00:06Today, it's part of the celebration of SSS Pensioners' Day

00:10which was given by their pensioners,

00:14Bernard Ferrer in Central Balita.

00:19Florinda has been a pensioner of the SSS for almost 30 years.

00:23That's why when she found out about SSS Pensioners' Day,

00:26she didn't hesitate to go to the SSS main office on East Avenue in Quezon City.

00:32She immediately unveiled the free medical check-up,

00:35medication, and freebies that are given to SSS Pensioners.

00:39I'm not blaming anyone. I went here because I'm so happy.

00:44I'm so happy.

00:45And I just heard that there's an anniversary day

00:51that they're celebrating.

00:53That's why I took the opportunity.

00:56I'm happy with my life.

00:59Gilbert also went to the free medical check-up

01:02where she was also given medication for her maintenance.

01:05According to her, she plans to avail the SSS Pension Loan Program.

01:10Of course, the medicine.

01:12If I don't have the maintenance and medicine,

01:15I won't be able to go because I'm diabetic.

01:18SSS Pensioners' Day is an annual activity

01:21where SSS Pensioners' Day is celebrated.

01:23It's also part of the 67th anniversary of the SSS

01:27which is themed as SSS at 67, the return of the new Philippines.

01:32We value their contribution when they're still working

01:37in their private work.

01:41This is a very special year

01:43because we're celebrating it in 18 different locations.

01:48The SSS Kwentong Pensionado campaign was also launched

01:52in celebration of the stories and experiences of SSS pensioners.

01:55What they'll do is go to my.sss

01:59and share their story of being a pensioner

02:03in being a SSS pensioner.

02:05So there will be a grand prize winner of P67,000.

02:09The SSS Pension Loan Program was also discussed.

02:13To avail of this,

02:15the calculation is up to 12 times your monthly pension plus P1,000.

02:21Not going beyond P200,000.

02:24But there is a need in the calculation

02:28that you should have about 47.5% of your pension.

02:34For now, many have availed of the SSS Pension Loan Program

02:38that started in 2016.

02:40The SSS promised to properly manage

02:43the fund of the agency

02:45for the future and benefit of their members.
