00:00We must remember that the election manifesto of a particular political party is not just
00:06a reflection of the particular party's ideology.
00:10It is more of a reflection of the audience, the electorate, to whom this manifesto is
00:16being served.
00:17If I serve a particularly illuminated manifesto to a very dark audience, how much support
00:24am I going to elicit?
00:25And how many votes am I going to garner?
00:27So my manifesto does not just represent who I am, my manifesto represents who you are.
00:33If parties do not come up with great manifestos, it is because we, the voters, are not yet
00:41ready for greatness.
00:43And if we are ready for greatness, parties will be forced to come up with something more
00:48decent.
00:49First thing is education of the electorate.
