:35:21then let the one who has the right give priority in justice.
01:35:25And take two witnesses from among your men as witnesses.
01:35:29And if they are not two men,
01:35:31then take a man and two women from among the witnesses
01:35:37that you may mislead one of them,
01:35:42and remind one of them to the other.
01:35:46And the witnesses will not refuse when they are called.
01:35:50And do not hesitate to write it down,
01:35:53whether small or large,
01:35:55for a term.
01:35:57That is most just with Allah
01:36:00and most suitable for the testimony.
01:36:09And it is better not to doubt
01:36:12except that it be a current trade
01:36:21that you manage between yourselves,
01:36:23so there is no blame upon you
01:36:27that you do not write it down.
01:36:30And bear witness when you make a pledge of allegiance,
01:36:33and no scribe or witness will be harmed.
01:36:39And if you do, then indeed, it is disobedience to you.
01:36:45And fear Allah, and Allah will teach you,
01:36:48and Allah is Knowing of all things.
01:36:52And if you are on a journey
01:36:55and do not find a writer,
01:36:57then there is a guarantee of his capture.
01:37:00And if some of you trust one another,
01:37:03then let the one whom you trust give priority,
01:37:06and let him fear Allah, his Lord.
01:37:09And do not conceal the testimony.
01:37:11And whoever conceals it,
01:37:13then indeed, his heart is a sinner.
01:37:18And Allah is Knowing of what you do.
01:37:22To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
01:37:26And if you reveal what is in yourselves
01:37:30or conceal it, Allah will judge you.
01:37:34So He forgives whom He wills,
01:37:37and punishes whom He wills.
01:37:41And Allah is Able to do all things.
01:37:45The Messenger believed in what was revealed to him
01:37:49from his Lord and the believers.
01:37:52All believed in Allah and His angels
01:37:56and His books and His messengers.
01:37:58We make no distinction between any of His messengers.
01:38:03And they say,
01:38:04We have heard and obeyed your forgiveness, our Lord,
01:38:08and to You is the destination.
01:38:10Allah does not burden a soul except in its capacity.
01:38:14It has what it earned, and upon it is what it earned.
01:38:18Our Lord, do not take us if we forget or make a mistake.
01:38:25Our Lord, and do not bear upon us a burden
01:38:30as You carried it upon those before us.
01:38:35Our Lord, and do not bear upon us
01:38:38what we have no power to bear.
01:38:41And pardon us and forgive us and have mercy on us.
01:38:45You are our protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.
