00:00Hi, and welcome back to another episode of The Land's Last Lot, where we look at some
00:09of the stud stock sales trends and results over the past fortnight.
00:13I'm journalist Elke Depney.
00:15And I'm livestock editor, Rebecca Natch.
00:18There have been some good sales lately.
00:20I've been 225,000.
00:21I'm in your heads.
00:22Dunoon Angus was the standout with its $225,000 sale.
00:26What did we get all day?
00:29$225,000.
00:30Quick.
00:31Want him?
00:32Done.
00:33The bull was catalogued as Lot 30 and brought forward as Lot 2.
00:38Gilman Dyke Pastoral of Orange were the buyers.
00:41And Ironbark Herefords also had a good result.
00:44The stud reached a $70,000 top to average $10,230 across the 100 bulls it sold.
00:51I was lucky enough to be at Gilman Dyke Angus the other day, where a Bull Ridge Versatile
00:55Sun made $100,000.
00:56Hold it.
00:57$100,000.
00:58He's gone for it.
00:59Quick.
01:00Done.
01:01$100,000, Harry.
01:02He was bought by a long-term commercial client for the stud, but their previous top price
01:08was $55,000.
01:09It was a huge result for them.
01:12Another Versatile Sun was the second top price bull.
01:15And Dunoon Prime Minister and Sterling Pacific Offspring also sold well.
01:19Speaking of stud records, Renny Lee Angus sold to a top price of $75,000.
01:25They cleared 100% of their 243 bulls, which averaged $14,230, back their previous stud
01:32sale record was $65,000.
01:35Yeah.
01:36Impressive for them.
01:37And Renny Lee offered and sold 334 bulls at auction last year.
01:41They really do have a big influence on the BAFE industry.
01:44Hardy Green Park in Santas reached $32,000, as did KO Angus in Gundagai.
01:50Yenberg and Short Horns towards Narrabri sold to a top of $28,000, and they also had
01:55a 100% clearance.
01:57Churity did well, too.
01:58Their Charolais topped at $32,500, Short Horns at $30,000, and finally, 3R Angus topped at
02:06$44,000.

02:11via The Land's website.
02:13And we have a huge few weeks coming up.
