02:11she said. Marjorie knew that she had been caught out so the best way forward would be to keep her
02:17mouth shut. She doubted that Eric would find her footprints in his apartment and she also knew that
02:23he would not act without concrete evidence. At this point Brian decided to make his presence known.

02:37about. Eric had no time for his father's interruptions so he gestured for Luke to
02:42take his father away. You monster. Brian screamed as he was being pulled away. What kind of a man
02:49does this to his own parents? You think I'm the monster? Eric asked. You can leave but this woman
02:56needs to admit everything she's done to Emma. That stupid airhead is being punished for what
03:02she's done to us. Brian spat back furious that his wife had been insulted. Eric glared at his
03:08father before he responded. Don't you dare talk about Emma like that. What lies has that woman
03:14been feeding you? Brian asked. Let your mother go. Losing patience with his father Eric once again
03:23gestured for Luke to take him away which panicked Marjorie. I'm going to call the police. Brian yelled
03:30pulling his phone out of his pocket however before he had a chance to make the call. Eric beat him to
03:36it. Hello my name is Eric Roberts he said. I would like to report an attempt on my wife's life.
03:45As Eric gave the police his details he took great pleasure in seeing his parents stunned cases.
03:51How long do you think it will take them to solve the case? He asked Marjorie after hanging up.
03:58She opened her mouth to respond but nothing came out even when Eric stood up and gestured for her
04:04to do the same. She was too shocked to move. I never imagined he would go to the police.
04:11She thought how could he do that? Come on let's go. Brian said he grabbed Marjorie's hand and
04:20tried to pull her away but she immediately went over to Eric. I never intended things to go this
04:26far. I don't know what came over me. Marjorie looked pleadingly at Eric. Please let this go.
04:33I gave you the chance to come clean Eric replied. What kind of chances? This she asked. That's not
04:41my problem Eric said with a shrug terrified at the prospect of going to jail. Marjorie grabbed
04:47her son with both hands and forced him to look at her. Please don't report me to the police she said.
04:55Are you admitting that you were the one who drugged her? Brian asked. I wasn't thinking
05:00straight. Marjorie responded turning to plead with her husband. Please help me.
05:08Brian sighed and closed his eyes for a second. I understand why Eric is so angry now. He thought
05:15no matter what she's done she's still your mother. Brian said Emma is fine now so can't you forgive
05:22her? What if something had happened to her? Eric asked. You can't send your mother to prison.
05:30Brian replied. So Marjorie can do whatever she wants and get away with it. Eric thought. I don't
05:37think so. Not only will I send her to prison but she's going to suffer for what she did. Eric
05:43swiftly put his hand up to silence Brian when he tried to interrupt. Before you defend her you
05:48should take a closer look at her. Is she really the woman you married? There was a stunned silence
05:55in the room. What does he mean? Brian wondered. I suggest you figure out who your actual wife is
06:03before you start pleading for this woman's freedom. Eric replied. Worried by the direction
06:08this conversation was going in Marjorie once again focused her energies on appeasing Eric.
06:14Police told the police that you made a mistake. She said. I'll do anything. Eric turned his back
06:22on her and sat down refusing to respond. For a long time everyone in the room fell into an awkward
06:29silence. How long do you plan to keep this up? Brian asked. Finally giving in to his frustration
06:37until my wife wakes up. Eric replied. Don't you think that she deserves an explanation?
06:43Is that woman the only person who matters to you? Brian asked his son. Eric just looked at his

06:59While Eric and Brian were arguing Marjorie took the opportunity to slowly remove her shoes.
07:06She planned to dispose of them in a nearby trash can but she wasn't given the chance.
07:11What are you trying to do? Luke asked. Taking the shoes from her. This is all slander. Marjorie
07:18screamed. Someone else did it and tried to frame me. Everyone was baffled by her behavior. She
07:24appeared to have accepted her guilt a few moments ago but now she was looking for another way to
07:29shift the blame. Now that her shoes had Luke's fingerprints on them they could no longer be used
07:35as evidence. If there are any of my fingerprints in Eric's apartment I can say that they must have
07:41been from when I stayed there. Marjorie thought everyone was shocked by how calculating she was
07:47being furious. Eric grabbed Marjorie and glared at her. Do you really think I'm going to let you
07:53get away with this? He asked. Brian stepped between them and tore Marjorie away from his son's grip.
08:00He felt compelled to protect her but that didn't mean he was happy with what she had done.
08:06Is she really? The woman I thought she was. Brian thought he's trying to frame his own mother.
08:12Marjorie said, oh shut up. Eliza exclaimed stepping forward. This is a family matter.
08:19Brian replied not bothering to hide his irritation at the interruption.
08:24What has it got to do with you? You can shut up as well. You piece of trash. Eliza spat back
08:31daring him to make a move against her. Not only are you stupid but you're blind too.
08:36Brian was too shocked to move an inch. However Marjorie stepped forward and tore off the surgical
08:43mask that Eliza had been wearing in the hospital. When Marjorie saw the scars on her face she laughed.
08:51You're hideous. Eric decided to leave them to argue and headed back to his wife's room.
08:58Emma has been on her own for long enough. He thought Luke can stay behind and make sure
09:03nothing happens to my real mother. Meanwhile Eliza tried to cover her face with her collar
09:09and glared at Marjorie. This is all thanks to you. She spat. What are you talking about? Marjorie
09:17asked. I'm talking about the fact that you stole my identity after the explosion at the research
09:23facility. Eliza responded. Marjorie gulped. She had no idea that Eliza was still alive
09:31and she certainly had never expected her to turn up one day and accuse her. This woman must be
09:37mentally ill. Marjorie hid behind Brian and clung onto him. She's talking nonsense. Are you really
09:45that insane? Brian asked Eliza. Do you honestly think I'm incapable of recognizing my own wife?
09:52Has someone put you up to this? Eliza sneered at Brian's compulsion to protect Marjorie.
09:58The summer after we first met, we arranged to go on a vacation to France. Eliza said,

11:24laugh or cry. Marjorie really is a piece of work, she replied. Eric responded, taking Emma's hand.
11:33I want whatever happens to her to be your call. Forget about that for a minute. We need to help
11:39your mother get her life back, Emma said. She had no intention of forgiving Marjorie for what she
11:46had done. Her actions could have led to her losing the baby. In some ways, it was even worse than what
11:53Jenna had done to her. However, getting help for Eliza needed to be the priority right now.
12:00Either way, Emma thought Marjorie was going to wish she had never been born.
12:05Are you feeling any better? Eric asked, noticing the dark circles under her eyes.
12:11If something had happened to you and the baby, I have no idea what I would have done.
12:18I'm fine. Emma gave him a reassuring smile and rubbed her belly. We're both fine. Eric hugged
12:25her tightly and tried to hold back the wave of emotions that threatened to overwhelm him.
12:30I hate seeing you struggle like this, he finally replied. Women have had to deal with pregnancy
12:36and giving birth for a long, long time, Emma said with a laugh. Many go through it on their own.
12:43I'm so lucky that I've got you by my side. Eric smiled at her and squeezed onto the bed next to
