00:00The two men who fought on the ground in Tagaytay City returned from the encounter.

00:04Three men were already on the run.

00:07Vel Custodio was at the center of the news.

00:12The two policemen were killed after a lawyer and two of his associates were found inside a private subdivision

00:21in Barangay Maitim, 2nd Central, Tagaytay City, Cavite, around 2 p.m. yesterday.

00:27The reason for the gunfight was that they were fighting on the ground.

00:31They were looking for a property to procure.

00:35At the gate, they were not allowed to enter but they tried to enter.

00:46There was an altercation at the gate.

00:49The two policemen who were identified as Police Captain Adrian Binalay of CIDG-NCR

00:55and Police Captain Tomas Ganyo Batarao, Jr. of Calamba City Police Station

01:00were with three other civilians, including the subdivision's guard.

01:05Among the civilians who were with the authorities,

01:08the so-called owner had the title of the land they were going to.

01:12Upon arriving at the area where they were supposed to look for the property,

01:19one of our suspects suddenly disappeared.

01:24Suddenly, one of our suspects, an attorney, was with him.

01:30Another suspect, a retired sheriff, was also with him.

01:34The suspects and the police fought again.

01:37All of our victims ran away.

01:41Eventually, our alleged suspect came down and there was a short altercation.

01:52Suddenly, the police shot him.

01:54According to the civilians who were with them,

01:56the first one to shoot was the attorney.

01:59After the shot was fired,

02:01Police Captain Binalay was dead on the spot

02:04while Police Captain Batarao, Jr. was dead on arrival.

02:08The attorney who was shot was also dead on arrival.

02:11A bullet was recovered on the side of the attorney's vehicle.

02:14The bodies of the two policemen are now in the furinary.

02:17We are still trying to get hold of the bodies of the victims who are currently in the funeral.

02:22The suspects refused to face the media.

02:25We are still awaiting the results of the investigation of the SOCO

02:28and the backtracking of the police to the CCTV

02:31to find out if there is a false complaint that will be filed against the suspects.
