00:00It's been a warm and wet start to September thanks to an area of low
00:04pressure that has now moved to the northeast of the UK and high pressure is
00:08developing from the west so more settled conditions expected over the next 48

00:17though across central southern and eastern parts of England on Tuesday but
00:21also rather cloudy with a risk of some slow-moving heavy showers particularly
00:25around the East Midlands, East Anglia and the southeast. Meanwhile drier elsewhere
00:29but becoming cloudier and there will also be some heavy showers developing
00:33across parts of western Scotland and Northern Ireland where it will turn
00:37fresher and breezier. There will be some sunshine about though especially around
00:41parts of the northeast of England down towards the West Midlands, the east of
00:44Wales and central southern England. Wednesday starts off with plenty of
00:48sunshine and dry weather a chilly start in the north though into the afternoon
00:52cloudier skies will develop from the west and there will be the risk of some
00:55slow-moving showers especially across western areas. Later there will also be
