00:00First-round pick, rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was shot in the chest over the weekend during an attempted robbery in San Francisco.
00:09He, of course, now, he is okay, Scotty, doing better.
00:13Will start the season on the non-football injury list, which means he misses at minimum the first four games.
00:18Scary, Scotty. It's kind of like with the Washington running back, Bryan Robinson, a couple years ago, right?
00:24Remember right before the season? Similar situation. Someone's trying to rob him and he got shot.
00:29Yeah, like, you know, I saw him like walking around, you know, when it happened, like when they, you know what I mean?
00:35Put him in the ambulance or whatever. He's like, I got this. Don't worry about it. I'm fine.
00:39Like, so I was like, it can't be that bad if the guy's walking around and he's getting into the ambulance.
00:45He obviously got lucky it didn't hit vital organs.
00:48Very lucky.
00:49But honestly, anywhere, anytime, listen, you and I live in New York City.
00:53Like, are you kidding me? You can walk down to get a bagel and get shanked here.
00:58Like, I don't, you know, around here. Listen, let me just sum it up for everybody.
01:02I live in New York City. Here's how they do the news. Murder, murder, murder, murder, murder, rape. Here's the weather.
01:08Yeah, you can't even watch it. You can't even watch it.
01:12Don't forget, you throw in a bad, you slip in a bad political story, too, in between all the bad stuff.
01:18Or someone being shoved in front of a subway. That's five, ten times a week.
01:21It's awful.
