00:01:07The competition is turned on its head.
00:01:12In cowboy country, South American style.

00:01:17Where is Thorpe?
00:01:20Some rise to meet the challenge.
00:01:22Nice shine baby.
00:01:23Argentina!
00:01:25While others are pushed to breaking point.

00:01:55Go, go, go.
00:02:26The Gaucho.
00:02:27The Argentina's answer to Hollywood's cowboys.
00:02:31But I reckon they look way better and cooler.
00:02:34Draming it up.
00:02:35Yeah.
00:02:36Hola.
00:02:37These local legends work the land in the rugged foothills of the mighty Andes.
00:02:42Which surround the magical city of Salta.
00:02:46And it's not just the mountains.
00:02:48It's the mountains.
00:02:49And it's the mountains.
00:02:50And it's the mountains.
00:02:51And it's the mountains.
00:02:52And it's the mountains.
00:02:53The magical city of Salta.
00:02:57Our ten teams have travelled 1,500 kilometres from Buenos Aires on the east coast
00:03:02to the remote top end of the country.
00:03:04In north-west Argentina local traditions run deep and go strong.
00:03:08So throw in your ponchos and giddy up
00:03:10for the second leg of the amazing race Australia.
00:03:13Gaucho golf.
00:03:14Gaucho golf.
00:03:15Go.
00:03:20Welcome to Salta la Linda.
00:03:22Taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo.
00:03:25And search for your next clue.
00:03:26Let's go.
00:03:27The remaining ten teams are leaving in the order they arrived at the previous pit stop.
00:03:31Quick.
00:03:32Boot.
00:03:34Come on.
00:03:36They're heading 1,500 metres straight up
00:03:39to the area's highest vantage point at Cerro San Bernardo.
00:03:43This spot commands breathtaking views of the entire region.
00:03:46It's also where they'll find their next clue.
00:03:49Just basing off the first race,
00:03:51we could possibly be the strongest right now.
00:03:53Pressure is on since we came first.
00:03:55However, we thrive under pressure.
00:03:56Like, I think we kind of love that there's a target on our back.
00:03:59Good driving, Eduardo.
00:04:01I know for sure Kofi and Christian are going to be strong once again.
00:04:04They know how to win.
00:04:05They're competitive.
00:04:06And so are we.
00:04:07And that's why the elite athletes are in front.
00:04:10I can actually, I can see a gondola, so do you think it's going to be that?
00:04:13The cable cars?
00:04:14Yeah, that.
00:04:15Yeah, yeah.
00:04:16A gondola.
00:04:17Yeah, not in Venice.
00:04:18Not in Venice.
00:04:24Ready?
00:04:25Yeah.
00:04:27Good start.
00:04:28Welcome to Salta la Linda.
00:04:30Travel by taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo
00:04:33and search for your next clue.
00:04:35All right, let's go, let's get a cab.
00:04:37Hola.
00:04:38Hola.
00:04:39Cerro San...
00:04:40San Bernardo.
00:04:41Yes, yes, yes.
00:04:43How long will it take to get there?
00:04:45No English.
00:04:46No English.
00:04:48There's the country singers behind us.
00:04:51The elite athletes have bloody well and truly rubbed off on us.
00:04:54Absolutely.
00:04:55We've got the caps.
00:04:56We've got the socks.
00:04:57We've got comfortable pants.
00:04:58We're not mucking about.
00:04:59Come on, athletes.
00:05:00Oh, this is very frickin' cool.
00:05:02Look at these mountains.
00:05:03I know, look.
00:05:04It kind of looks like Wang Wharf, where we live.
00:05:06This is...
00:05:07The old Wang.
00:05:08Epic, look at the mountains.
00:05:09Wow, okay, that mountain definitely is bigger than our Wang Mountain.
00:05:13Oh.
00:05:14They've got a bigger Wang.
00:05:15Mm, apparently.
00:05:18Okay, first go, go.
00:05:19Breathe.
00:05:21Feels thick.
00:05:22Travel by taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo.
00:05:25And search for your next clue.
00:05:26Let's go.
00:05:28Taxis, over here.
00:05:31Let's go.
00:05:33I feel like this isn't a very big car.
00:05:35No, I don't think we've got the roomiest vehicle, to be absolutely honest.
00:05:38The boot was full.
00:05:39The boot was full.
00:05:40There was no room in the boots.
00:05:41You know when you catch an Uber and the driver's got their golf clubs in the back?
00:05:44Yeah, that's what's happened, pretty much.
00:05:47Let's go.
00:05:48Vamos.
00:05:49Vamos.
00:05:52We are pumped.
00:05:53We're pumped.
00:05:54We've got to catch up a little bit.
00:05:55It's not how you start, it's how you finish.
00:05:56That's it, that's it.
00:05:58We don't look behind, we look in front.
00:06:00You know what I mean?
00:06:01Eyes on the goal.
00:06:03Don't look at the opposition.
00:06:05Old mate's taxi was in full throttle.
00:06:07Straight up to the top of the mountain.
00:06:09Is that the boy?
00:06:10Oh, get out of here.
00:06:12Get out.
00:06:13We're calmer today.
00:06:14We are.
00:06:15Nothing's going to, like...
00:06:16Today's a good day.
00:06:17We've got a few mantras going on.
00:06:19Calm the farm.
00:06:20Let's calm the farm.
00:06:21Just take one big breath in and refocus and keep going instead of being like...
00:06:26The only thing that is I've actually realised, we're going up a hill.
00:06:29That means heights.
00:06:30It's okay.
00:06:31We are so high right now.
00:06:32Breathe.
00:06:33Okay, you need to start breathing already because I know that this is your fear,
00:06:35so you've just got to start telling yourself some positive affirmations,
00:06:38like I've got this, I can do this.
00:06:40Yeah.
00:06:41Family means the world to both of us.
00:06:44I've only got to be upset for five minutes,
00:06:46and she's like, I'm getting on a plane.
00:06:48I'm going to be there for you.
00:06:50We're not anywhere yet, okay?
00:06:52We might be sliding down on our bums.
00:06:54It's okay, you've got this.
00:06:56I've got you.
00:06:57I love you.
00:06:58It's okay.
00:07:02Oh, this is so exciting.
00:07:03I love you.
00:07:08Scott likes it.
00:07:10When we got to the top of that mountain,
00:07:12we could see that the Tillys are there, Billy Oscar,
00:07:16Alana and Steph are there.
00:07:19Obviously, like, the other teams took the senior group.
00:07:23Look for the colours.
00:07:24Yeah.
00:07:25Oh, look out.
00:07:26Oh, hello, little one.
00:07:27Where's the box?
00:07:28Where's the clue?
00:07:29It's just here.
00:07:30Go get it, Chloe.
00:07:31Go get it.
00:07:34Over here, over here.
00:07:37Oh, nice.
00:07:38Good.
00:07:39Yeah, okay.
00:07:40Roadblock.
00:07:42One person, one person.
00:07:43Oh, okay.
00:07:45Who likes a fancy dress?
00:07:47A roadblock is a challenge that only one team member
00:07:50must complete based on a cryptic clue.
00:07:53Salta is known for its extravagant carnival celebrations
00:07:58full of heart, soul and fancy colourful costumes.
00:08:04In this challenge, teams will be tested on memory
00:08:07and attention to detail.
00:08:09Every dancer in today's performance
00:08:11has a unique pattern on their costume.
00:08:14Our teams must block out all distractions
00:08:16and find the exact match to this swatch.
00:08:20After spotting the right dancer,
00:08:21they must then memorise the medallion hung around their neck,
00:08:25point out the wrong one and it's back to the start.
00:08:29Get it right and they'll receive their next clue.
00:08:31Oh, and did I mention the only way to find the dancers
00:08:33is in a small cable car attached to a very thin wire
00:08:36going down a very, very steep mountain.
00:08:38Who likes a fancy dress, you or me?
00:08:41I'll do the fancy dress.
00:08:42You.
00:08:43Do you think?
00:08:44I'll go.
00:08:45Me more than you.
00:08:46Yeah, you go first.
00:08:47Let's go this way.
00:08:49All right, let's get a ticket.
00:08:51Don't trip.
00:08:52I'll see you later.
00:08:53See you down the bottom, yo.
00:08:55Oh, it's a good view.
00:08:56That is a great view.
00:08:57Look at that.
00:08:58We're pretty high up, aren't we?
00:09:00Look at this.
00:09:01Beautiful.
00:09:02Wish I had a bee.
00:09:03Wish I had my wife.
00:09:06Make sure you get the money, my brother.
00:09:10Let's go.
00:09:11We got this.
00:09:18There's a clue box.
00:09:22Who likes a fancy dress?
00:09:23You.
00:09:24I like a fancy dress.
00:09:25Let's go.
00:09:26I like a fancy dress.
00:09:27Where is the cable car?
00:09:28Up here.
00:09:30Is that Virgin Mary, or is it Jesus?
00:09:33No, that looks like Jesus.
00:09:35Oh, my goodness.
00:09:37What's happening?
00:09:38Close your eyes.
00:09:39I'm telling you, close your eyes.
00:09:40There's no view for you to look at.
00:09:42When you start coming off that ledge, you're like,
00:09:44oh, my God.
00:09:45My heart was just pounding like that.
00:09:47Pounding.
00:09:48Absolutely pumping.
00:09:49Oh, my God.
00:09:50Eden, do not look down on me.
00:09:51Oh, my God.
00:09:52It's really not even that high, Eden.
00:09:54All right, so stop telling me that.
00:09:56You're making me worse.
00:09:57I can see Australia from here.
00:09:59That's how high up we are.
00:10:08Whoa.
00:10:09That wasn't easy.
00:10:10All right, let's go.
00:10:12Here we go, off-ski.
00:10:14Woo!
00:10:28There's a carnival of dancers.
00:10:30Woo!
00:10:31OK.
00:10:32Where's my swatch?
00:10:33There.
00:10:35Let's go, Chloe.
00:10:36Come on.
00:10:37You got this, babe.
00:10:39Let's go.
00:10:40This looks cool.
00:10:41I'll get my swatch.
00:10:42Come on, Oscar boy.
00:10:43Let's go, Os.
00:10:44Take your time.
00:10:45Get it right.
00:10:46Come on, Oski.
00:10:47I'm an old footballer, so my memory is not great.
00:10:51Our secret weapon for the Amazing Race is my son, Oscar.
00:10:56Just not a pretty face with big teeth.
00:10:59He is fit.
00:11:01He's bilingual.
00:11:03Oui.
00:11:04Oui.
00:11:05French, that is.
00:11:06It's not that one.
00:11:07How difficult is this?
00:11:08I know.
00:11:09It must be so hard to see.
00:11:12It's probably 20, 30 dancers.
00:11:14Yeah.
00:11:15All dressed up, moving around in circles.
00:11:17Noise.
00:11:18He's moving so much, this guy.
00:11:20Yeah.
00:11:21Impossible to try and find this one person.
00:11:25I think I've got my man over there in the green pants.
00:11:30Hey.
00:11:31Can you turn me around?
00:11:43No.
00:11:44OK.
00:11:45Come on.
00:11:46Where is it?
00:11:47Where is it?
00:11:48Where is it?
00:11:49OK.
00:11:50OK, you're OK.
00:11:51Who likes a fancy dress?
00:11:52I'll do it.
00:11:53You're going to do it?
00:11:54I promise I'll do it.
00:11:55You like a fancy dress.
00:11:56I love a fancy dress.
00:11:57Let's do it.
00:11:58Let's go.
00:11:59This is the very top.
00:12:00OK, if you don't want to look out, don't look out, OK?
00:12:03I am petrified of heights.
00:12:06I cannot even walk across the Harbour Bridge.
00:12:09I can't.
00:12:10I can't.
00:12:11I can't.
00:12:12I can't.
00:12:13I can't.
00:12:14I cannot even walk across the Harbour Bridge.
00:12:16And that's not over the bridge.
00:12:17This is just walking across the bridge.
00:12:19I'm doing it.
00:12:20This is what we're going to do, OK?
00:12:22We've got this.
00:12:23I'm doing it.
00:12:24I'm doing it.
00:12:25I'm doing it.
00:12:26I'm doing it.
00:12:27Oh, my goodness.
00:12:28OK, baby, you're OK.
00:12:29You're OK.
00:12:30You'll be fine.
00:12:31Nothing can happen.
00:12:32Just when we're on it, why don't you just look at me the whole way?
00:12:34We're just going to go for a nice little ride.
00:12:36It's going to be quiet.
00:12:37Everybody's so nice.
00:12:38OK, guys.
00:12:39Good luck.
00:12:40Oh, my god.
00:12:41I see you.
00:12:43Look at me.
00:12:44Look at me right now.
00:12:45You're safe, and you're happy, and you're well.
00:12:47You're safe.
00:12:54I couldn't even feel my hands.
00:12:58Breathe.
00:13:00It was hard for Mel to stop panicking.
00:13:02Like, it just kind of kept rising and rising and rising.
00:13:07You've got this, Mel.
00:13:09I know.
00:13:10I know.
00:13:12I need to do this, or we go home.
00:13:23Do we stop?
00:13:24Does it stop?
00:13:25No, you've got to get on.
00:13:26Oh, my god.
00:13:27I need to do this, or we go home.
00:13:30Oh, my hand.
00:13:31Look at me.
00:13:32Look at me.
00:13:33This is the most amazing experience, experience, and I've got you.
00:13:39We're going to go over the edge.
00:13:41We're not going over the edge.
00:13:42We're looking out to the scenery.
00:13:43We're looking out to the scenery.
00:13:44It's beautiful.
00:13:45It's amazing.
00:13:46We're on top of the world, OK?
00:13:48We're OK.
00:13:49I promise.
00:13:50I promise you're OK.
00:13:54You never want to see someone that you love and care for being
00:13:57so emotional and so fearful.
00:14:03I promise you're OK, OK?
00:14:07This is the once in a lifetime that we get to experience this together,
00:14:10all right?
00:14:12Oh, my god.
00:14:13It's OK.
00:14:14It's OK.
00:14:15It's OK, baby.
00:14:16It's OK.
00:14:17Breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe.
00:14:19It's beautiful, Mel.
00:14:20Oh, my god.
00:14:21Have a look.
00:14:22Have a look.
00:14:23You're already on here.
00:14:24You're already doing this.
00:14:25You're doing this right now.
00:14:26Take a look.
00:14:27Look.
00:14:28Look how lucky you are.
00:14:30I definitely would not have done it without Nat.
00:14:33Like, there is no way in the world.
00:14:36It's so beautiful.
00:14:38Yeah.
00:14:39Oh, thank you.
00:14:40Jesus, I thought I was going to die.
00:14:44Uno, dos, tres.
00:14:54Go, chef!
00:14:55Got this, Ben!
00:14:56That's it!
00:14:58Take down Ausk.
00:14:59Come on, Ausky.
00:15:01See you after.
00:15:04Shots are off to 60.
00:15:06Come on, Chloe!
00:15:07Come on, come on, come on!
00:15:09Carnival colors, chaos.
00:15:10This is the job for her.
00:15:12Details, details.
00:15:13Let's go, Chloe!
00:15:17I find the swatch the next step.
00:15:20I'm looking for the neck medallion.
00:15:22Pink, pink and blue medallion.
00:15:25And I'm thinking to myself, I finally got this.
00:15:27Come on!
00:15:28Yes, Chloe!
00:15:30No.
00:15:33Backdrop over here.
00:15:35Yep, there it is.
00:15:36Go!
00:15:37Once everyone caught up, everyone was there, struggling.
00:15:42I was just watching him the whole time and he had his game face on.
00:15:45He just zooms in.
00:15:48It's like...
00:15:54Yeah.
00:16:00That's it, Ben!
00:16:01That's it, baby!
00:16:12Gracias, amigos!
00:16:14Awesome, baby!
00:16:19Come from behind, got in front.
00:16:24Game time, baby!
00:16:27Nice one, Ben.
00:16:29Detour.
00:16:32And choose your detour.
00:16:34Strong stomach or soft touch?
00:16:36A detour is a choice between two challenges,
00:16:38each with its own pros and cons.
00:16:41In this detour, teams must choose
00:16:43between strong stomach or soft touch.
00:16:46And there are limited spaces in each,
00:16:48so it's first come, first served.
00:16:50In the state province of Salta,
00:16:52there is a local delicacy that takes six hours to cook
00:16:55and some of the lucky teams will have it all to themselves.
00:16:58It's a cow.
00:16:59Well, it was a cow.
00:17:01Teams that choose strong stomach
00:17:03will be served the Argentine gastronomic delight
00:17:06known as capisar guatiana,
00:17:08or cow's head cooked underground.
00:17:12Our chefs will lovingly plate up the feast
00:17:15and both team members must eat the whole head,
00:17:17including delicacies such as the cheeks, tongue and eyeballs.
00:17:22When everything has been devoured, they'll receive their next clue.
00:17:28Goats are big around here.
00:17:30You've got goat milk, goat cheese.
00:17:32It is all at your fingertips.
00:17:33Now, milking them, they don't make it easy for you.
00:17:35That's why I've got Jan and Jack here, the locals, to help me out.
00:17:38But I've milked goats all over the world.
00:17:40I know what I'm doing.
00:17:42It's got to be soft touch.
00:17:44Soft touch like that.
00:17:46This one.
00:17:47This later one.
00:17:48It's just like that.
00:17:50This one's not ready.
00:17:53In this challenge,
00:17:54teams must choose their favourite goat and get to work.
00:17:57Once they've successfully extracted at least two kilos of milk,
00:18:01they'll receive their next clue.
00:18:03Straight from the source.
00:18:05Mmm. Mmm-mmm.
00:18:08Oh, it's the milk.
00:18:10Eat. Eat.
00:18:11We're eating. We're eating.
00:18:12Let's go.
00:18:13We said that I'd do the driving,
00:18:14just cos he's done more driving around the world than I have.
00:18:18Derecho. Dirección.
00:18:20Derecho. All the way down.
00:18:22Left. Gracias, amigo.
00:18:24Obviously, that language barrier there was always going to be a thing for us.
00:18:28Hola.
00:18:29Do you know where Vaqueros is?
00:18:31But we're housers from Western Sydney,
00:18:33and good energy is our language.
00:18:35I follow you.
00:18:37You go, go, go, go.
00:18:38Gracias. Gracias, amigo.
00:18:40We're following the silver car.
00:18:42I said, can you tell us where this is?
00:18:44And he pretty much said, follow him.
00:18:45Yeah, yeah, yeah. He knows what's going on.
00:18:47He's from here.
00:18:48We're just going to put our trust in him.
00:18:50Nice sign, baby.
00:18:51Argentina!
00:18:55Look at the right thing. Bloody hell.
00:18:58I went past him, and I'm like, it's that one, obviously, but I can't tell him.
00:19:02So, no, no, not you.
00:19:04Come on!
00:19:06Where is it?
00:19:07Have you got any clue?
00:19:09No.
00:19:11Steph!
00:19:12Look!
00:19:14Come on.
00:19:15Come on, Steph! Come on, Steph!
00:19:17Me and Steph were complete opposites in so many ways.
00:19:21Like, I toured the world DJing, in the clubs,
00:19:24but she could live isolated on a farm.
00:19:28I could just lie on the grass, looking at the sky.
00:19:32No, I'm not seeing you.
00:19:33And we understand each other's strengths and weaknesses.
00:19:38Steph is, can I say?
00:19:41What? I don't even know.
00:19:42Legally blind.
00:19:43I'm not legally blind.
00:19:44I'm close to legally blind.
00:19:46Close, close to legally blind.
00:19:48But I'm wearing contact lenses.
00:19:50Stephanie can't, she can't see.
00:19:52She's, like, blind.
00:19:54Steph, look at other people when they're looking.
00:19:57Look at them.
00:19:58I'm definitely worried that Steph might not be able to see the patterns.
00:20:03This could take forever.
00:20:05It's like finding a needle in a haystack.
00:20:08Ah!
00:20:15Yes!
00:20:16Thank you, boss.
00:20:17Appreciate it.
00:20:18Yeah!
00:20:19Woohoo!
00:20:20Come on, good job.
00:20:22Four.
00:20:23Four.
00:20:24OK, is that one?
00:20:25Thank you, brother.
00:20:26Good man.
00:20:27Yeah!
00:20:28He's got it, he's got it, he's got it!
00:20:30Come on!
00:20:32Come on!
00:20:35Let's go.
00:20:36Detour.
00:20:37Strong stomach or soft touch?
00:20:39We're milking.
00:20:40We're milking.
00:20:41We've both got strong stomachs.
00:20:42We can do that.
00:20:43Let's go milking.
00:20:44Go!
00:20:45Come on.
00:20:46Remember, drive on the right side of the road, OK?
00:20:48I got it.
00:20:49We are on our way to potentially eat something disgusting.
00:20:53Los Moles.
00:20:54Oh, yeah, right here, right here.
00:20:55No, you're going left.
00:20:56You're going in the...
00:20:57Right.
00:20:58You said right here.
00:20:59No, you're on the wrong side of the road.
00:21:00Just quick, get over.
00:21:01Just go over.
00:21:02Indicate.
00:21:03There's a car.
00:21:07You've got the windscreen wipers going.
00:21:09This has happened to us before.
00:21:13Right, there it is.
00:21:14Baguero!
00:21:19Strong stomach.
00:21:21Strong stomach it is.
00:21:26Hola, amigo.
00:21:27All right, what are we eating?
00:21:29We're Pacific Islanders.
00:21:31We cook like this in the ground, in the umu,
00:21:33wrap it in leaves, very similar.
00:21:35That looks like a horse head.
00:21:36OK.
00:21:37Horse or cow?
00:21:38Cow.
00:21:39Cow.
00:21:40Oh, this is beautiful.
00:21:44Oh, yeah, it's game time.
00:21:46I reckon they're giving the tongue, the tongue and that.
00:21:49Yes.
00:21:54That's the eyeball.
00:21:55We're going to eat the eyes first because we've got to keep the eyes on the prize.
00:21:59That's right, that's right.
00:22:00That's a lot of meat.
00:22:02Where's that eyeball?
00:22:06We just ate the eyeballs.
00:22:07Eyeballs are easy.
00:22:09In our culture, we don't like to waste food.
00:22:12So every little thing that we can get off the bone, that's us.
00:22:16We'll be all right.
00:22:17Don't know about the rest of them.
00:22:19We're going with a strong stomach.
00:22:21OK, we're going strong stomach?
00:22:23Yeah, I don't think we can do that.
00:22:25Strong stomach.
00:22:26If we're on a farm, it's going to be something.
00:22:29Animals, isn't it?
00:22:30Maybe we're going to eat a fellow contestant.
00:22:32It's the AFL crew, it's the AFL crew.
00:22:34My brother and Sam.
00:22:35Hello, boys.
00:22:36I hope you're hungry.
00:22:38Oh, it's massive.
00:22:39Spear bucket, that's always a must.
00:22:41They're from Melbourne, mate.
00:22:42They're used to nice, proper cafes and this and that.
00:22:45Coffee.
00:22:46Coffee.
00:22:47Can I get a latte with this?
00:22:49I don't think they've got it in them.
00:22:51Oh, shit.
00:22:53What is that?
00:22:54Yeah, it's a cow's head.
00:22:56A cow's head?
00:22:57A cow's head.
00:22:58A cow's head is massive.
00:23:00A dinosaur.
00:23:01Massive.
00:23:02A dinosaur's head.
00:23:03He pulled it apart.
00:23:05Oh, yeah.
00:23:06Hello.
00:23:07And he pulled the actual jaw off.
00:23:11Yuck.
00:23:13Oh, what's that one?
00:23:14Eyeball.
00:23:15Eyeball.
00:23:17I'm not that hungry anymore.
00:23:18Of course you are, boy.
00:23:19Of course you are.
00:23:20Look at the shape of the horse's head.
00:23:21I feel like I'm in the Godfather.
00:23:24It's rather large.
00:23:25That's nice.
00:23:28Oh, the tongue.
00:23:31There's tongue.
00:23:34Oh, it's got eyelashes.
00:23:35Do I have to eat eyelashes?
00:23:39I think we'll just get the kingfish sashimi if that's okay.
00:23:51When in Rome, eat a cow's head with the eyeball.
00:23:55All right, let's go the grim stuff, the eyes first.
00:23:58Huh?
00:23:59Good idea.
00:24:04Yeah.
00:24:06All right, just do it.
00:24:13It's like I'm eating Gene Simmons.
00:24:20About your time.
00:24:22You know what I'm thinking of now?
00:24:25Milk and a cow.
00:24:27Yep.
00:24:28Soft touch.
00:24:29Let's go, let's go.
00:24:31We have to fill out a bucket?
00:24:32Yep.
00:24:33Oh, we'd like to milk a goat.
00:24:34Soft touch.
00:24:35Soft touch.
00:24:36Let's go.
00:24:37We're going to milk the goat.
00:24:38We're going to milk the goat.
00:24:39And I'm going to hold the horns.
00:24:41He's going to milk the goat.
00:24:42I want it here and I want it there.
00:24:48You must first grab her by the horns firmly.
00:24:50Yep.
00:24:51And then bend your body forwards.
00:24:52Yes.
00:24:53Walk her.
00:24:54She might pull back.
00:24:55Okay.
00:24:56Come on, come on.
00:24:57Come on, darling.
00:24:58Good girl.
00:24:59I like goats.
00:25:00I like goats.
00:25:01Let's goat.
00:25:02Let's goat.
00:25:03Bah.
00:25:04Bah.
00:25:05That's a bad joke.
00:25:06Aren't they farmers, Dolph?
00:25:07Who, Brooke and Adam?
00:25:08Yeah, Brooke and Adam.
00:25:09Come on, girl.
00:25:10Being country music singers, people just assume that we know how to milk goats and ride horses.
00:25:15It's a bit hard to get it out.
00:25:18And both of those are zero.
00:25:20We write songs for people who do that.
00:25:22Yes.
00:25:23Yeah.
00:25:24Oh, we're going to milk a goat.
00:25:27Yeah.
00:25:29Oh, I must be out of breath.
00:25:35You've got to go, Nat.
00:25:37Kate, look at Cyril.
00:25:39Kate, look at.
00:25:40Go, Kate.
00:25:41Keep going, Crystal.
00:25:43Surf.
00:25:44Puppy.
00:25:45So I had the guy in my sight, but the problem became I couldn't see the medallion.
00:25:52I'm going to say it's this one.
00:25:55No.
00:25:56Hang in there.
00:25:57So we had a couple of attempts.
00:26:00Third time, we really start to panic and we're starting to crumble.
00:26:05But then I spot what I needed to spot.
00:26:09Come on.
00:26:15Ah, Cyril.
00:26:17I'm so happy.
00:26:19Go, go, go, go.
00:26:21Strong stomach.
00:26:22Let's do it.
00:26:23Come on, Nat.
00:26:27Ah, thank you.
00:26:28You're welcome.
00:26:29I love you.
00:26:30I love you.
00:26:32All right, detour.
00:26:34Strong stomach or soft touch.
00:26:36Oh, my God.
00:26:37OK, let's do strong stomach.
00:26:38I'm saying stomach.
00:26:40Strong touch, stomach.
00:26:41Strong stomach.
00:26:42Self-drive.
00:26:43Oh, my God.
00:26:44To be la hula, driving on the wrong side of the road, is very strange.
00:26:49OK, that's the windscreen wipers.
00:26:51That's the blinkers.
00:26:52So everything's on the opposite side.
00:26:54You've got to really concentrate.
00:26:56Just one way, mate.
00:26:57Shit.
00:27:00Make nice directions, mate.
00:27:04I can't even, like, I literally...
00:27:09OK, look at this, look at this, look at this green sign.
00:27:11Vaqueros, Vaqueros.
00:27:13The sign, go straight there.
00:27:14He, he, where, he?
00:27:15Look at that sign, Vaqueros, straight there.
00:27:17There, there, there, go there, down, down, down.
00:27:19Go straight there, here.
00:27:20Go straight here.
00:27:21Perfect.
00:27:22Ooh, roundabout.
00:27:24Roundabout, any roundabouts?
00:27:27What does that say?
00:27:28I just can't...
00:27:29Up there, up there, Vasqueros.
00:27:30Right, right, just here, right here, straight up.
00:27:32Yep, yep, yep, Vasqueros.
00:27:34So I think we just did the right turn that we were supposed to.
00:27:36Oh, my gosh.
00:27:38Any teams behind us?
00:27:39Can you see any of the cars?
00:27:40I haven't seen anybody around us.
00:27:43I'm still so confident that we're going in the right direction.
00:27:46I just had to basically trust where we're going and keep driving.
00:27:50That was a mistake.
00:27:51It seems to be, we're driving a long way.
00:27:55Can I get a Shiraz?
00:27:56A wine?
00:27:57A wine?
00:27:58Wine?
00:27:59Oh, sorry.
00:28:00No?
00:28:01Would be a good idea, right?
00:28:02Yes.
00:28:03It would be very, very nice.
00:28:04A Pez would...
00:28:05Yeah.
00:28:06Yeah, very nice.
00:28:07Nice red.
00:28:08Nice Malbec.
00:28:09Yeah.
00:28:11What is this?
00:28:12Oh, we're getting full.
00:28:15The amount, though, it's catching up.
00:28:17I've hit the brick wall, for sure.
00:28:20I want to keep this lead.
00:28:22Let's go.
00:28:23Once the fat starts to really get cold, it gets a bit gooey.
00:28:28But my eye was on the prize and we had to soldier through.
00:28:32I reckon we're done.
00:28:33I reckon we're done.
00:28:37It was very yummy.
00:28:38It was beautiful.
00:28:39Do you have dessert?
00:28:40Okay.
00:28:42Yes.
00:28:44Gracias, amigo.
00:28:45Very beautiful.
00:28:46Very good.
00:28:47You know what, I'll take some for the road.
00:28:48Let's go, let's go.
00:28:49See you, mate.
00:28:50Well done.
00:28:51Well done, boys.
00:28:52See you on the other side, guys.
00:28:53Well done.
00:28:55Make your way to Finca Lesa Horse Ranch.
00:29:00We all know the cowboys of the Wild West,
00:29:02but the cowboys of Argentina are another level.
00:29:05The Gaucho have a very long and proud history
00:29:07and they sit up on those horses like they're sitting on an armchair.
00:29:11They make it look very easy, which it is not.
00:29:15Am I still alive?
00:29:16I'm still alive.
00:29:18One more time, cowboy!
00:29:24See how we park the car at the front here, lads?
00:29:26Yes, yes, baby.
00:29:27Quick getaway.
00:29:28I see you, I see you.
00:29:29Let's go.
00:29:30Let's urge.
00:29:31You need to unlock me.
00:29:32Nah, nah, I'm not going with you anymore.
00:29:39Strong stomach.
00:29:40Let's do it.
00:29:42Yeah, wash your hands.
00:29:44Ready for some delicious, nutritious,
00:29:47probably going to be a little suspicious.
00:29:49Confirmed.
00:29:50Snacks.
00:29:51I do self life saving.
00:29:52I think I do okay with high pressure situations.
00:29:54Oh, turn around.
00:29:58Then there's Lily from social media
00:30:00who likes to be in control of her life.
00:30:03This will definitely test us.
00:30:06Oh my God, that's a head, that's a head, that's a head.
00:30:10And it's about three, four times the size of mine.
00:30:17This was a mistake.
00:30:19Beef tea.
00:30:20It's exciting.
00:30:25It's meat.
00:30:28Meat?
00:30:29Only meat?
00:30:30Yeah.
00:30:37Typically I'm an eye fillet, medium rare gal at a restaurant.
00:30:43It's tough.
00:30:44Not the whole skeleton plonked in front of me.
00:30:49Can't do this.
00:30:53I can literally smell its breath.
00:30:55I can smell its breath.
00:30:57Well, we're eating its tongue, so.
00:30:59Oh, sorry.
00:31:02Oh my God, that is so much food.
00:31:10I can't.
00:31:14I can see it's 24 molars sitting in front of me
00:31:17and he just broke its jaw.
00:31:22Oh my God, that's so much.
00:31:24I was just weighing it up.
00:31:25I was also obviously thinking about the charity
00:31:27and I felt like if we took the time penalty
00:31:29that was going to potentially lead to an elimination for us.
00:31:32Okay, well, I won't be able to eat that by myself.
00:31:35Do you want to take the time penalty?
00:31:36I don't know what to do.
00:31:39You have to either finish the detour
00:31:40or serve a one hour time penalty at the pit stop.
00:31:45How beautiful is this bridge?
00:31:47I brought you here on our date night.
00:31:49To the eyeball and tongue.
00:31:52This tongue's never ending.
00:31:55The most offensive thing is just when I get a whiff.
00:31:59What vitamins does this have for us?
00:32:03Do you want to take the time penalty?
00:32:04I don't know what to do.
00:32:06Call it what you know.
00:32:07Do you want to call it?
00:32:08No, we can.
00:32:09We can take the time penalty.
00:32:10Babe, listen, listen.
00:32:12Babe, listen, listen.
00:32:14We can take the time penalty.
00:32:17We can take it.
00:32:18No, I can't.
00:32:19That's not even meat.
00:32:21What is this?
00:32:22We can take the time penalty, babe.
00:32:24Do you want to do it?
00:32:25It doesn't matter.
00:32:26It doesn't matter.
00:32:29It doesn't matter.
00:32:30Make the decision, babe.
00:32:31Honestly.
00:32:32I don't want to make it.
00:32:33I don't know what the right thing to do is
00:32:35and I don't want to make the wrong decision.
00:32:36Yeah, unfortunately, neither of us do.
00:32:38We'll call it, okay?
00:32:40Okay.
00:32:41I just feel so out of my depths here
00:32:43and it was not going to happen for me.
00:32:48We're taking the time penalty.
00:32:49We're going to take the time penalty.
00:32:51I just felt just really like I'd let you down.
00:32:54I felt like I'd let the charity down.
00:32:55Thank you so much.
00:32:56I hope that we made the right decision.
00:32:59All right, route info.
00:33:00Saddle up, take the reins and perform as guachos
00:33:03to earn your next clue.
00:33:05Okay.
00:33:06You horse, we'll go this way.
00:33:08Cowboy's in the back.
00:33:09Now it's time to show the world the fraud you are.
00:33:16Here they are.
00:33:18What's that?
00:33:20Intersection.
00:33:21We have to partner up.
00:33:22An intersection is a task the two teams must complete together.
00:33:26Once they've paired up, they must choose their favourite gaucho
00:33:30who'll teach them a specific riding formation and routine.
00:33:35When the teams are confident they've mastered the required moves,
00:33:38they'll perform in front of the head gaucho.
00:33:41Pass and they'll receive their next clue.
00:33:44The day we make a lead, we have to get an intersection.
00:33:47We're going to have to wait for another team.
00:33:50We have to think what team we're going to pick
00:33:52or should we just go with the first team that comes in?
00:33:55I reckon the chillies.
00:33:56If it's the chillies, then we're good.
00:33:59Imagine if that food is so bad and no one can stomach it.
00:34:01Imagine if people are just like throwing up all over each other
00:34:03and they can't stomach anything.
00:34:05I think that's two litres.
00:34:07Pretty close.
00:34:08Maybe not, we'll just have a check.
00:34:09No, a little bit more.
00:34:10I reckon we're halfway.
00:34:13Strong stomach, this way.
00:34:16They're full.
00:34:18So strong stomach is done, we're soft touch.
00:34:20So let's do the goats.
00:34:21By the time we arrived, strong stomach, it was actually full.
00:34:26Damn it, it's full.
00:34:27Now we're going to do the soft touch.
00:34:28I was spewing when I saw that because I was like,
00:34:31I don't like animals.
00:34:33This is good fun.
00:34:35I hate animals.
00:34:37They smell funny.
00:34:44They stink like that.
00:34:46Sorrel doesn't like animals.
00:34:50We're going to be here for ages.
00:34:51We'll have to show this again.
00:34:53God.
00:34:56Hold both its horns, Sorrel.
00:34:58Do you want to milk it?
00:34:59I'll milk it.
00:35:00Do you want to milk it?
00:35:01Take your time.
00:35:02Take your time and they'll settle down.
00:35:05If it shits on me, Eden.
00:35:08I can't, I can't, Eden.
00:35:09I can't, I can't.
00:35:10I barely even knew how to breastfeed my own son,
00:35:12let alone, you know, trying to milk a goat.
00:35:14Put your left leg up, the left leg up.
00:35:17Hold the horns, Sorrel.
00:35:19That's clever, man.
00:35:20God, I need more height.
00:35:21You do this.
00:35:23Do you think I want to do this?
00:35:24Well, it's similar to what you do at home,
00:35:26so yeah, you could do it, really.
00:35:31Here comes someone.
00:35:32Here comes someone.
00:35:34Yee-haw!
00:35:35Hopefully it's Achilles.
00:35:39Jet and Lily.
00:35:40Hola, amigos.
00:35:41Yee-haw!
00:35:42Hola.
00:35:43We have a little intersection.
00:35:45Oh, James!
00:35:46How'd you go?
00:35:47We took a time penalty.
00:35:49Yeah, couldn't have.
00:35:50Took a time penalty.
00:35:51I couldn't.
00:35:52You just got that time penalty,
00:35:53so the quicker we get out of here,
00:35:54the quicker you get to the map.
00:35:56Yeah, yeah, keen.
00:35:57Let's go intersection.
00:35:58Here we go, here we go.
00:35:59Here we go, here we go.
00:36:00We're on.
00:36:01Hola.
00:36:02Hola.
00:36:03Hola.
00:36:04Welcome to Pincabecer.
00:36:08So, you have to choose one gaucho.
00:36:10He's going to explain you how to ride a horse.
00:36:12I'm going to go with Uncle.
00:36:13Uncle, the blue there.
00:36:14He's got the most knowledge.
00:36:16I think he's the one.
00:36:18I've not ridden a horse before.
00:36:20I was...
00:36:21I was going to be a jockey,
00:36:22but I was bigger than the jockeys when I was born.
00:36:27One, two, three.
00:36:30Hey, there you go.
00:36:40Hey, he's off.
00:36:42Nice.
00:36:43He's talking to old mate.
00:36:45Yeah, we're struggling here.
00:36:48Mate, the faster we get these done,
00:36:50the faster we get these fat bastards off us.
00:36:57Tight.
00:37:00Can someone translate?
00:37:02Without knowing Spanish,
00:37:04this challenge is definitely harder
00:37:06than I anticipated it was going to be.
00:37:09So, to turn.
00:37:10Yeah, I got you.
00:37:11Pull the reins left and right.
00:37:12I got you.
00:37:13You're going the wrong way.
00:37:14Pull it, pull it.
00:37:15Why is he going backwards?
00:37:17I don't understand what you're saying.
00:37:20So, you're going around that left hay bar.
00:37:22This one?
00:37:23Yeah.
00:37:24Oh, shit.
00:37:25So, Lil, Lil, listen.
00:37:27When you pull it back, the horse is going to stop.
00:37:29Yeah.
00:37:30So, give it a little kick.
00:37:31Now, kick it.
00:37:32Give it a little kick, babe.
00:37:33I got a bad one, man.
00:37:34Babe, give it a little kick.
00:37:35I am kicking it.
00:37:40Just need to calm.
00:37:42Yes.
00:37:43Calm.
00:37:44I'm calm.
00:37:45Calm.
00:37:46Really feel like we've gone too far,
00:37:47but I don't know where we could have turned.
00:37:49No, no, no, no.
00:37:50I feel like we are so wrong.
00:37:52Do you want to turn back?
00:37:53I don't know.
00:37:54But even turning back, I don't know where we are now.
00:37:56Like, I'm getting really lost.
00:37:58My gut instinct was saying we are on the wrong path.
00:38:01There was no other street signs or directions to a detour.
00:38:06Finca La Huala.
00:38:08Holy shit.
00:38:09In the town of Buckworth.
00:38:11Five minutes?
00:38:12Ten minutes?
00:38:13Una hora.
00:38:14One hour?
00:38:15Another hour?
00:38:16Back that way?
00:38:17Si.
00:38:18Holy shit.
00:38:25Chloe, you're doing great.
00:38:26The main thing is do not let that mother trucker tip over.
00:38:29Be careful of that milk, hon.
00:38:31Watch it.
00:38:33Put it safe.
00:38:34Keep squeezing that tit, puppy.
00:38:38Hey, good girl.
00:38:40Good on you, puppy.
00:38:42You are crushing it.
00:38:43You are the world's best goat milker I've ever seen in my life.
00:38:46So you have to massage the teat to get the ducks flowing.
00:38:49Ducks?
00:38:50The ducks.
00:38:51Ducks.
00:38:52Goats.
00:38:53No, the ducks and the teat.
00:38:54Oh, my God.
00:38:56You want to be a mother soon.
00:38:57I don't know, goats.
00:38:59Babies have ducks?
00:39:01Ducks.
00:39:02What?
00:39:03What the?
00:39:04I think we're good.
00:39:05Yep.
00:39:06When Misha has your baby, you'll find out what ducks are.
00:39:09Please, please, please.
00:39:10Pray for two litres, Chloe.
00:39:12Okay.
00:39:13I think we're going to be good.
00:39:14I think we're going to be good.
00:39:15Oh, my God.
00:39:16Yes.
00:39:17So proud of you.
00:39:18Yes.
00:39:19Yes.
00:39:20Come on.
00:39:22Smashed it.
00:39:23Muchas gracias.
00:39:25Come on.
00:39:26Come on, please.
00:39:27Muchas gracias.
00:39:28Other teams actually do two litres.
00:39:30Yes, they do.
00:39:31Come on.
00:39:32Don't worry about it.
00:39:33Let's do it.
00:39:34Honestly, you saved us.
00:39:35You are the goat.
00:39:36Come on.
00:39:37Okay.
00:39:38Ready?
00:39:39Come on.
00:39:40Ready?
00:39:41Make your way to Fickle Less Horse Ranch.
00:39:42And perform as Garchos to earn your next clue.
00:39:45Oh, let's go.
00:39:47Come on.
00:39:48Let's go.
00:39:49Have you ever ridden a horse?
00:39:50I'm not good at it.
00:39:52I can do a little bit.
00:39:53Calm it down.
00:39:54I've never done it.
00:39:56I'm good at betting on them.
00:40:01Okay.
00:40:02Vamos.
00:40:03Vamos.
00:40:04Yeah.
00:40:05Fuente, fuente.
00:40:06Yeah.
00:40:07I'm getting the hang of this, I think.
00:40:09It's all about the vibes with the horse.
00:40:11I think they just, they feel your energy.
00:40:13You're on the way, Logan, to get judged.
00:40:14Let's go.
00:40:15Let's get this.
00:40:16Okay, I've got this.
00:40:17Oh, look at these hats.
00:40:18You look good, mate.
00:40:22Look at this.
00:40:24This is so cool.
00:40:27Stop, stop.
00:40:30Now wait for the judge.
00:40:36See.
00:40:41Had to perform it without mistake.
00:40:43We're on here.
00:40:44It's OJ.
00:40:45Honestly, Bam Bam knew what was going on.
00:40:47Here we go, here we go.
00:40:49We're going into the middle.
00:40:50He's obviously got the moves in the UFC ring.
00:40:52He had the moves up on the horse as well.
00:40:54Stop.
00:40:55Turning, turning, turning.
00:40:56Okay.
00:40:57Nice.
00:40:58Nice.
00:41:08All right.
00:41:09Turns out we were spinning our horses the wrong way.
00:41:13Try again?
00:41:14Yep.
00:41:15Again?
00:41:16Let's go.
00:41:17Okay.
00:41:19Don't you need to ask me?
00:41:21Mm.
00:41:22Fat doesn't need any more fat.
00:41:24After eating a kilo of cow's head today,
00:41:27I'm not going to eat cow or beef for about two or three days.
00:41:32Can you see your mouth?
00:41:34Okay.
00:41:35Oh, good man.
00:41:37Because now I'm even burping.
00:41:41What did you smell?
00:41:43Oh, can we wrap this up?
00:41:46Oh, that's the worst one ever.
00:41:49Oh, no.
00:41:50Performers' gut chores to earn your next clue.
00:41:53Beautiful.
00:41:54Let's go.
00:41:56I've eaten cow's head all around the world, to be honest.
00:41:58This is the first time in Argentina, though.
00:41:59Yes, yes.
00:42:00And this is, I've got to say, the finest I've had.
00:42:07Oh.
00:42:10I mean, the ambience could be nicer.
00:42:13This is Bridge, my beautiful wife.
00:42:15She vomited like a lady.
00:42:18Pardon me.
00:42:21You're so refined.
00:42:22And when I take her to a restaurant,
00:42:24I know that she can vomit into a bucket quietly.
00:42:31Can you do it off the table, please?
00:42:32Sorry.
00:42:33Maybe keep the bucket on your lap.
00:42:38I just wanted to let the chefs know they did a great job.
00:42:40You've cooked it perfectly.
00:42:43OK.
00:42:45They may disagree.
00:42:46Babe, babe, not on the table.
00:42:49Sorry, I didn't know it was coming up.
00:42:51You've got to, like, do a swift move,
00:42:53like, you know, like, just flick of the neck, right?
00:42:56Flick of the neck to the left, and you vomit off the table.
00:43:00I've had so much fat built up in there, I can't get it down.
00:43:06So I've got the whole freaking head in my stomach right now.
00:43:09Lily and Jet, they dipped out of the challenge.
00:43:12I think it might have been the right choice,
00:43:14cos I don't know if I can continue.
00:43:20What?
00:43:24Can we move tables?
00:43:30I don't think I can... I can't eat any more.
00:43:32You're saying you can't eat it.
00:43:34I can eat a little bit more, but...
00:43:36A little bit, but all of it?
00:43:37I got to the stage where I was envious of the choice that Lily made.
00:43:40We should have taken the time penalty with them.
00:43:42Why are we doing this?
00:43:45I don't know. I'm thinking, is it worth it at all?
00:43:49Yes, it is. $100,000 for our charity.
00:43:52This is what it... It's worth it.
00:43:54Salvos Melbourne 614 helps people who are experiencing homelessness.
00:43:59Come on, do it.
00:44:01Like, $100,000 would be able to feed so many homeless people.
00:44:05That's a good motivation.
00:44:08OK, congratulations.
00:44:11That was really hard.
00:44:13I don't think I can run off.
00:44:15Congrats.
00:44:17Thank you very much. Thank you.
00:44:19Thank you so much.
00:44:20Can we book in for next Saturday?
00:44:22All right. Yeah, bye-bye.
00:44:25Let's do it, sweetie.
00:44:26Saddle up and take your eyes off the ball.
00:44:28As gauchos. Gauchos?
00:44:30Gauchos. I'm sure they like the cowboys.
00:44:32You love a cowboy. Let's go.
00:44:37So the last turn was meant to be a left-hand turn.
00:44:39And we went back and did it again.
00:44:41Stop, stop. To the left. Harder.
00:44:44Come on.
00:44:48Stop. Let's go.
00:44:56Gracias, baby.
00:44:58Well done, guys. Gracias, amigo.
00:45:00We love you. See you. Love you, guys.
00:45:02Gracias. Thanks for working together.
00:45:05Here we go.
00:45:07Drive to Deep Campo Alegre.
00:45:10And search for Bo at the pit stop.
00:45:13Here we are at Campo Alegre,
00:45:15which means the happy land.
00:45:17This stunning area of Argentina,
00:45:19nestled at the edge of the Andes,
00:45:21is where this majestic mountain range meets the water.
00:45:24It's also part of the Real Inca Trail,
00:45:26and it's the epic location where teams will need to find me
00:45:29for the pit stop, second leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:45:33Joining me today is local gauchita, Paz.
00:45:36Do you ride horses? Yes, I come.
00:45:38Yeah, I rode the horse today. You?
00:45:40Yeah, like a gaucho.
00:45:42Yeah.
00:45:43I hope the last team may be eliminated.
00:45:45All right, let's go.
00:45:46We're good as a team. OK, let's go.
00:45:48But as soon as that challenge is over, it's back on your own.
00:45:53Oh, my God.
00:45:54If we don't get eliminated today, I'll be so amazed.
00:45:59Knowing that we had that time penalty,
00:46:01we knew we had to get to the pit stop pretty fast.
00:46:04Yeah, who knows? It'll be a waiting game.
00:46:11Slow down, Mel.
00:46:13Yeah, I think that means...
00:46:15Oh, yeah, finca, finca! It says finca.
00:46:17Finca la juela!
00:46:19There are other teams, right?
00:46:21Is there other teams?
00:46:22We're calm today.
00:46:23Hi, ladies. Hi.
00:46:25It's tough. We've been here for ages.
00:46:28Yeah, it took us a long, long time.
00:46:31This has just been two days,
00:46:32and you and I have done so many things
00:46:34we probably would never have done in our whole life.
00:46:36Ever.
00:46:37You're doing well, honey. I'm really proud of you.
00:46:38Keep going, keep going.
00:46:39You need to overcome your fears.
00:46:41She rode a horse.
00:46:42She could actually be a farmer, like she could be.
00:46:45She was a natural.
00:46:47Old Tyrell had a goat.
00:46:49E-I-E-I-O!
00:46:51All right, that's it.
00:46:53I swear to God.
00:46:54Oh, my God, look at that!
00:46:56Yes!
00:46:58All right.
00:46:59Perform as gutters to earn your next clue.
00:47:02Gutters. What's a gutter?
00:47:04Can we get a room?
00:47:06Intersection.
00:47:07Yes, intersection.
00:47:08We need to do it with someone else.
00:47:10Yes!
00:47:11Are these the boys?
00:47:12Yeah, boys.
00:47:13Rapido, rapido.
00:47:14It's the intersection.
00:47:15We need you. Come on.
00:47:17Guys, we're at an intersection.
00:47:18Are you guys happy to team with us?
00:47:20Yep.
00:47:21Definitely.
00:47:22Yay!
00:47:23Let's be friends, though.
00:47:24We've got to get our horse on.
00:47:25Yep.
00:47:26Hi, guys.
00:47:27Hi, guys.
00:47:28Intersection.
00:47:29I guess we're doing this together.
00:47:30You wanna?
00:47:31We're doing this together, yeah.
00:47:32Let's do it.
00:47:33Ravonna takes charge,
00:47:34because essentially it's a dance routine
00:47:35that we're presented with just on horseback.
00:47:37Okay, ready, go.
00:47:38Around, round, round, and then we go forward.
00:47:42Wait, wait, wait.
00:47:43And then, yeah, we'll go out.
00:47:44Yeah.
00:47:45We met at an audition for a show
00:47:47that was like singing and dancing.
00:47:49So this challenge...
00:47:51It was easy for us.
00:47:52We do one more circle on our own.
00:47:54On our own.
00:47:55And then that's the way.
00:47:57And that's it.
00:47:58But I've never ridden a horse before.
00:48:00I'm thinking, how hard could it be?
00:48:03Three.
00:48:04One, two, three.
00:48:05Right on.
00:48:06I thought, yes, the country and western singers.
00:48:08Oh, shit.
00:48:09Surely they've ridden a couple of horses in their time.
00:48:12How do I go left?
00:48:13Just go left.
00:48:14This way.
00:48:15No, no, this way.
00:48:16Yeah.
00:48:17Shit.
00:48:18My horse is hungry.
00:48:19Oh, no.
00:48:20Oh, no, he's eating the...
00:48:23He's eating the props.
00:48:24No.
00:48:25He's eating the props.
00:48:26What do I do?
00:48:27It was exposed today.
00:48:28We know nothing about horses.
00:48:30When you go forward, if you're kind, like, thrust.
00:48:34Thankfully, we were with Oscar, the horse whisperer,
00:48:38on our team, and he gave us some great advice.
00:48:40And thrust, it helps.
00:48:42See, I'm going forward.
00:48:43Oh.
00:48:44Like that.
00:48:45Riding it.
00:48:46Yeah, ride it.
00:48:47Ride it.
00:48:48So you've got to move with it.
00:48:49And we were like, ooh.
00:48:50And it was like, oh.
00:48:52Go into your positions.
00:48:53Come on.
00:48:54We'll be right.
00:48:55Come on.
00:48:56We're away.
00:48:57Yep, right.
00:48:58OK, we've got this, guys.
00:48:59Thrust.
00:49:00Yep, we're good.
00:49:01Oh, this is good.
00:49:02And thrust.
00:49:04We are riding this baby.
00:49:08Yeah!
00:49:09Yes!
00:49:10I'm so excited.
00:49:11Gracias.
00:49:12Oh, he's sore.
00:49:13He's going to be sore tomorrow.
00:49:14The legs are sore.
00:49:15Yes.
00:49:16Good rip.
00:49:17Search for Bo at the pit stop.
00:49:18OK, let's go.
00:49:19Let's go.
00:49:21Uno mas.
00:49:22One more time?
00:49:23No.
00:49:24No, we're good.
00:49:25We're good.
00:49:26Yeah.
00:49:27We're good.
00:49:28Are we really?
00:49:29Yeah, we are.
00:49:30We are.
00:49:31Everyone was going, let's go and get tested.
00:49:32I was the only one that wasn't eager to perform.
00:49:36Wait for us, boys.
00:49:37Excellent.
00:49:38Good pace.
00:49:39Perfect.
00:49:40Wait for us.
00:49:41Wait for us.
00:49:43Yeah, my horse was broken.
00:49:44It didn't respond to anything or very little that I did.
00:49:48Turn it.
00:49:49Come on.
00:49:50Kick your left.
00:49:51Kick your right heel, Ian.
00:49:52Thorpy's horse didn't know where it was and didn't want to ride with us.
00:49:55He's so far out of frame, and he didn't know what to do, the poor sucker.
00:50:00Hey, wait, guys.
00:50:01Wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:50:02Ian, we're waiting for Ian.
00:50:03We're waiting for Ian.
00:50:04Wait, wait, wait.
00:50:05OK.
00:50:06Ready?
00:50:08Tuck your left foot into it, mate.
00:50:09I have.
00:50:11You were getting frustrated there.
00:50:12Oh, no.
00:50:13It was frustrating as hell.
00:50:15Everyone turn.
00:50:16Yep.
00:50:17Nice.
00:50:18Nice.
00:50:19Yeah.
00:50:20Yep.
00:50:21We straight?
00:50:22Everyone straight?
00:50:23No.
00:50:24I was concerned.
00:50:25You know, we've wasted this amount of time here.
00:50:26I was struggling.
00:50:29Do you want a different horse, Ian?
00:50:30Do you want to try a different horse?
00:50:32Well done.
00:50:33Well done.
00:50:34I got a new horse.
00:50:35I'm much happier.
00:50:37All right, we got this, guys.
00:50:39Don't stress, Ian.
00:50:40You got this.
00:50:44Three, two, one, and you're off.
00:50:49Looking good, you beautiful stallions.
00:50:52You've been in high-performance sport.
00:50:54You know that you cannot be successful unless you fail.
00:50:58You got it, Ian.
00:50:59And knowing when you do fail, it's about just moving on
00:51:02and being successful in the next thing.
00:51:05Come on.
00:51:07Yes!
00:51:09Woo-hoo!
00:51:15We're in great shape, actually.
00:51:16We're in great shape.
00:51:17Perfect.
00:51:18Perfect.
00:51:20Pretty good, guys.
00:51:21Yeah.
00:51:22Woo!
00:51:23Yeah!
00:51:25Yep.
00:51:28Search for Beau at the pit stop.
00:51:29Hurry.
00:51:30The last team may be eliminated.
00:51:31What did you think of it, though?
00:51:32Oh, it was amazing.
00:51:33I loved it much more than the meet.
00:51:36Let's go.
00:51:37Yep, intersection.
00:51:39All right, well, we'll go with black.
00:51:40It matches our souls.
00:51:44I've never ridden a horse in my life.
00:51:46What are you talking about?
00:51:47You've ridden a stallion.
00:51:48I knew you were going to say that.
00:51:49You've been riding a stallion for five years now.
00:51:50Come on.
00:51:51I knew you were going to say that.
00:51:52You've got a stallion at home.
00:51:54Good, guys?
00:51:55You good, guys?
00:51:56Oh, we're good.
00:51:57I think so.
00:51:58I don't know.
00:51:59We're waiting for our partner.
00:52:00You guys smash it.
00:52:01Thanks, guys.
00:52:02They had the possibility, so we're waiting for Mel in there.
00:52:07So we've got no choice but to team up.
00:52:12I appreciate everybody who does this every day,
00:52:14these poor goats and the farmers.
00:52:17Yep.
00:52:18Oh, my God.
00:52:19What a tough, tough job.
00:52:21We were having a really hard day.
00:52:25There's a goat giving birth.
00:52:26And then the most beautiful thing that I've ever witnessed happen.
00:52:32Oh, my God.
00:52:33There's a goat having a baby.
00:52:35Oh, this is incredible.
00:52:37Oh, my God.
00:52:40I don't want to distress her.
00:52:42Oh, my God.
00:52:44Oh, my God.
00:52:49We're going to name her.
00:52:50Oh, what shall we name her?
00:52:54We're going to name her Logan.
00:52:56We're going to name her Logan.
00:52:59You can name her Logan.
00:53:01My daughter, Logan.
00:53:03They've struggled a lot with mental health in the past few years.
00:53:07I've struggled many a times not knowing whether I'm going to come home to my child.
00:53:12And that's why this race and charity means just so much to me.
00:53:17To raise awareness for the Black Dog Institute.
00:53:20I want families to be able to navigate the mental health system.
00:53:25That's Logan.
00:53:26Hi, Logan.
00:53:28And it gave us that push to keep going.
00:53:31Oh, my gosh.
00:53:32How's that little baby?
00:53:33We love you.
00:53:34We've got to keep racing.
00:53:35We love you.
00:53:37I knew Logan was with me.
00:53:38And I really did feel in this moment,
00:53:40this was a rebirth.
00:53:42I want her to know that I'm so very, very proud of the progress that she's made.
00:53:48And that I love her unconditionally.
00:53:50And, yeah.
00:53:53That this is what I'm doing this for.
00:53:55Oh, my God.
00:53:59I love you.
00:54:03Well done.
00:54:04Thank you so much.
00:54:05Well done.
00:54:07When's it going to say this time?
00:54:08I don't know.
00:54:09Let's go.
00:54:10Settle up to earn your next clue.
00:54:12God.
00:54:15We have to get there first to start our time penalty.
00:54:17I totally agree.
00:54:18I feel guilty that I was the one that made us take the time penalty.
00:54:21Honestly, babe, I don't think I would have been able to stomach that any more than you.
00:54:25And it would have been worse to get halfway through, start vomiting and not be able to stop.
00:54:29Yeah.
00:54:30Look, if we get there and we're first, we're doing a shoo-in.
00:54:34I agree.
00:54:36You watch Top Gear?
00:54:37No.
00:54:39You heard of Jonathan Lepalia?
00:54:41No.
00:54:44He's shorter in real life.
00:54:47Oh, yeah.
00:54:49Great eyeballs.
00:54:50Yes, you do.
00:54:55Let's go, Lux.
00:54:58There.
00:54:59I see him.
00:55:00We can run.
00:55:02Oh, there.
00:55:03Let me see.
00:55:09It doesn't feel real.
00:55:11It doesn't feel real.
00:55:13It's not real.
00:55:14Bienvenidos a Salta.
00:55:15Welcome to Salta.
00:55:17Muchas gracias.
00:55:18Gracias.
00:55:20Jet and Lily, you are the first team to arrive.
00:55:23However, because you did not finish the Strong Stomach Eating Challenge,
00:55:26you'll be serving a one-hour penalty.
00:55:28Please be seated.
00:55:30I know you gave it everything.
00:55:32We gave ourselves every opportunity with that time penalty to stay in it
00:55:37by getting there first.
00:55:39And it was just a case of sitting and waiting.
00:55:43It's Bam Bam and Logan.
00:55:44Can't miss them.
00:55:46What do?
00:55:47What do?
00:55:51Bienvenidos a Salta.
00:55:53Welcome to Salta.
00:55:56Welcome to Salta.
00:55:59Bam Bam and Logan, you are the second team to arrive.
00:56:02However, you're the first team to check in.
00:56:09We said to ourselves, if we ever come first,
00:56:11we want to get on the mat and do a shoeie.
00:56:14Use my shoe.
00:56:16Leave a little bit for me.
00:56:17A little bit for me.
00:56:19Love ya.
00:56:21Brand new shoes.
00:56:27Wow, yes.
00:56:28Not what my uncle's getting for Christmas.
00:56:32Nice boys.
00:56:34It's a hard pill to swallow.
00:56:37We had an hour time penalty
00:56:38and not knowing where we were actually going to finish
00:56:40was pretty daunting.
00:56:43Fingers crossed we're not going home.
00:56:44Praying, praying we're not going home tonight, yeah.
00:56:51What do you reckon these yields are?
00:56:53I don't know.
00:56:54They just decided to stay and become farmers themselves.
00:56:56That's how long they're taking.
00:56:58We had to wait about 45 minutes all over it.
00:57:00Even though they're taking a while,
00:57:01they can still knock us out.
00:57:03But at the end, I want to knock them off and send them home.
00:57:07Here we go.
00:57:08Oh my goodness.
00:57:10Okay, get your cowgirl on honey.
00:57:11Okay.
00:57:12Yeehaw!
00:57:14There's still some teams there.
00:57:16Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
00:57:18Quick, quick.
00:57:19Come on girls.
00:57:20Oh my god.
00:57:21We couldn't do this without you guys.
00:57:24When we saw Cyril and Eden,
00:57:26I think we thought, okay, we still have a chance.
00:57:28There's always something that can happen in this race.
00:57:30So we're still in the race.
00:57:31Yes, I know.
00:57:35Do you like the colour pink?
00:57:36Yes.
00:57:40I felt so anxious all day
00:57:43since we decided to take the penalty.
00:57:45It's a long, long hour.
00:57:51It's a nice lake.
00:57:52Oh my god.
00:57:53Oh my god.
00:57:55Billy and Oscar,
00:57:57father, son.
00:57:59Yes.
00:58:00Well done, boy.
00:58:01Good work.

00:58:07Billy and Oscar,
00:58:08you are the third team to arrive.
00:58:10Yes.
00:58:11Good boy.
00:58:12But you're the second team to check in.
00:58:13Hey, bring it in.
00:58:15Jeez, it's good to see your face.
00:58:18What's this?
00:58:19Bring it in.
00:58:22Yes.
00:58:24Brooke and Adam,
00:58:25you are the fourth team to arrive.
00:58:26Yes.
00:58:28But you're the third team to check in.
00:58:29Oh.
00:58:31We'd seen some of the other teams coming in
00:58:33and we started to get a little bit worried.
00:58:36Dorpy and Christian,
00:58:37you are the fifth team to arrive.
00:58:39Yep.
00:58:40The fourth team to check in.
00:58:43Chloe and Emily,
00:58:44you are the sixth team to arrive.
00:58:47But you're the fifth team to check in.
00:58:50Barna and Steph,

00:58:55Ah, yes.
00:58:57Pete and Bridget,
00:58:58you are the eighth team to arrive,
00:58:59but the seventh team to check in.
00:59:01We'll take it.
00:59:02I was sort of thinking
00:59:03that this could be the end for us.
00:59:07I reckon we can get this in one go, guys.
00:59:09One go, all right?
00:59:10Are we not listening to Natalie's instructions?
00:59:12Okay, guys, one go.
00:59:13All right, Nat, it's all on you.
00:59:15I know, Sarah, I was like,
00:59:16I'm not an animal fan,
00:59:17and Eden was finding it quite difficult.
00:59:19Ready to turn?
00:59:20So I felt like,
00:59:21I may as well take the lead on this one.
00:59:23Come on, come on.
00:59:24We're almost there.
00:59:31Come on, back to the park.
00:59:34Hurry, the last team may be eliminated.
00:59:37Cyril and Eden are great.
00:59:38And Cyril's reputation,
00:59:40we were pleasantly surprised.
00:59:41Yeah, putting it out there,
00:59:42she's lovely.
00:59:43As soon as we walked out the gates
00:59:45and got to the car,
00:59:46the friendship ended.
00:59:47We had to be enemies again.
00:59:49We're our teammate and they're our enemies.
00:59:51We had to wait all that time for them.
00:59:53We can't lose to them.
00:59:54We just can't lose to them.
00:59:55So, you know, I'm going to follow them
00:59:56because we're going the same direction.
00:59:58And they're behind, so it's okay.
01:00:00I'm going to follow them.
01:00:01Wherever they go, we go.
01:00:04Or maybe someone has taken a time penalty
01:00:06for something else that they didn't complete.
01:00:08That's right, maybe.
01:00:10Beep, beep, beep.
01:00:15Okay, they're still on our tail net.
01:00:18It's neck and neck.
01:00:19We can't lose, we cannot lose here.
01:00:21We're going to have to run our hearts out at the end.
01:00:24Put that backpack, get it on, run.
01:00:27Game on, Moles.
01:00:29This is intense.
01:00:32Yes, yes, yes.
01:00:33Yes, yes, yes.
01:00:34Yes, yes, yes.
01:00:35Yes, yes, yes.

01:00:37Go, go, go.
01:00:38Yes.
01:00:44Chet and Lily, please step back on the mat.
01:00:52All right, guys, your one-hour penalty is up.
01:00:55Yes, you were the first team to arrive,
01:00:57but you are the eighth team to check in
01:00:59and you are still in the race.
01:01:01Let's go.
01:01:02That's awesome.
01:01:03It was the biggest relief.
01:01:06Well done.
01:01:07You're in, just in, just in, just in.
01:01:09That's all that matters.

01:01:11Save it for the final.
01:01:12We're just so stoked with eighth.
01:01:13An eighth place is better than...
01:01:14Going home.
01:01:15So...
01:01:18Where?
01:01:19Here?
01:01:20Just here?

01:02:48Unfortunately, your time on the race is over.
01:02:51You are eliminated.
01:02:53We did it together and Mel, like, did some things
01:02:56that you've never done in your life.
01:02:58We're just so proud that we got here.
01:03:01We didn't stop.
01:03:02We didn't give up.
01:03:03Just so proud.
01:03:04And honestly, we really wanted to do this
01:03:06for the Black Dog Institute.
01:03:07Yeah.
01:03:08Raise awareness for mental health,
01:03:09which we've both experienced a lot of and suicide prevention
01:03:13and, you know, they really are a support network for everyone
01:03:16that, you know, either suffers from mental ill health
01:03:19or knows someone who does.
01:03:22We'd shone a light on our charity,
01:03:24the Black Dog Institute,
01:03:25to not have shame around mental health
01:03:27and to support suicide prevention.
01:03:29So grateful to be a part of this show.
01:03:31Thank you so much.
01:03:32This is absolutely incredible.
01:03:33Wonderful advocates.

01:03:36We did the amazing race!
01:03:39Look what we've achieved in the last few days.
01:03:42We'd achieved something that most people
01:03:46never get to in a lifetime.
01:03:48Oh, thanks, guys.
01:03:51We did what we came to do.
01:03:53Of course, you always want to go further,
01:03:55but we were really proud of what we achieved.
01:03:58Oh, my goodness.

01:04:11You got anything else smart to say, Christian?
01:04:13We're not on maps.
01:04:15It's on.
01:04:16Then it's Africa,
01:04:18where the spirit of humanity
01:04:21meets incredible beauty.
01:04:23There's a zebra there, a zebra.
01:04:25A bit different to the Damai Zoo.
01:04:29This is a moment we remember forever.
