Vampire The Masquerade Justice REVIEW on the Quest 3
Become a vampire. Strike from the darkness and drink the blood of your prey. Use stealth, persuasion, and an arsenal of upgradable abilities to sneak past enemies undetected or punish the guilty in the seedy backstreets of nighttime Venice.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Justice is an open-ended, narrative Adventure RPG set in the World of Darkness universe. You have the power to strike fear into the hearts of a criminal underworld as an untraceable shadow, picking off targets one-by-one.
STEALTH IS YOUR WEAPON
Shadows are your ally. Take to the rooftops and seek new paths away from enemy eyes. Use Shadow Traps to snatch up unsuspecting prey and drag them into Oblivion. Activate Cloak of Shadows and slip unseen through enemy defenses. In Vampire: The Masquerade - Justice, stealth is your weapon.
BECOME A POWERFUL VAMPIRE
Punish the guilty with brutal abilities. Launch yourself towards opponents with immense force or boil their insides with Cauldron of Blood. Approach from behind and sink in your fangs to stock up on blood. Load your crossbow with special bolts to kill, distract or knock out guards from afar. Dish out Justice with a vengeance.
LEVEL UP AND EXPLORE
The dark skies of Venice provide ample opportunity to level up powers and build a character suited to your playstyle. Tackle side-missions away from the campaign to earn more experience. Convince NPCs to aid your quest, solve puzzles, uncover collectibles and test yourself with optional tasks in each mission.

00:00Now, if you are a vampire fan, you're going to absolutely love this game. Creeping around
00:08the rooftops to the beautiful backdrop of Venice is just simply amazing. Now, I will
00:15admit that playing my first hour of this game, I was wondering if I liked it or not. I didn't
00:22feel I was really doing anything apart from trying to find my way through streets and
00:27sewers with no purpose. And you only have one way that you can really go, which you
00:34get gently guided around until you reach the end of that mission. I was also feeling slightly
00:40frustrated that I was seeing a lot of locked doors that I just couldn't find keys for.
00:46But I didn't know at the time that I would be revisiting all these locations and those
00:52doors would become available to me as the game progressed. It's a solo player game
00:58and you have the choice of playing the lead character as a male vampire or a female vampire.
01:04Vampire-esque? I don't know. The story is quite long. I swear I've been playing this
01:11game for about six or seven hours now. The story does enough to keep you interested and
01:17it plods along quite nicely, with some different stories that are thrown in as you find items
01:26and get this voiceover of a memory attached to that found item. The game menus are simple
01:33enough. There's nothing too complicated to navigate in there. The enemies, I wish, would
01:38be a little more smarter and random. I feel it's too easy to sneak up behind someone to
01:46lunge in at their neck, and sneaking around in this game is key. It reminds me a bit of
01:52the very first Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation 1, except you don't have any guns. The bosses
01:59can be a little bit more challenging, but they still feel pretty easy considering they
02:04are meant to be the big, hard boss. Weapon choices, or powers should I say, are
02:11quite interesting and inventive. So far I've seen the ground swallow up enemies by a hole
02:19opening up in the ground and what appears to be the dead coming up through and pulling
02:25down the enemy into the hole. It's pretty frightening. You can turn invisible with some
02:31great sneak attacks, or you can just stand there in front of the enemy as they're quite
02:36oblivious to you. You get a mini crossbow that's attached to the back of your hand,
02:42which fires these little arrows that can be used to shoot at collectible gongs around
02:48the city, or you can kill people with them, and there's a few other options. Another thing
02:54is, you have to keep your blood levels up if you want to use your powers. If you run
03:00out of blood, you cannot use your invisibility power or special attack powers. So to top
03:07up your blood, you either drink the blood of your enemies, or random folk on the streets,
03:13or there's plenty of rats in the city to catch and get a quick small fix.
03:18A small thing that I get frustrated with in this game is that, when you die, it takes
03:24time for it to load back up. Don't get me wrong, it's only 10 or 15 seconds, but in
03:31the Quest 3 VR, that feels like forever. The level sizes are quite big, or at least they
03:38feel quite big. Maybe being up on the rooftops and ledges makes the game appear bigger. And
03:44you do keep returning to locations throughout the game to play various missions.
03:50But the city of Venice looks fantastic. Having been there many times myself, I have to say,
03:57I recognised nothing. But of course, this is more of a dated Venice than a modern looking
04:03Venice that I visited numerous occasions. The levelling up options are nice. As you
04:10complete your missions, you earn XP. Then you can use that XP to buy stronger powers,
04:17such as your jumping or invisibility, or buy different arrow darts for your crossbow.
04:23It makes you want to complete more missions to get the really cool stuff.
04:29Moving on to the controls. They can be a little fiddly. Making ammo for your crossbow, or
04:36loading it and shooting it is all fine, but creating some spells can sometimes be a little
04:43tricky, especially if you want to do it fast. Not a huge deal, but I wish there was a simpler way.
04:50Puzzles in this game are pretty basic. Most of it involves finding keys to open doors,
04:57or finding wheels to turn to empty water or fill up water, or find power storage devices
05:04to turn off or on to open doors. Be nice to have some more stuff in there, but what is there
05:10is just about enough to keep the game going. This is definitely a unique game in VR. I thoroughly
05:18enjoyed sneaking around on the high ledges and creeping past enemies whilst invisible,
05:24or sneaking up on them to suck their blood. So overall, I score this game at 34 out of 40,
05:34and you can find my scoring system in the description section below. Now please watch
05:40and enjoy the rest of my gameplay video, and give me a like and a comment, and definitely
05:46subscribe to my channel. Thanks guys, and I will see you in the next one.
06:10So
06:40So
06:49That's it
07:10Uh
07:25I can't be right
07:40Uh
07:50Oh
08:01I'll cover this area
08:19Hello, justice. So nice of you to come. I'm sad to say this is where it ends for you,
08:30child of Haki.
