00:06That's why there are some houses in Baseco Compound in Toto, Manila, that were hit by a strong storm from Manila Bay.

00:25They were hit by a new problem because their house was hit by the storm Enteng.

00:56Ryan is just one of the residents of Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila,

01:00who were affected by the strong wind and storm brought by the storm Enteng and Habagat.

01:05Residents in the area say that there are already 30 houses hit by the strong storm.

01:11It started at 8 a.m.

01:14Another problem is that because of the strong storm,

01:17the barge that stopped the water from flowing in the bay didn't move.

01:21That's why some roads in Tondo are already flooded.

01:24Because of this, the barangay already carried out an evacuation for the affected families.

01:29But even though the LGU continues to remind us,

01:32there are still some residents in Baseco who don't want to leave their homes.

01:39We're used to it because it happens every year.

01:42We didn't evacuate because we're used to it.

01:47Our house is high, so we have to take care of it.

01:51It's hard to leave because there are still a lot of people here.

01:59Joshua, earlier we went to the evacuation center at H.J. Atienza Elementary School.

02:05It's near Baseco Compound.

02:07And we saw that there are 29 families who are still there.

02:12And they are giving help to the Manila LGU.

02:15For now, we're still confirming the number of houses that were affected in Baseco Compound.

02:21And we're also checking if the evacuation is still going on.

02:25But earlier, there are still people who are moving around the barangay.

02:29Meanwhile, Joshua, because of the strong wind here in Manila,

02:33earlier, there was also a storm that passed through Rojas Boulevard.

02:36But it was immediately stopped by the Metro Manila Development Authority or MMDA.

02:41And for now, just a little update, it's still raining here.

02:44But the strong wind that we felt earlier this morning is almost gone.
