00:27Has that number increased?
00:30That's right, Sir Ivan.

01:10Assec, all those affected are coming.
01:13There are no isolated or those who cannot be reached due to floods or floods.
01:18Yes, Sir Ivan.
01:20We are not accepting again that our personnel are having a hard time reaching for help.
01:26Because the strategy of the DSWD is good that we are coordinating with local government units
01:32and also we have existing relief prepositioning agreements with local government units.
01:37That's why we are using their warehouses.
01:40That's why anytime LGUs need additional family food packs, they can easily access these.
01:46What support will be provided to the affected?
01:50Those in evacuation centers and those who are not in evacuation centers,
01:54and those who are familiar with them.
01:56Yes, actually the Department of Social Welfare and Development through its field offices
02:02has already sent more than 130,000 family food packs.
02:06We also sent family kits, hygiene kits and kitchen kits, especially in Region 8.
02:13And we are continuously providing additional assistance to local government units.
02:18This morning, our National Resource Operations Center is re-releasing and dispatching additional food packs.
02:26You also mentioned that the stranded will be given assistance.
02:29Are there still stranded anywhere in the country?
02:32Well, on Monday, we were able to send assistance in coordination with the LGUs,
02:39hot meals actually, to the stranded in the ports in Batangas and also in Bicol Region.
02:46At the moment, we are not receiving any additional assistance from the stranded.
02:51But in case, the ESWD is ready to assist.
02:54In President Bongbong Marcos' statement yesterday,
02:57he said that there's more than 60 million pesos of standby funds for those who are affected by the typhoon.
03:03The way it's going, do you think that's enough or do we need additional funds?
03:08Well, that's right. We have available standby funds here in the central office and our field offices.
03:14In addition to that, we have stockpiles that are worth more than 2.6 billion pesos.
03:19Those are what we are dispatching to different places.
03:23At the moment, we are also asking the Department of Budget and Management for the replenishment of our quick response funds
03:29because that is provided that we can ask for additional quick response funds.
03:35We're very grateful that the DBM is facilitating our request.
03:40You mentioned replenishment because this typhoon is just a letter A.
03:44There are still many typhoons that can enter our country until the end of the year.
03:50How is our funding for the support of the possible affected by the next typhoons?
03:57Well Ivan, as I said, we're very grateful to the DBM for the support.
04:02In fact, they gave us an assurance that the amount of funds we can use for our disaster response operations will be adequate or sufficient.
04:10Asek Irene, good morning to you. Thank you very much.
04:13Thank you also.
04:14We talked to Irene Dumlao, spokesperson of DSWD.
