00:00Camarans defended the actions of Vice President Sara Duterte and the PINU Politika Umano, the national fund.

00:09The congressmen insisted that all of their actions are based on their duties and mandates.

00:17Mela Lesmora was in the center of the news live.

00:20Aljo, one by one, the Mambabatas responded to the allegations laid by Vice President Sara Duterte in her new video that was released online by the Mambabatas Walang Politika sa Pambansang Pondo.

00:38At the press conference earlier, the congressmen defended the Mambabatas, whether they are allies of the government or not, each agency of the government.

00:48The congressmen are trying to find a suitable fund based on their mandates and needs.

00:55The Mambabatas responded to the statement of Vice President Sara Duterte that there is information that the OVP is defending Umano as a part of the attack on her.

01:07The Vice President also said that she will not stop talking about the impeachment plot against her in the camera.

01:16The Mambabatas also denied the statement of the House Assistant Majority Leader Zia Alonto Adjong and One Rider Party List Representative Roger Gutierrez.

01:25Like their earlier statements, there is no such statement in the Congress and to be honest, they only heard it from VP Sara.

01:34The House Assistant Majority Leader Paulo Ortega continued to say that Duterte is the one attacking herself because she is saying that the issue is all about self-inflicted Umano.

01:48According to House Deputy Majority Leader Jude Acidre, all of their actions in the camera are based on their duties and mandates.

01:57She also hopes that she will not blame the Congress for everything that they are doing for the country.

02:04At this point, let's listen to the part of the statement of Vice President Duterte and some congressmen.

02:13The Office of the Vice President budget was defended.

02:16We also heard that the budget given to the Office of the Vice President is only a possible peso.

02:23We are ready, I am ready, in the Office of the Vice President to work even if there is no budget.

02:31Our office is small, our operations are small, that's why we can work even if there is no budget.

02:39We know that it is part of the attack, that's why we will continue what we need to do for the country.

02:47I honestly take offense that the Vice President has chosen to make all these accusations over media, over an obviously scripted television interview.

03:00If she has a lot to say, why didn't she say it when she was here in Congress?

03:08All these claims about the leadership, about confidential funds, it's very disheartening.

03:14Because, why did we do the right thing for the people, we did everything to be transparent, we are the ones to be accused of doing something wrong, right?

03:44The Department, whatever the office, they have what they need to carry their constitutional mandate.
