00:00Good morning. Let's first update on how we are monitoring Severe Tropical Storm Enteng.
00:09Earlier at 4 in the afternoon, its center was at a distance of 165 kilometers,
00:15in the north of Lawag City, Ilocos Norte.
00:19It was carrying a strong wind of 95 kilometers per hour and a storm of 115 kilometers per hour.
00:26It was moving west-northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
00:32Let's take a look at Enteng's track.
00:36We can see that after 24 hours or 2 p.m. on September 4,
00:43it was outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility at 345 kilometers west-northwest of Lawag City, Ilocos Norte.
00:52After 48 hours, it was at a distance of 565 kilometers west of Lawag City, Ilocos Norte.
01:00After 72 hours, it was at a distance of 965 kilometers west of the extreme northern Luzon area.
01:09We still have tropical cyclone wind signals.
01:15The highest is signal number 1 here in Ilocos Norte, in Ilocos Sur, northern portion of La Union, and also in Abra.
01:26In strong rains, the light blue is caused by Severe Tropical Storm Enteng,
01:34and the white is Southwest Monsoon.
01:36We can see for today, 100 to 200 millimeters of rain possible in Mezambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.
01:4350 to 100 millimeters of rain for today in Ilocos Region and Abra caused by Enteng,
01:49and then the rest is caused by Southwest Monsoon.
01:52So, 50 to 100 millimeters of rain in northern Palawan, Calamian, Cuyo, and Cagayancillo Islands,
01:59in Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija.
02:06For tomorrow, 100 to 200 millimeters of rain possible in Mezambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro.
02:1450 to 100 in northern Palawan, Calamian, Cuyo, and Cagayancillo Islands, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, La Union, and Benguet.
02:27And by Thursday, 100 to 200 millimeters of rain in Mezambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro,
02:34while 50 to 100 millimeters in northern Palawan, Calamian, Cuyo, and Cagayancillo Islands, Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Pangasinan.
02:47In strong winds, it is possible to bring Habagat or Southwest Monsud.
02:52Strong winds for today in Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Northern Samar, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, and Northern Samar.
04:11At sa labas ng PAR, itong bagyong ito ay generally magmumove westward until Friday morning and then north-westward for the remaining of the forecast period.
04:23And then, inaasahan nga natin na mag-intensify pa ito throughout the forecast period and may become a typhoon on Thursday,
04:31and then posible nga mag-landfall ito in the vicinity of southern mainland China during the weekend.
04:38Ito naman yung tinatawag nating tropical cyclone threat potential.
04:42So, meron tayong forecast dito as good as two weeks para sa mga vortex ng posibleng mga maging bagyo.
04:51So, unahin natin itong week one, itong nasa taas, so September 3 to 9.
05:00So, itong vortex 1 at vortex 3, ito ay may low to moderate chance na mag-develop into a tropical cyclone.
05:13And then, mababa naman yung chance ng vortex 2.
05:17So, for week 2, September 10 to 16, nakita nga natin itong si vortex 1 ay nasa low to moderate chance pa rin ng pag-develop into a tropical cyclone.
05:41So, nakita nga natin na mahaba yung time frame neto.
05:48Although, for now, wala naman tayong currently na mamonitor na low pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility.
