00:02:26The Gaucho.
00:02:27The Argentina's answer to Hollywood's cowboys.
00:02:31But I reckon they look way better and cooler.
00:02:34Draming it up.
00:02:35Yeah.
00:02:36Hola.
00:02:37These local legends work the land in the rugged foothills of the mighty Andes.
00:02:42Which surround the magical city of Salta.
00:02:46And it's not just the mountains.
00:02:48It's the mountains.
00:02:49And it's the mountains.
00:02:50And it's the mountains.
00:02:51And it's the mountains.
00:02:52And it's the mountains.
00:02:53The magical city of Salta.
00:02:57Our ten teams have travelled 1500 kilometres from Buenos Aires on the east coast
00:03:02to the remote top end of the country.
00:03:04In north west Argentina local traditions run deep and go strong.
00:03:08So throw in your ponchos and giddy up
00:03:10for the second leg of the amazing race Australia.

00:03:20Welcome to Salta La Linda.
00:03:22Taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo.
00:03:25And search for your next clue.
00:03:26Let's go.
00:03:27The remaining ten teams are leaving in the order they arrived at the previous pit stop.
00:03:31Quick.
00:03:32Boot.
00:03:34Come on.
00:03:36They're heading 1500 metres straight up
00:03:39to the area's highest vantage point at Cerro San Bernardo.
00:03:43This spot commands breathtaking views of the entire region.
00:03:46It's also where they'll find their next clue.
00:03:49Just basing off the first race
00:03:51we could possibly be the strongest right now.
00:03:53Pressure is on since we came first.
00:03:55However, we thrive under pressure.
00:03:56Like, I think we kind of love that there's a target on our back.
00:03:59Good driving, Eduardo.
00:04:01I know for sure Corky and Christian are going to be strong once again.
00:04:04They know how to win.
00:04:05They're competitive.
00:04:06And so are we.
00:04:07And that's why the elite athletes are in front.
00:04:10I can actually, I can see a gondola.
00:04:12So do you think it's going to be that?
00:04:13The cable cars?
00:04:14Yeah, that.
00:04:15Yeah, yeah.
00:04:16A gondola.
00:04:17Yeah, not in Venice.
00:04:22Ready?
00:04:23Yeah.
00:04:27Good start.
00:04:28Welcome to Salta la Linda.
00:04:30Travel by taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo
00:04:33and search for your next clue.
00:04:35All right, let's go, let's get a cab.
00:04:37Hola.
00:04:38Hola.
00:04:39Cerro San...
00:04:40San Bernardo.
00:04:41Yes, yes, yes.
00:04:43How long will it take to get there?
00:04:45No English.
00:04:46No English.
00:04:47There's the country singers behind us.
00:04:51The elite athletes have bloody well and truly rubbed off on us.
00:04:54Absolutely.
00:04:55We've got the caps, we've got the socks.
00:04:57We've got comfortable pants.
00:04:58We're not mucking about.
00:04:59Come on, athletes.
00:05:00Oh, this is very frickin' cool.
00:05:02Look at these mountains.
00:05:03I know, look.
00:05:04It kind of looks like Wang Walk where we live.
00:05:06This is...
00:05:07The old Wang.
00:05:08Epic, look at the mountains.
00:05:09Wow, okay, that mountain definitely is bigger
00:05:11than our Wang Mountain.
00:05:13Oh.
00:05:14They've got a bigger Wang.
00:05:15Mm, apparently.
00:05:18Okay, let's go, girl.
00:05:19Breathe.
00:05:21Feels thick.
00:05:22Travel by taxi to the top of Cerro San Bernardo.
00:05:25And search for your next clue.
00:05:27Let's go.
00:05:28Taxis, over here.
00:05:31Let's go.
00:05:33I feel like this isn't a very big car.
00:05:35No, I don't think we've got the roomiest vehicle,
00:05:37to be absolutely honest.
00:05:38The boot was full.
00:05:39The boot was full.
00:05:40There was no room in the boots.
00:05:41You know when you catch an Uber
00:05:42and the driver's got their golf clubs in the back?
00:05:44Yeah, that's what's happened pretty much.
00:05:47Let's go.
00:05:48Vamos.
00:05:49Vamos.
00:05:51We are pumped.
00:05:52We're pumped.
00:05:53We've got to catch up a little bit.
00:05:54It's not how you start, it's how you finish.
00:05:56That's it.
00:05:57That's it.
00:05:58We don't look behind.
00:05:59We look in front, you know what I mean?
00:06:01Eyes on the goal.
00:06:03We don't look at the opposition.
00:06:05Old mate's taxi was in full throttle.
00:06:07Straight up to the top of the mountain.
00:06:09Is that the boy?
00:06:10Oh, get out of here.
00:06:12Get out.
00:06:13We're calmer today.
00:06:14We are.
00:06:15Nothing's going to, like...
00:06:16No.
00:06:17Today's a good day.
00:06:18We've got a few mantras going on.
00:06:19Calm the farm.
00:06:20Let's calm the farm.
00:06:21Just take one big breath in and refocus
00:06:24and keep going instead of being like...
00:06:26The only thing that...
00:06:27Is I've actually realised we're going up a hill.
00:06:29That means heights.
00:06:30It's OK.
00:06:31I'm so high right now.
00:06:32Breathe.
00:06:33OK, you need to start breathing already
00:06:34because I know that this is your fear,
00:06:35so you've just got to start telling yourself
00:06:37some positive affirmations,
00:06:38like, I've got this, I can do this.
00:06:40Yeah.
00:06:41Family means the world to both of us.
00:06:44I've only got to be upset for five minutes
00:06:46and she's like, I'm getting on a plane.
00:06:48I'm going to be there for you.
00:06:50We're not anywhere yet, OK?
00:06:52We might be sliding down on our bums.
00:06:54It's OK, you've got this.
00:06:56I've got you.
00:06:57I love you.
00:06:58It's OK.
00:07:02Oh, this is so exciting.
00:07:03I love you.
00:07:04I love you.
00:07:08Scott likes it.
00:07:10When we got to the top of that mountain,
00:07:12we could see that the Tillys are there,
00:07:14Billy Oscar,
00:07:16Alana and Steph are there.
00:07:18Obviously, like, the other teams took the senior group.
00:07:22Look for the colours.
00:07:23Yeah.
00:07:24Oh, look out.
00:07:25Oh, hello, little one.
00:07:26Where's the box?
00:07:27Where's the clue?
00:07:30Go get it, Chloe.
00:07:31Go get it.
00:07:33Over here, over here.
00:07:36Oh, nice.
00:07:38Yeah, OK.
00:07:39Roadblock.
00:07:40Roadblock!
00:07:41One person, one person.
00:07:43Oh, OK.
00:07:45Who likes a fancy dress?
00:07:47A roadblock is a challenge that only one team member
00:07:50must complete based on a cryptic clue.
00:07:53Salta is known for its extravagant,
00:07:56carnival celebrations,
00:07:58full of heart, soul and fancy, colourful costumes.
00:08:04In this challenge,
00:08:05teams will be tested on memory and attention to detail.
00:08:08Every dancer in today's performance
00:08:11has a unique pattern on their costume.
00:08:13Our teams must block out all distractions
00:08:15and find the exact match to this swatch.
00:08:19After spotting the right dancer,
00:08:21they must then memorise the medallion hung around their neck,
00:08:24point out the wrong one,
00:08:26and it's back to the start.
00:08:28Get it right and they'll receive their next clue.
00:08:30Oh, and did I mention the only way to find the dancers
00:08:33is in a small cable car attached to a very thin wire
00:08:36going down a very, very steep mountain.
00:08:38Who likes a fancy dress, you or me?
00:08:40I'll do the fancy dress.
00:08:42You, do you think?
00:08:43Yeah, I'll go.
00:08:44Me more than you.
00:08:45Yeah, you go first.
00:08:46All right, let's go this way.
00:08:48All right, let's get a ticket.
00:08:50Don't trip.
00:08:51I'll see you later.
00:08:52See you down the bottom, yo.
00:08:54Oh, it's a good view.
00:08:55That is a great view.
00:08:56Look at that.
00:08:57We're pretty high up, aren't we?
00:08:59Look at this. Beautiful.
00:09:01Wish I had a B.
00:09:02Wish I had my wife.
00:09:04OK.
00:09:06Make sure you get the money, my brother.
00:09:09Let's go.
00:09:10We got this.
00:09:17There's a clue box.
00:09:21Who likes a fancy dress?
00:09:22You.
00:09:23I like a fancy dress. Let's go.
00:09:24I like a fancy dress.
00:09:26Where is the cable car?
00:09:27Up here.
00:09:32Virgin Mary, or is it Jesus?
00:09:34No, that looks like Jesus.
00:09:36Oh, my goodness.
00:09:38What's happening?
00:09:39Close your eyes. I'm telling you, close your eyes.
00:09:41There's no view for you to look at.
00:09:43When you start coming off that ledge, you're like,
00:09:45oh, my God, my heart was just pounding like that.
00:09:48Pounding.
00:09:49Absolutely pumping.
00:09:50Oh, my God.
00:09:51Eden, do not look down on me.
00:09:52Oh, my God.
00:09:53It's really not even that high, Eden.
00:09:55All right, so stop telling me that.
00:09:56You're making me worse.
00:09:58I can see Australia from here.
00:10:00That's how high up we are.
00:10:07Whoa.
00:10:08That wasn't easy.
00:10:09All right, let's go.
00:10:11Here we go, off-ski.
00:10:13Whoo-hoo!
00:10:24There's a can of our dancers!
00:10:26Whoo!
00:10:27OK.
00:10:28Where's my swatch?
00:10:29There.
00:10:30Let's go, Chloe!
00:10:32Come on!
00:10:34Let's go, Chloe!
00:10:35Come on!
00:10:36You got this, babe!
00:10:38Let's go.
00:10:39This looks cool.
00:10:40I'll get my swatch.
00:10:42Come on, Oscar boy!
00:10:43Let's go, Os!
00:10:44Take your time.
00:10:45Get it right.
00:10:46Come on, Oski.
00:10:47I'm an old footballer, so my memory is not great.
00:10:53Our secret weapon for the amazing race is my son, Oscar.
00:10:58Just not a pretty face with big teeth.
00:11:01He is fit, he's bilingual.
00:11:04Oui.
00:11:05Oui.
00:11:06French, that is.
00:11:07It's not that one.
00:11:08How difficult is this?
00:11:10I know.
00:11:11It must be so hard to see.
00:11:14It's probably 20, 30 dancers.
00:11:16Yeah.
00:11:17All dressed up, moving around in circles.
00:11:19Noise.
00:11:20He's moving so much, Oscar.
00:11:22Yeah, impossible to try and find this one person.
00:11:27I think I've got my man over there in the green pants.
00:11:32Hey!
00:11:43No!
00:11:44Okay.
00:11:46Come on!
00:11:47Where is it?
00:11:49Where is it?
00:11:50Where is it?
00:11:56Okay, you're okay.
00:11:58Who likes a fancy dress?
00:12:00I'll do it.
00:12:01You're going to do it?
00:12:02I promise I'll do it.
00:12:03You like fancy dress.
00:12:04I love a fancy dress party.
00:12:05Let's do it.
00:12:06Let's go.
00:12:07This is the very top.
00:12:08Okay, if you don't want to look out, don't look out, okay?
00:12:10I am petrified of heights.
00:12:13I cannot even walk across the harbour bridge,
00:12:16and that's not over the bridge.
00:12:17This is just walking across the bridge.
00:12:19I'm doing it.
00:12:20This is what we're going to do, okay?
00:12:22I'm doing it.
00:12:23I'm doing it.
00:12:24I'm doing it.
00:12:25Oh, my goodness.
00:12:27Okay, baby, you're okay.
00:12:28You're okay.
00:12:29You'll be fine.
00:12:30Nothing can happen.
00:12:31Just when we're on it,
00:12:32why don't you just look at me the whole way?
00:12:34We're just going to go for a nice little ride.
00:12:36It's going to be quiet.
00:12:37Everybody's so nice.
00:12:40Okay, guys.
00:12:41Good luck.
00:12:42Oh, my God, guys, see you.
00:12:46Look at me.
00:12:47Look at me right now.
00:12:48You're safe, and you're happy, and you're well.
00:12:50You're safe.
00:12:56I couldn't even feel my hands.
00:13:00Breathe.
00:13:02It was hard for Mel to stop panicking.
00:13:04Like, it just kind of kept rising and rising and rising.
00:13:09You got this, Mel.
00:13:10I need to do this.
00:13:12Or we go home.
00:13:22Do we stop? Does it stop?
00:13:24No, you've got to get on.
00:13:25Oh, my God.
00:13:26I need to do this.
00:13:27Or we go home.
00:13:29Hold my hand.
00:13:30Look at me.
00:13:31Look at me.
00:13:33This is the most amazing experience,
00:13:35experience, and I've got you.
00:13:37Hey, hey, hold on.
00:13:38Oh, God, you're going over the edge.
00:13:40I'm not going over the edge.
00:13:41We're looking out to the scenery.
00:13:43We're looking out to the scenery.
00:13:44It's beautiful.
00:13:45It's amazing.
00:13:46We're on top of the world, okay?
00:13:48We're okay, I promise.
00:13:50I promise you're okay.
00:13:53Shh.
00:13:54You never want to see someone that you love and care for
00:13:57being so emotional and so fearful.
00:14:03I promise you're okay.
00:14:05Okay?
00:14:07This is the once in a lifetime that we get to experience this together, right?
00:14:12Oh, my God.
00:14:13It's okay, it's okay.
00:14:15It's okay, baby, it's okay.
00:14:17Breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe.
00:14:19It's beautiful, Mel.
00:14:20Oh, my God.
00:14:21Have a look.
00:14:22Have a look.
00:14:23You're already on here.
00:14:24You're already doing this.
00:14:25You're doing this right now.
00:14:26Take a look.
00:14:27Look.
00:14:28Look how lucky you are.
00:14:30I definitely would not have done it without Nat.
00:14:33Like, there is no way in the world.
00:14:36It's so beautiful.
00:14:38Yeah.
00:14:39Oh, thank you.
00:14:40Jesus, I thought I was going to die.
00:14:44Uno, dos, tres.

00:15:07Carnival, colors, chaos.
00:15:09This is the job for her.
00:15:10Details, details.
00:15:12Let's go, Chloe!
00:15:15I find the swatch the next step.
00:15:20The next step.
00:15:21I'm looking for the neck medallion.
00:15:23Pink, pink and blue medallion.
00:15:26And I'm thinking to myself, I finally got this.
00:15:28Come on!
00:15:29Yes, Chloe!
00:15:33No.
00:15:35Back drop over here.
00:15:38Yep, there it is.
00:15:39Go!
00:15:40Once everyone caught up, everyone was there, struggling.
00:15:44I was just watching him the whole time and he had his game face on.
00:15:48He just zooms in.
00:15:50It's like...
00:16:00That's it, fam!
00:16:01That's it, baby!
00:16:03Woo!
00:16:12Gracias, amigos!
00:16:14Hasta luego!
00:16:15Hasta luego!
00:16:19Boom.
00:16:20Come from behind, got in front.
00:16:23Yes!
00:16:24Game time, baby!
00:16:26It's over, it's over.
00:16:27Let's go.
00:16:28Nice one, Bam.
00:16:29Detour.
00:16:30Self-drive to Finca La Fuella and choose your detour.
00:16:33Strong stomach or soft touch?
00:16:35A detour is a choice between two challenges, each with its own pros and cons.
00:16:40In this detour, teams must choose between strong stomach or soft touch.
00:16:45And there are limited spaces in each, so it's first come, first served.
00:16:49In the state province of Salta, there is a local delicacy that takes six hours to cook
00:16:53and some of the lucky teams will have it all to themselves.
00:16:56Heads up.
00:16:58It's a cow.
00:16:59Well, it was a cow.
00:17:01Teams that choose strong stomach will be served the Argentine gastronomic delight
00:17:05known as capisar guatiada, or cow's head cooked underground.
00:17:11Our chefs will lovingly plate up the feast and both team members must eat the whole head,
00:17:16including delicacies such as the cheeks, tongue and eyeballs.
00:17:21When everything has been devoured, they'll receive their next clue.
00:17:28Goats are big around here.
00:17:29You've got goat milk, goat cheese.
00:17:31It is all at your fingertips.
00:17:33Now, milking them, they don't make it easy for you.
00:17:35That's why I've got Jan and Jack here, the locals, to help me out.
00:17:38But I've milked goats all over the world.
00:17:40I know what I'm doing.
00:17:42It's got to be soft touch.
00:17:44Soft touch like that.
00:17:46This one.
00:17:47This later one.
00:17:48It's just like that.
00:17:51This one's not ready.
00:17:53In this challenge, teams must choose their favourite goat and get to work.
00:17:58Once they've successfully extracted at least two kilos of milk, they'll receive their next clue.
00:18:04Straight from the source.
00:18:09It's the milk.
00:18:11Eat.
00:18:12We're eating.
00:18:13Let's go.
00:18:14We said that I'd do the driving, just because...
00:18:16He's done more driving around the world than I have.
00:18:19Direction.
00:18:20Direction.
00:18:22All the way down.
00:18:24Left.
00:18:26Obviously, that language barrier there was always going to be a thing for us.
00:18:29Hola.
00:18:30Do you know where Vaqueros is?
00:18:32But we're houses from Western Sydney, and good energy is our language.
00:18:36I follow you.
00:18:38You go, go, go, go.
00:18:39Gracias.
00:18:40Gracias, amigo.
00:18:41We're following a silver car.
00:18:43I said, can you tell us where this is?
00:18:44And he pretty much said, follow him.
00:18:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:18:47He knows what's going on.
00:18:48He's from here.
00:18:49We're just going to put our trust in him.
00:18:50Nice one, baby.
00:18:52Argentina!
00:18:55Are we in the right thing?
00:18:56Bloody hell.
00:18:58It went past him, and I'm like, it's that one, obviously, but I can't tell him.
00:19:02So, no.
00:19:03No, not you.
00:19:05Come on!
00:19:06Where is it?
00:19:08Have you got any clue?
00:19:10No.
00:19:11Steph!
00:19:13Look!
00:19:15Come on!
00:19:16Come on, Steph!
00:19:17Come on, Steph!
00:19:18Me and Steph were complete opposites in so many ways.
00:19:22Like, I toured the world DJing in the clubs, but she could live isolated on a farm.
00:19:28I could just lie on the grass, looking at the sky.
00:19:32Remember when I was saying?
00:19:33Yeah.
00:19:34And we understand each other's strengths and weaknesses.
00:19:39Steph is, can I say?
00:19:41What?
00:19:42I don't even know.
00:19:43Legally blind.
00:19:44I'm not legally blind.
00:19:45I'm close to legally blind.
00:19:47Close.
00:19:48Close to legally blind.
00:19:49But I'm wearing contact lenses.
00:19:50Yeah.
00:19:51Stephanie can't...
00:19:52She can't see.
00:19:53She's, like, blind.
00:19:55Steph, look at other people when they're looking!
00:19:57Look at them!
00:19:59I'm definitely worried that Steph might not be able to see the patterns.
00:20:04This could take forever.
00:20:05It's like finding a needle in a haystack.
00:20:09Come on, come on, come on.
00:20:15Yes!
00:20:16Thank you, boss.
00:20:17Appreciate it.
00:20:18Yeah!
00:20:19Woohoo!
00:20:20Come on, good job.
00:20:22Four.
00:20:23Four.
00:20:24Okay, is that one?
00:20:25Thank you, brother.
00:20:26Good man.
00:20:27Yeah!
00:20:28He's got it, he's got it, he's got it!
00:20:30Come on!
00:20:32Come on!
00:20:35Let's go.
00:20:36Oh, good rip, good rip.
00:20:37Strong stomach or soft touch?
00:20:39We're milking.
00:20:40We're milking.
00:20:41We've both got strong stomachs.
00:20:42We can do that.
00:20:43Let's go milking.
00:20:44Go!
00:20:45Come on.
00:20:46Remember, drive on the right side of the road, okay?
00:20:48I got it.
00:20:49We are on our way to potentially eat something disgusting.
00:20:53Los Moles.
00:20:54Oh, yeah, right here, right here.
00:20:55No, you're going left.
00:20:56You're going in the...
00:20:57Right?
00:20:58You said right here?
00:20:59No, you're on the wrong side of the road.
00:21:00Just quick, get over.
00:21:01Just go over.
00:21:02Indicate.
00:21:03Oh, there's a car!
00:21:08You've got the windscreen wipers going.
00:21:09This has happened to us before.
00:21:14Right, there it is.
00:21:15Baguero!
00:21:20Strong stomach.
00:21:21Strong stomach it is.
00:21:27Hola, amigo.
00:21:28All right, what are we eating?
00:21:30We're Pacific Islanders.
00:21:31We cook like this in the ground, the umu, wrap it in leaves.
00:21:34Very similar.
00:21:35That looks like a horse head.
00:21:36Okay.
00:21:37Horse or cow?
00:21:38Cow.
00:21:39Cow.
00:21:40Oh, this is beautiful.
00:21:44Oh, yeah, it's game time.
00:21:46I reckon they're giving the tongue, the tongue and that.
00:21:49Yes.
00:21:54That's the eyeball.
00:21:55We're going to eat the eyes first because we've got to keep the eyes on the prize.
00:21:59That's right, that's right.
00:22:00That's a lot of meat.
00:22:02Where's that eyeball?
00:22:06We just ate the eyeballs.
00:22:07Eyeballs are easy.
00:22:09In our culture, we don't like to waste food.
00:22:12So every little thing that we can get off the bone, that's us.
00:22:16We'll be all right.
00:22:17Don't know about the rest of them.
00:22:19We're going with a strong stomach.
00:22:21Strong stomach.
00:22:22Okay, we're going strong stomach?
00:22:23Yeah, I don't think we can do that.
00:22:25Strong stomach.
00:22:26Oh, if we're on a farm, it's going to be something.
00:22:28Animals, isn't it?
00:22:30Maybe we're going to eat our fellow contestant.
00:22:32It's the AFL crew, it's the AFL crew.
00:22:34Father and son.
00:22:35Hello, boys.
00:22:36Hope you're hungry.
00:22:38Oh, it's massive.
00:22:39Spear bucket, that's always a must.
00:22:41They're from Melbourne, mate.
00:22:42They're used to nice, proper cafes and this and that.
00:22:45Coffee.
00:22:46Coffee.
00:22:47Can I get a latte with this?
00:22:49I don't think they've got it in them.
00:22:51Oh, shit.
00:22:53What is that?
00:22:55Yeah, it's a cow's head.
00:22:57A cow's head?
00:22:58A cow's head.
00:22:59A cow's head is massive.
00:23:00A dinosaur.
00:23:01Massive.
00:23:02A dinosaur's head.
00:23:03And then he pulled it apart.
00:23:05Oh, yeah.
00:23:06Hello.
00:23:07And he pulled the actual jaw off.
00:23:11Yuck.
00:23:13Oh, what's that one?
00:23:14Eyeball.
00:23:15Eyeball.
00:23:17I'm not that hungry anymore.
00:23:18Fish are off.
00:23:19Of course you are, boy.
00:23:20Of course you are.
00:23:21Look at the shape of the horse's head.
00:23:22I feel like I'm in the Godfather.
00:23:24It's rather large.
00:23:25It's nice.
00:23:28Oh, oh, the tongue.
00:23:31There's tongue.
00:23:34Oh, it's got eyelashes.
00:23:35Do I have to eat eyelashes?
00:23:39I think we'll just get the kingfish sashimi if that's okay.
00:23:51When in Rome, eat a cow's head with the eyeball.
00:23:55All right, let's go the grim stuff, the eyes first.
00:23:58Oh, yeah.
00:23:59Good idea.
00:24:01Oh.
00:24:02Yep.
00:24:05All right, just do it.
00:24:12It's like I'm eating Gene Simmons.
00:24:18Is that your time?
00:24:21You know what I'm thinking of now?
00:24:23Milking a cow.
00:24:25Yep.
00:24:26Soft, soft touch.
00:24:27Let's go, let's go.
00:24:28We have to fill up a bucket?
00:24:29Yep.
00:24:30Oh, we'd like to milk a goat.
00:24:31Soft touch.
00:24:32Soft touch.
00:24:33Let's go.
00:24:34We're going to milk a goat.
00:24:35We're going to milk a goat.
00:24:36We're going to milk a goat.
00:24:37And I'm going to hold the horns.
00:24:38He's going to milk the goat.
00:24:39I want it here and I want it there.
00:24:45You must first grab her by the horns.
00:24:47Yep.
00:24:48Firmly.
00:24:49Yep.
00:24:50And then bend your body forwards.
00:24:51Yes.
00:24:52To walk her.
00:24:53She might pull back.
00:24:54Okay.
00:24:55Okay.
00:24:56Come on, come on, come on, darling.
00:24:57Good girl.
00:24:58Okay.
00:24:59Hello, goat.
00:25:00Hello, goat.
00:25:01Let's goat.
00:25:02Let's goat.
00:25:03Let's goat.
00:25:04Bah.
00:25:05Bah.
00:25:06That's a bad joke.
00:25:07Aren't they farmers, Dolph?
00:25:08Who, Brook and Adam?
00:25:09Yeah, Brook and Adam.
00:25:10Come on, girl.
00:25:11Being country music singers, people just assume that we know how to milk goats and ride horses.
00:25:15It's a bit hard to get it out.
00:25:18And both of those are zero.
00:25:20We write songs for people who do that.
00:25:22Yes.
00:25:23Yeah.
00:25:24Oh, we're going to milk a goat.
00:25:27Yeah.
00:25:36You've got to go, Nat.
00:25:38Kate, look at Cyril.
00:25:39Kate, look at.
00:25:40Go, Kat.
00:25:42Big eye, Chrissa.
00:25:44Sir, copy.
00:25:46So I had the guy in my sight, but the problem became I couldn't see the medallion.
00:25:52I'm going to say it's this one.
00:25:57So we had a couple of attempts.
00:26:00Third time, we really start to panic and we're starting to crumble.
00:26:05But then I spot what I needed to spot.
00:26:09Yes, come on.
00:26:17I'm so happy.
00:26:19Go, go, go.
00:26:21Strong stomach, let's do it.
00:26:22All right.
00:26:32All right, detour.
00:26:33Strong stomach or soft touch.
00:26:35Oh, my God.
00:26:36Okay, let's do strong stomach.
00:26:38I'm saying stomach.
00:26:39Strong stomach, strong stomach.
00:26:41Self-drive.
00:26:42Oh, my God.
00:26:44Driving on the wrong side of the road is very strange.
00:26:48Okay, that's the windscreen wipers.
00:26:51Yeah, so everything's on the opposite side.
00:26:53You've got to really concentrate.
00:26:55This one way, mate.
00:26:56Shit.
00:26:59Make nice directions, mate.
00:27:03I can't even, like, I literally.
00:27:09Okay, look at this, look at this, look at this green sign.
00:27:11Vaqueros, Vaqueros.
00:27:12Where?
00:27:13The sign, go straight there.
00:27:14Here, here, where, here?
00:27:15Look at that sign, Vaqueros, straight there.
00:27:17There, there, there.
00:27:18Down, down, down.
00:27:19Go straight down here.
00:27:20Go straight here.
00:27:21Go back.
00:27:22Ooh, roundabout.
00:27:24Roundabout, any roundabouts?
00:27:27What does that say?
00:27:28I just can't.
00:27:29Up there, up there, Vasqueros.
00:27:30Right, right, just here, right here.
00:27:32Yep, yep, yep, Vasqueros.
00:27:34So I think we just did the right turn that we were supposed to.
00:27:36Oh, my gosh.
00:27:38Any teams behind us?
00:27:39Can you see any of the cars?
00:27:40I haven't seen anybody around us.
00:27:42No.
00:27:43I'm still so confident that we're going in the right direction.
00:27:47I just had to basically trust where we're going and keep driving.
00:27:51That was a mistake.
00:27:52It seems to be, we're driving a long way.
00:27:55Can I get a Shiraz?
00:27:57A wine, a wine?
00:27:58Wait, oh, sorry.
00:28:00No?
00:28:01Would be a good idea, right?
00:28:02Yes, it would be very nice.
00:28:04A Pez, yeah, get a very nice red.
00:28:08Nice Malbec.
00:28:12What is this?
00:28:13Oh, we're getting full.
00:28:15The amount, though, it's catching up.
00:28:17I've hit the brick wall for sure.
00:28:19I want to keep this lead.
00:28:22Let's go.
00:28:23Once the fat starts to really get cold, it gets a bit gooey,
00:28:27but my eye was on the prize and we had to soldier through.
00:28:31I reckon we're done.
00:28:33I reckon we're done.
00:28:37It was very yummy.
00:28:38It was beautiful.
00:28:39Do you have dessert?
00:28:40Okay.
00:28:41Yes.
00:28:43Gracias, amigo.
00:28:44Very beautiful.
00:28:45Very good.
00:28:46I'll take some for the road.
00:28:47Let's go, let's go.
00:28:48See you, mate.
00:28:49Well done.
00:28:50Well done, boys.
00:28:51See you on the other side, guys.
00:28:52Well done.
00:28:54Make your way to Finca Lesa Horse Ranch.
00:28:59We all know the cowboys of the Wild West,
00:29:01but the cowboys of Argentina are another level.
00:29:04The Gauchos have a very long and proud history
00:29:07and they sit up on those horses like they're sitting on an armchair.
00:29:10They make it look very easy, which it is not.
00:29:14Am I still alive?
00:29:15I'm still alive.
00:29:17It's your time, cowboy!
00:29:23See how we park the car at the front here, lads?
00:29:25Yes, yes, baby.
00:29:26Quick getaway.
00:29:27I see you, I see you.
00:29:28Let's go.
00:29:29Let's urge.
00:29:30You need to unlock me.
00:29:32No, no, I'm not going with you anymore.
00:29:38Strong stomach.
00:29:39Let's do it.
00:29:41Yeah, wash your hands.
00:29:43Ready for some delicious, nutritious,
00:29:46probably going to be a little suspicious...
00:29:49Confirmed.
00:29:50...snacks.
00:29:51I do self-life-saving.
00:29:52I think I do OK with high-pressure situations.
00:29:54Oh, turn around.
00:29:58Then there's Lily from social media
00:30:00who likes to be in control of her life.
00:30:03This will definitely test us.
00:30:06Oh my God, that's a head.
00:30:07That's a head.
00:30:08That's a head.
00:30:10And it's about three, four times the size of mine.
00:30:17This was a mistake.
00:30:19Beef tea.
00:30:20It's exciting.
00:30:25It's meat.
00:30:28Meat?
00:30:29Only meat?
00:30:30Yeah.
00:30:32Oh my God.
00:30:37Typically, I'm an eye-fillet, medium-rare girl
00:30:41at a restaurant.
00:30:43It's its tongue.
00:30:44Not the whole skeleton plonked in front of me.
00:30:49I can't do this.
00:30:53I can literally smell its breath.
00:30:55I can smell its breath.
00:30:57Well, we're eating its tongue, so...
00:30:59Oh, sorry.
00:31:02Oh my God, that is so much food.
00:31:10Oh my God.
00:31:14I can see its 24 molar sitting in front of me
00:31:17and he just broke its jaw.
00:31:23That's so much.
00:31:24I was just weighing it up.
00:31:25I was also obviously thinking about the charity
00:31:27and I felt like if we took the time penalty,
00:31:29that was going to potentially lead to an elimination for us.
00:31:32Okay, well, I won't be able to eat that by myself.
00:31:35Do you want to take the time penalty?
00:31:36I don't know what to do.
00:31:39You have to either finish the detour
00:31:40or serve a one-hour time penalty at the pit stop.
00:31:49How beautiful is this bridge?
00:31:50I brought you here on our date night.
00:31:52To the eyeball and tongue.
00:31:55This tongue's never-ending.
00:31:57The most offensive thing is just when I get a whiff.
00:32:05Do you want to take the time penalty?
00:32:06I don't know what to do.
00:32:08Call it.
00:32:09Do you want to call it?
00:32:10No, we can.
00:32:11We can take the time penalty.
00:32:12Babe, listen.
00:32:13Listen.
00:32:14We can take the time penalty.
00:32:16We can take it.
00:32:17No.
00:32:18I can't.
00:32:19That's not even meat.
00:32:20What is this?
00:32:21We can take the time penalty, babe.
00:32:23Do you want to do it?
00:32:24I don't want to do it.
00:32:25It doesn't matter.
00:32:26I don't want to do it.
00:32:27It doesn't matter.
00:32:28We're in there.
00:32:29We're going to get in there.
00:32:30It doesn't matter.
00:32:31Make the decision, babe.
00:32:32Honestly.
00:32:33I don't want to make it.
00:32:34I don't know what the right thing to do is,
00:32:35and I don't want to make the wrong decision.
00:32:37Yeah, unfortunately, neither of us do.
00:32:39We'll call it, OK?
00:32:41I just feel so out of my depths here,
00:32:44and it was not going to happen for me.
00:32:49We're taking the time penalty.
00:32:50We're going to take the time penalty.
00:32:52I just felt just really like I'd let you down.
00:32:54I felt like I'd let the charity down.
00:32:55Thank you so much.
00:32:56I hope that we made the right decision.
00:32:59All right, route info.
00:33:00Saddle up, take the reins, and perform as guachos
00:33:03to earn your next clue.
00:33:05OK.
00:33:06Yee horse.
00:33:07We'll go this way.
00:33:08Cowboys in the back.
00:33:10Now it's time to show the world the fraud you are.
00:33:16Here they are.
00:33:18What's that?
00:33:20Intersection.
00:33:21We have to partner up.
00:33:23An intersection is a task that two teams must complete together.
00:33:27Once they've paired up, they must choose their favourite gaucho,
00:33:31who'll teach them a specific riding formation and routine.
00:33:35When the teams are confident they've mastered the required moves,
00:33:38they'll perform in front of the head gaucho.
00:33:41Pass, and they'll receive their next clue.
00:33:44The day we make a lead, we have to get an intersection.
00:33:47We're going to have to wait for another team.
00:33:50We have to think what team we're going to pick.
00:33:52Or should we just go with the first team that comes in?
00:33:55I reckon the Tillys.
00:33:56If it's the Tillys, then we're good.
00:33:59Imagine if that food is so bad and no one can stomach it.
00:34:01Imagine if people are just throwing up all over each other
00:34:04and they can't stomach anything.
00:34:05I think that's two litres.
00:34:07Pretty close.
00:34:08Maybe not. We'll just have a check.
00:34:10No, a little bit more.
00:34:11I reckon we're halfway.
00:34:13Strong stomach, this way.
00:34:17That's full.
00:34:18So strong stomach is done. We're soft touch.
00:34:20So let's do the goats.
00:34:22By the time we arrived, strong stomach, it was actually full.
00:34:26Damn it, it's full.
00:34:27It's full. Now we're going to do the soft touch.
00:34:29I was spewing when I saw that because I was like,
00:34:32I don't like animals.
00:34:34This is good fun.
00:34:35I hate animals.
00:34:37They smell funny.
00:34:44They stink like that.
00:34:47Cyril doesn't like animals.
00:34:50We're going to be here for ages.
00:34:52I'm going to have to show this again.
00:34:54God.
00:34:56Eden.
00:34:57Hold both its horns, Cyril.
00:34:59Do you want to milk it?
00:35:00I'll milk it.
00:35:01Take your time.
00:35:03Take your time and they'll settle down.
00:35:05If it shits on me, Eden.
00:35:07I'll give it to you.
00:35:08I can't, Eden, I can't.
00:35:10I barely even knew how to breastfeed my own son,
00:35:12let alone trying to milk a goat.
00:35:15The left leg up, the left leg up.
00:35:17Hold the horns, Cyril.
00:35:19That's clever, man.
00:35:21I need more height.
00:35:22You do this.
00:35:23Do you think I want to do this?
00:35:25It's similar to what you do at home.
00:35:27Yeah, you could do it, really.
00:35:32Here comes someone, here comes someone.
00:35:35Yeah.
00:35:36Hopefully it's a Tilly's.
00:35:40Jet and Lily.
00:35:41Hola, amigos.
00:35:42Hola.
00:35:43We have a little intersection.
00:35:45Oh, jeez.
00:35:46How'd you go?
00:35:47We took a time penalty.
00:35:49Yeah, you couldn't, Eden.
00:35:50Took a time penalty.
00:35:51I couldn't.
00:35:52You just got that time penalty.
00:35:53So the quicker we get out of here,
00:35:54the quicker you get to the map.
00:35:56Yeah, yeah.
00:35:57Okay.
00:35:58Let's go intersection.
00:35:59Here we go, here we go.
00:36:00We're on.
00:36:01Hola.
00:36:02Hola.
00:36:03Hola.
00:36:04Welcome to Pincabecer.
00:36:07So you have to choose one gaucho.
00:36:10He's going to explain to you how to ride a horse.
00:36:12I'm going to go with Uncle.
00:36:13Uncle, the blue there.
00:36:14He's got the most knowledge.
00:36:16I think he's the one.
00:36:18I've not ridden a horse before.
00:36:20I was going to be a jockey,
00:36:22but I was bigger than the jockeys when I was born.
00:36:27One, two, three.
00:36:30Hey, there you go.
00:36:33Ha, ha, ha, ha.
00:36:40Hey, he's up.
00:36:42Nice.
00:36:43He's talking to old mate.
00:36:45Yeah, we're struggling here.
00:36:48Mate, the faster we get these done,
00:36:50the faster we get these fat bastards off us.
00:36:58Tight.
00:36:59Tight.
00:37:01Can someone translate?
00:37:02Without knowing Spanish,
00:37:04this challenge is definitely harder
00:37:06than I anticipated it was going to be.
00:37:09So to turn.
00:37:11Yeah, I got you.
00:37:12Pull the reins left and right.
00:37:13I got you. You're going the wrong way.
00:37:14Pull it, pull it.
00:37:16Why is he going backwards?
00:37:18I don't understand what you're saying.
00:37:21So you're going around that left hay bar.
00:37:22This one?
00:37:23Yeah.
00:37:24Oh, shit.
00:37:25Lil, Lil, listen.
00:37:27When you pull it back,
00:37:28the horse is going to stop.
00:37:29Yeah.
00:37:30So give it a little kick.
00:37:31Now kick it.
00:37:32Give it a little kick, babe.
00:37:33I got a bad one, man.
00:37:34Babe, give it a little kick.
00:37:35I am kicking it.
00:37:40Just need to calm the farm.
00:37:42I'm calm.
00:37:43Calm the farm.
00:37:45I really feel like we've gone too far,
00:37:47but I don't know where we could have turned.
00:37:49No, no, no, no.
00:37:50I feel like we are so wrong.
00:37:52Do you want to turn back?
00:37:53I don't know.
00:37:54But even turning back,
00:37:55I don't know where we are now.
00:37:56Like, I'm getting really lost.
00:37:58My gut instinct was saying we are on the wrong path.
00:38:01There was no other street signs or directions to a detour.
00:38:06Finca La Huala.
00:38:08Oh, shit.
00:38:09In the town of Buckworth.
00:38:11Five minutes?
00:38:12Ten minutes?
00:38:13Una hora.
00:38:14One hour?
00:38:15Another hour?
00:38:16Back that way?
00:38:17Si.
00:38:18Holy shit.
00:38:20Chloe, you're doing great.
00:38:21The main thing is,
00:38:22do not let that mother trucker tip over.
00:38:24Be careful of that milk, hon.
00:38:26Watch it.
00:38:28Good save.
00:38:30Keep squeezing that tit, puppy.
00:38:33Hey, good girl.
00:38:36Good on you, puppy.
00:38:38You are crushing it.
00:38:39You are the world's best goat milker
00:38:41I've ever seen in my life.
00:38:42So you have to massage the teat to get the ducks
00:38:44from the milk to the milk.
00:38:46So you have to massage the teat to get the ducks flowing.
00:38:49Ducks?
00:38:50The ducks.
00:38:51Ducks?
00:38:52Goats?
00:38:53No, the ducks of the teat.
00:38:55Oh, my God.
00:38:56You want to be a mother soon.
00:38:58I don't know, goats.
00:38:59What?
00:39:00Babies have ducks?
00:39:01Ducks.
00:39:02What?
00:39:05I think we're good.
00:39:06Yep.
00:39:07When Misha has your baby,
00:39:08you'll find out what ducks are.
00:39:10Please, please, please.
00:39:11Pray for two litres, Chloe.
00:39:12Okay.
00:39:13I think we're going to be good.
00:39:14I think we're going to be good.
00:39:15Oh, my God.
00:39:16Yes!
00:39:17I'm so proud of you.
00:39:18Yes!
00:39:19Yes!
00:39:20Yes!
00:39:21Come on.
00:39:22Smashed it.
00:39:23Muchas gracias.
00:39:25Come on, come on, please.
00:39:27Muchas gracias.
00:39:28Other teams actually do two litres.
00:39:30Yes, babe, they do.
00:39:31Come on, don't worry about it.
00:39:32Let's do it.
00:39:33Honestly, you saved us.
00:39:34You are the goat.
00:39:35Okay.
00:39:36Ready?
00:39:37Ready?
00:39:38Make your way to Fickerless Horse Ranch.
00:39:43And perform as Garchos to earn your next clue.
00:39:46Oh, let's go.
00:39:47Come on, let's go.
00:39:49Have you ever ridden a horse?
00:39:50I'm not good at it.
00:39:51I can do a little bit, calm it down.
00:39:55I've never done it.
00:39:56I'm good at betting on them.
00:40:02Okay.
00:40:03Vamos.
00:40:04Yeah!
00:40:05Fuente, fuente.
00:40:07Yeah!
00:40:08I'm getting the hang of this, I think.
00:40:10It's all about the vibes with the horse.
00:40:11I think they just, they feel your energy.
00:40:13We're on the way, Logan, to get judged.
00:40:14Let's go.
00:40:15Let's get this.
00:40:16Okay, we've got this.
00:40:17Oh, look at these hats.
00:40:19You look good, mate.
00:40:22Look at this.
00:40:24This is so cool.
00:40:27Stop, stop.
00:40:30Outweight for the judge.
00:40:36C.
00:40:42We're on here.
00:40:44It's Oge.
00:40:45Honestly, Bam Bam knew what was going on.
00:40:47Here we go, here we go.
00:40:48We're going into the middle.
00:40:50He's obviously got the moves in the UFC ring.
00:40:52He had the moves up on the horse as well.
00:40:53Stop.
00:40:54Turning, turning, turning.
00:40:56Okay, nice.
00:40:57Nice.
00:41:08All right.
00:41:09Turns out we were spinning our horses the wrong way.
00:41:12Try again?
00:41:13Yep.
00:41:14Again?
00:41:15Let's go.
00:41:16Okay.
00:41:21Fat doesn't need any more fat.
00:41:23After eating a kilo of cow's head today,
00:41:26I'm not going to eat cow or beef for about two or three days.
00:41:31Can you see your mouth?
00:41:33Okay.
00:41:34Oh, good man.
00:41:37Because now I'm even burping.
00:41:41What did you smell?
00:41:43Can we wrap this up?
00:41:47That's the worst one ever.
00:41:49Oh, no.
00:41:51Performers' gut chores to earn your next clue.
00:41:54Beautiful.
00:41:55Let's go.
00:41:56I've eaten cow's head all around the world, to be honest.
00:41:58This is the first time in Argentina, though.
00:41:59Yes, yes.
00:42:00And this is, I've got to say, the finest I've had.
00:42:07Oh.
00:42:10I mean, the ambience could be nicer.
00:42:13Bridge, my beautiful wife, she vomited like a lady.
00:42:18Pardon me.
00:42:20You're so refined.
00:42:22And when I take her to a restaurant,
00:42:23I know that she can vomit into a bucket quietly.
00:42:30Can you do it off the table, please?
00:42:31Sorry.
00:42:32Maybe keep the bucket on your lap.
00:42:37I just wanted to let the chefs know they did a great job.
00:42:40You've cooked it perfectly.
00:42:45They may disagree.
00:42:46Babe, babe, not on the table.
00:42:49Sorry, I didn't know it was coming up.
00:42:51You've got to, like, do a swift move,
00:42:53like, you know, like, just flick of the neck, right?
00:42:56Flick of the neck to the left, and you vomit off the table.
00:43:00I've had so much fat built up in there, I can't get it down.
00:43:06So I've got the whole freaking head in my stomach right now.
00:43:09Lily and Jet, they dipped out of the challenge.
00:43:12I think it might have been the right choice,
00:43:14cos I don't know if I can continue.
00:43:20What?
00:43:24Can we move tables?
00:43:30I don't think I can... I can't eat any more.
00:43:32You're saying you can't eat it.
00:43:33I can eat a little bit more, but...
00:43:35A little bit, but all of it?
00:43:36I got to the stage where I was envious
00:43:38of the choice that Lily made.
00:43:39We should have taken the time penalty with them.
00:43:42Why are we doing this?
00:43:44I don't know.
00:43:45I'm thinking, is it worth it at all?
00:43:48Yes, it is.
00:43:50$100,000 for our charity, this is what it's worth it.
00:43:53Salvos Melbourne 614
00:43:55helps people who are experiencing homelessness.
00:43:58Come on, do it.
00:44:00Like, $100,000 would be able to feed
00:44:03so many homeless people.
00:44:05That's a good motivation.
00:44:07OK, congratulations.
00:44:11That was really hard.
00:44:12I don't think I can run off.
00:44:14Congrats.
00:44:17Thank you very much.
00:44:18Thank you so much.
00:44:19Thank you so much.
00:44:20Can we book in for next Saturday?
00:44:21All right.
00:44:22Yeah, bye-bye.
00:44:24Let's do it, sweetie.
00:44:25Saddle up and take your reins and perform as...
00:44:28Gauchos.
00:44:29Gauchos?
00:44:30Gauchos.
00:44:31I'm sure they like the cowboys.
00:44:32You love the cowboy.
00:44:33Let's go.
00:44:36The last turn was meant to be a left-hand turn,
00:44:39and we went back and did it again.
00:44:41Stop, stop, to the left. Harder.
00:44:44Come on.
00:44:47Thanks.
00:44:48Stop.
00:44:49Let's go.
00:44:56Gracias, baby.
00:44:57Well done, guys.
00:44:59Gracias, amigo.
00:45:00We love you. See ya.
00:45:01Love you guys.
00:45:02Gracias.
00:45:03Thanks for working together.
00:45:06Here we go.
00:45:07Drive to Deep Campo Alegre.
00:45:10And search for Bo at the pit stop.
00:45:13Here we are at Campo Alegre,
00:45:15which means the happy land.
00:45:17This stunning area of Argentina,
00:45:19nestled at the edge of the Andes,
00:45:21is where this majestic mountain range meets the water.
00:45:24It's also part of the Real Inca Trail,
00:45:26and it's the epic location where teams will need to find me
00:45:29for the pit stop and second leg of the Amazing Race Australia.
00:45:33And joining me today is local gauchita, Paz.
00:45:37Do you ride horses?
00:45:38Yes, I come.
00:45:39Yeah, I rode the horse today.
00:45:40You did?
00:45:41Yeah, like a gaucho.
00:45:44I hope the last team may be eliminated.
00:45:46All right, let's go.
00:45:47We're good as a team.
00:45:48OK, let's go.
00:45:49But as soon as that challenge is over,
00:45:51it's back on your own.
00:45:54Oh, my God.
00:45:55If we don't get eliminated today,
00:45:57I'll be so amazed.
00:45:59Knowing that we had that time penalty,
00:46:01we knew we had to get to the pit stop pretty fast.
00:46:04Yeah, who knows?
00:46:05It'll be a waiting game.
00:46:11Slow down, Mel.
00:46:13Yeah, I think that means let's drive.
00:46:15Oh, yeah, finca, finca.
00:46:16It says finca.
00:46:17Finca la juela!
00:46:19There are other teams, right?
00:46:21Is there other teams?
00:46:22We're calm today.
00:46:23Hi, ladies.
00:46:24Hi.
00:46:25It's tough.
00:46:26We've been here for ages.
00:46:28Yeah.
00:46:29It took us a long, long time.
00:46:31This has just been two days,
00:46:32and you and I have done so many things
00:46:34we probably would never have done our whole life.
00:46:36Ever.
00:46:37You're doing well, honey.
00:46:38I'm really proud of you.
00:46:39Keep going, keep going.
00:46:40You need to overcome your fears.
00:46:41She rode a horse.
00:46:42She could actually be a farmer.
00:46:44Like, she could be.
00:46:45She was a natural.
00:46:46Old Tyrell had a goat.
00:46:51All right, that's it.
00:46:52I swear to God.
00:46:53Oh, my God, look at that.
00:46:55Yes!
00:46:57All right.
00:46:58Perform as gachos to earn your next clue.
00:47:01Gachos.
00:47:02What's a gachos?
00:47:03I don't know.
00:47:04Can we get a room?
00:47:05Intersection.
00:47:06Yes, intersection.
00:47:07We need to do it with someone else.
00:47:09Yes.
00:47:10Are these the boys?
00:47:11Yeah, boys.
00:47:12Rapido, rapido.
00:47:13It's the intersection.
00:47:14We need you.
00:47:15Come on.
00:47:16Guys, we're at an intersection.
00:47:17Are you guys happy to be a team with us?
00:47:19Yep.
00:47:20Definitely.
00:47:21Yay!
00:47:22Let's be friends.
00:47:23Let's be friends.
00:47:24We've got to get our horse on.
00:47:25Yep.
00:47:26Hi, guys.
00:47:27Hi, guys.
00:47:28Intersection.
00:47:29I guess we're doing this together.
00:47:30You wanna?
00:47:31We're doing this together, yeah.
00:47:32Let's do it.
00:47:33Ravonna takes charge because essentially it's a dance routine that we're presented with
00:47:36just on horseback.
00:47:37Okay, go.
00:47:38Ready, go.
00:47:39Around, round, round, and then we go forward.
00:47:42Wait, wait, wait.
00:47:43And then, yeah, we'll go out.
00:47:45Yeah.
00:47:46We met at an audition for a show that was like singing and dancing.
00:47:50So this challenge...
00:47:51It was easy for us.
00:47:53We do one more circle on our own.
00:47:55On our own.
00:47:56And then that's the way.
00:47:57And then we...
00:47:58And that's it.
00:47:59But I've never ridden a horse before.
00:48:01I'm thinking, how hard could it be?
00:48:04Three.
00:48:05One, two, three.
00:48:06Right on.
00:48:07I thought, yes, the country and western singers.
00:48:09Oh, shit.
00:48:10Surely they've ridden a couple of horses in their time.
00:48:12How do I go left?
00:48:13Just go left.
00:48:14This way.
00:48:15No, no, this way.
00:48:16Yeah.
00:48:17Shit.
00:48:18My horse is hungry.
00:48:19Oh, no.
00:48:20Oh, no.
00:48:21Oh, no.
00:48:22He's eaten the...
00:48:23He's eaten the prop.
00:48:24No.
00:48:25He's eaten the props.
00:48:26What do I do?
00:48:27It was exposed today.
00:48:28We know nothing about horses.
00:48:30When you go forward, if you're kind, like, thrust.
00:48:34Thankfully, we were with Oscar, the horse whisperer, on our team,
00:48:39and he gave us some great advice.
00:48:41And thrust, it helps.
00:48:42See, I'm going forward.
00:48:43Oh, you're riding it.
00:48:45Yeah, ride it.
00:48:46Ride it.
00:48:47So you've got to move with it.
00:48:48And we were like, ooh.
00:48:49And it was like, oh, oh.
00:48:51Go into your positions.
00:48:53Come on.
00:48:54We'll be all right.
00:48:55Come on.
00:48:56We're away.
00:48:57Yep, right.
00:48:58OK, we've got this, guys.
00:48:59Thrust.
00:49:00Yep, we're good.
00:49:01Oh, this is good.
00:49:02And thrust.
00:49:04We are riding this baby.
00:49:08Yeah!
00:49:10I'm so excited.
00:49:11Gracias.
00:49:12Oh, he's sore.
00:49:14The legs are sore.
00:49:16Yes, good rip.
00:49:18Search for Bo at the pit stop.
00:49:19OK, let's go.
00:49:20Let's go.
00:49:22One more time?
00:49:23No, no, we're good.
00:49:25We're good.
00:49:26Yeah.
00:49:27We're good.
00:49:28Are we really?
00:49:29Yeah, we are.
00:49:30We are.
00:49:31Everyone was going, let's go and get tested.
00:49:32I was the only one that wasn't eager to perform.
00:49:36Wait for us, boys.
00:49:37Excellent.
00:49:38Good pace.
00:49:39Perfect.
00:49:40Wait for us.
00:49:41Wait for us.
00:49:43Yeah, my horse was broken.
00:49:45I couldn't respond to anything or very little that I did.
00:49:48Turn it.
00:49:49Come on, kick your left, kick your right heel, Ian.
00:49:51Thorpy's horse didn't know where it was and didn't want to ride with us.
00:49:55He is so far out of frame, and he didn't know what to do, the poor sucker.
00:49:59Hey, wait, guys, wait, wait, wait, wait.
00:50:02Ian, we're waiting for Ian.
00:50:03We're waiting for Ian.
00:50:04OK, ready?
00:50:08Tuck your left foot into it, mate.
00:50:10I have.
00:50:11You were getting frustrated.
00:50:12Oh, no, it was frustrating as hell.
00:50:15Everyone turn.
00:50:17Nice, nice.
00:50:19Yeah.
00:50:20Yep, we're straight?
00:50:21Everyone straight?
00:50:22No.
00:50:23I was concerned.
00:50:24You know, we've wasted this amount of time here.
00:50:26I was struggling.
00:50:29Do you want a different horse, Ian?
00:50:30Do you want to try a different horse?
00:50:32Well done, well done.
00:50:33I got a new horse.
00:50:35I'm much happier.
00:50:37All right, we got this, guys.
00:50:39Don't stress, Ian.
00:50:40You got this.
00:50:42Three, two, one, and you're off.
00:50:47Looking good, you beautiful stallions.
00:50:50You've been in high-performance sport.
00:50:52You know that you cannot be successful unless you fail.
00:50:56You got it, Ian.
00:50:57And knowing when you do fail, it's about just moving on
00:51:00and being successful in the next thing.
00:51:03Come on.
00:51:04Yes!
00:51:05Woo-hoo!
00:51:09We're in great shape, actually.
00:51:10We're in great shape.
00:51:11That's great, Havana.
00:51:12Perfect.
00:51:13Perfect.
00:51:15Pretty good, guys.
00:51:16Yeah.
00:51:17Woo-hoo!
00:51:20Yep.
00:51:23Search for Beau at the pit stop.
00:51:24Hurry, the last team may be eliminated.
00:51:26What did you think of it, though?
00:51:27Oh, it was amazing.
00:51:28I loved it much more than the meat.
00:51:31Let's go.
00:51:32Yep.
00:51:34I've never ridden a horse in my life.
00:51:36What are you talking about?
00:51:37You've been riding a stallion for five years now.
00:51:40Come on.
00:51:41I knew you were going to say that.
00:51:42You've got a stallion at home.
00:51:45Good, guys?
00:51:46You good, guys?
00:51:47Oh, we're good.
00:51:48I think so.
00:51:49I don't know.
00:51:50We're waiting for our partner.
00:51:51You guys smash it.
00:51:52Thanks, guys.
00:51:53I had the possibility to ride a horse.
00:51:55It was amazing.
00:51:56I loved it much more than the meat.
00:51:58Let's go.
00:51:59Yep, intersection.
00:52:00All right, well, we'll go with black.
00:52:02I had the possibility, so we're waiting for Mel in there.
00:52:07So we've got no choice but to team up.
00:52:12I'll appreciate everybody who does this every day,
00:52:14these poor goats and the farmers.
00:52:17Yep.
00:52:18Oh, my God, what a tough, tough job.
00:52:21We were having a really hard day.
00:52:26And then the most beautiful thing that I've ever witnessed
00:52:30happen.
00:52:31Oh, my God.
00:52:32There's a goat having a baby.
00:52:35Oh, this is incredible.
00:52:37Oh, my God, Emily.
00:52:40I don't want to distress her.
00:52:42Oh, my God.
00:52:43Oh, my God.
00:52:49We're going to name her.
00:52:50Oh, what shall we name her?
00:52:54We're going to name her Logan.
00:52:56We're going to name her Logan.
00:52:59You can name her Logan.
00:53:01My daughter, Logan.
00:53:03They've struggled a lot with mental health in the past few years.
00:53:07I've struggled many a times
00:53:09not knowing whether I'm going to come home to my child.
00:53:12And that's why this race and charity means just so much to me,
00:53:17to raise awareness for the Black Dog Institute.
00:53:21I want families to be able to navigate the mental health system.
00:53:25That's Logan.
00:53:27Thank you, Logan.
00:53:29And it gave us that push to keep going.
00:53:32Oh, my gosh.
00:53:33Hello, little baby.
00:53:34We love you.
00:53:35We've got to keep racing.
00:53:36We love you.
00:53:37I knew Logan was with me and I really did feel in this moment
00:53:41this was a rebirth.
00:53:43I want her to know that I'm so very, very proud
00:53:46of the progress that she's made
00:53:48and that I love her unconditionally.
00:53:51And, yeah, that this is what I'm doing this for.
00:53:55Oh, my God.
00:53:59I love you.
00:54:03You've done it.
00:54:04Thank you so much.
00:54:05Well done.
00:54:07When's it going to say this time?
00:54:08I don't know.
00:54:09Let's go.
00:54:10Settle up to earn your next clue.
00:54:12God!
00:54:14We have to get there first to start our time penalty.
00:54:17I totally agree.
00:54:18I feel guilty that I was the one that made us take the time penalty.
00:54:21Honestly, babe, I don't think I would have been able
00:54:23to stomach that any more than you,
00:54:24and it would have been worse to get halfway through,
00:54:26start vomiting and not be able to stop.
00:54:28Yeah.
00:54:29Look, if we get there and we're first, we're doing a shoo-in.
00:54:34I agree.
00:54:37You watch Top Gear?
00:54:39No.
00:54:40You heard of Jonathan Lepalia?
00:54:42No.
00:54:45He's shorter in real life.
00:54:48Yeah, turn.
00:54:50Great eyeballs.
00:54:51Let's go.
00:54:56Let's go, lads.
00:54:58There!
00:54:59I see it!
00:55:00We can run!
00:55:03Oh, there they are.
00:55:04Can you see?
00:55:10It doesn't feel real.
00:55:11It doesn't feel real.
00:55:13It's not real.
00:55:14Bienvenidos a Salta.
00:55:16Welcome to Salta.
00:55:17Muchas gracias.
00:55:18Gracias.
00:55:21Jett and Lily, you are the first team to arrive.
00:55:23However, because you did not finish
00:55:25the Strong Stomach Eating Challenge,
00:55:27you'll be serving a one-hour penalty.
00:55:30Please be seated.
00:55:32I know you gave it everything.
00:55:34We gave ourselves every opportunity
00:55:36with that time penalty to stay in it by getting there first,
00:55:40and it was just a case of sitting and waiting.
00:55:45It's Bam Bam and Logan.
00:55:47Can't miss them.
00:55:48Can't miss them.
00:55:49What do?
00:55:50What do?
00:55:54Bienvenidos a Salta.
00:55:55Welcome to Salta.
00:55:58Bam Bam and Logan, you are the second team to arrive.
00:56:02However, you're the first team to check in.
00:56:09We said to ourselves, if we ever come first,
00:56:11we want to get on the mat and do a shoeie.
00:56:14Use my shoe.
00:56:16Leave a little bit for me.
00:56:17A little bit for me.
00:56:21Brand new shoes.
00:56:27Wow, yes.
00:56:28Not what my uncle's getting for Christmas.
00:56:34It's a hard pill to swallow.
00:56:36We had an hour time penalty,
00:56:38and not knowing where we were actually going to finish
00:56:40was pretty daunting.
00:56:42Fingers crossed we're not going home.
00:56:44Praying, praying we're not going home tonight, yeah.
00:56:51Where do you reckon these girls are?
00:56:53I don't know.
00:56:54I think they just decided to stay and become farmers themselves.
00:56:56That's how long they're taking.
00:56:57We had to wait about 45 minutes all over it.
00:57:00Even though they're taking a while,
00:57:01they can still knock us out.
00:57:02But at the end, I want to knock them off.
00:57:04Send them home.
00:57:07Here we go.
00:57:08Oh my goodness.
00:57:09OK, get your cowgirl on, honey.
00:57:11OK.
00:57:12Yeehaw!
00:57:14There's still some teams there.
00:57:15Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
00:57:18Quick, quick.
00:57:19Come on, girls.
00:57:20Oh my God.
00:57:21We couldn't do this without you guys.
00:57:23Once we saw Cyril and Eden,
00:57:25I think we thought, OK, we still have a chance.
00:57:27Yeah.
00:57:28There's always something that can happen in this race.
00:57:30So we're still in the race.
00:57:31Yes, I know.
00:57:34Do you like the colour pink?
00:57:36Yes.
00:57:38I felt so anxious all day
00:57:41since we decided to take the penalty.
00:57:43It was a long, long hour.
00:57:49It's a nice lake.
00:57:50Oh my God.
00:57:51Oh my God.
00:57:53Billy and Oscar.
00:57:54Father, son.
00:57:56Yes.
00:57:57Well done, boy.
00:57:58Good work.
00:57:59Hola.
00:58:00Bienvenidos a Salta, Argentina.
00:58:02Welcome to Salta.
00:58:04Gracias.
00:58:05Billy and Oscar, you are the third team to arrive.
00:58:08Yes.
00:58:09Good boy.
00:58:10But you're the second team to check in.
00:58:12Hey, bring it in.
00:58:14Jesus, good to see your face.
00:58:17What's this?
00:58:21Yes.
00:58:22Brooke and Adam, you are the fourth team to arrive.
00:58:25Yeah.
00:58:26But you're the third team to check in.
00:58:28Oh.
00:58:30We'd seen some of the other teams coming in
00:58:32and we started to get a little bit worried.
00:58:34Dorpy and Christian, you are the fifth team to arrive.
00:58:37Yep.
00:58:38You're the fourth team to check in.
00:58:42Chloe and Emily, you are the sixth team to arrive,
00:58:45but you're the fifth team to check in.
00:58:49Barna and Steph, you are the seventh team to arrive,
00:58:52but the sixth team to check in.
00:58:54Yes.
00:58:55Pete and Bridget, you are the eighth team to arrive,
00:58:58but the seventh team to check in.
00:59:00I was sort of thinking that this could be the end for us.
00:59:05I reckon we can get this in one go, guys.
00:59:07One go, all right?
00:59:08Are we not listening to Natalie's instructions?
00:59:10OK, guys, one go.
00:59:11All right, Nat, it's all on you.
00:59:13I know, Sarah, I was like, I'm not an animal fan,
00:59:15and Eden was finding it quite difficult.
00:59:17Ready to turn?
00:59:18So I felt like I may as well take the lead on this one.
00:59:21Come on.
00:59:22Come on.
00:59:23We're almost there.
00:59:24Come on, guys.
00:59:31Come on.
00:59:32Back to the park.
00:59:35Hurry, the last team may be eliminated.
00:59:37Cyril and Eden are great.
00:59:39And Cyril's reputation, we were pleasantly surprised.
00:59:42Putting it out there, she's lovely.
00:59:44As soon as we walked out the gates and got to the car,
00:59:46the friendship ended.
00:59:48We had to be enemies again.
00:59:50We're our teammate and they're our enemies.
00:59:52We had to wait all that time for them.
00:59:53We can't lose to them.
00:59:54We just can't lose to them.
00:59:55So, you know what?
00:59:56I'm going to follow them because we're
00:59:57going in the same direction.
00:59:58And they're behind, so it's OK.
01:00:00I'm going to follow them.
01:00:01Wherever they go, we go.
01:00:04Mel, or maybe someone has taken a time penalty
01:00:06for something else that they didn't complete.
01:00:08That's right, maybe.
01:00:15OK, oh, they're still on our tail net.
01:00:18It's neck and neck.
01:00:19We can't lose.
01:00:20We cannot lose, man.
01:00:21Well, we're going to have to run our hearts out at the end.
01:00:24Put that backpack.
01:00:25Get it on.
01:00:26Run.
01:00:27Game on, Mel.
01:00:29This is intense.
01:00:32Yes, yes, yes.
01:00:34Yes, yes, go, go, go.
01:00:37And there's a sign.
01:00:38Yes.
01:00:44Jen, Lily, please step back on the mat.
01:00:49There you go.
01:00:52All right, guys, your one-hour penalty is up.
01:00:55Yes, you were the first team to arrive,
01:00:58but you are the eighth team to check in,
01:01:00and you are still in the race.
01:01:02So, that's awesome.
01:01:04It was the biggest relief.
01:01:06Well done.
01:01:07You're in.
01:01:08You're just in, just in, just in.
01:01:09That's all that matters.
01:01:10That's all that matters.
01:01:11Save it for the final.
01:01:12We're just so stoked with eighth.
01:01:13An eighth place is better than.
01:01:15Going home.

01:03:08Raise awareness for mental health,
01:03:09which we've both experienced a lot of,
01:03:12and suicide prevention, and, you know,
01:03:14they really are a support network for everyone
01:03:16that, you know, either suffers from mental ill health
01:03:19or knows someone who does.
01:03:22We'd shone a light on our charity,
01:03:24the Black Dog Institute,
01:03:25to not have shame around mental health
01:03:27and to support suicide prevention.
01:03:29So grateful to be a part of this show.
01:03:32This is absolutely incredible.

01:03:48Oh, thanks, Mo!
01:03:51We did what we came to do.
01:03:53Of course, you always want to go further,
01:03:55but we were really proud of what we achieved.

01:04:18where the spirit of humanity meets incredible beauty.
01:04:23There's a zebra there, a zebra.
