00:00Hello, good morning. Well, we've got a mix of weather today, some sunny spells, showers,
00:05some cloudier skies with rain and drizzle, also some fine and settled conditions with
00:09some warm sunshine. If you want to know where that is, then keep listening. But the reason
00:14why we've got this mixed bag of weather is that we've got high pressure to the south
00:17of the country, low pressure to the north, and we've got this cold front which is slowly
00:22edging its way towards the southeast of the country, and that's where we'll see that cloud
00:26and those longer spells of rain. Down to the south though, after quite a cold start,
00:31this is where we're going to see the best of the weather, plenty of sunny spells and
00:35feeling quite warm in the sunshine by the afternoon, perhaps just a bit more cloud though
00:39compared to yesterday. Those outbreaks of rain and drizzle are going to move their way
00:43into northern parts of Wales, northern parts of England, and it could be a touch heavy
00:47over any hilly areas. And to the north, a day of sunny spells and showers, but some
00:53of these showers could be quite heavy at times with some hail, perhaps even the odd
00:57rumble of thunder. Now in terms of temperatures, it's the south and southeast that hold on
01:02to that warmer weather, highs of 20 to 21 Celsius, but further north we're seeing highs
01:07of around 18 Celsius, so still warm where you do catch the sunshine and then those much
01:12lighter winds. Now into the evening, as that weather front continues to move its way south,
01:17there will still be some spells of rain and drizzle, but it's generally going to be easing
01:21off, but staying quite cloudy to the south. And where we see those cloudier skies, that's
01:25where we're going to have a milder night compared to of late, but elsewhere where we've got
01:29those clearer skies and those lighter winds, that's where those temperatures are going
01:33to drop down. So a chillier night this time in the north and slightly milder in the south.
01:40Now as we head into next week, we say goodbye to that weather front as it moves its way
01:45towards the south, and this allows high pressure to build across the country, so plenty of
01:50fine and settled weather to come. Although a bit more of a cloudier start across the
01:54south, that cloud will lift and break through the course of the day and that will leave
01:58plenty of autumnal sunshine across the country. Perhaps just a bit more of a build of higher
02:02cloud into the northwest by the afternoon, but staying dry and once again we've got plenty
02:08of that warm sunshine. Highs of 20, 21 in the southeast and highs of 15 to 18 degrees
02:15in the north. Now if you want to know if the fine settled weather is staying, well don't
