00:00Well, good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. I already talked about it, but everybody telling
00:04us during the offseason, you don't want to see Drake May get hurt, blah, blah, blah.
00:08That's why you're not playing him. Last night was a exact example of how that is not the
00:12issue going on here. And if the issue is that you don't want to ruin Drake May mentally,
00:18which I think that Drake May is strong mentally, I don't think anything could ruin him.
00:22But putting him in with under five minutes to play in a blowout against the Jets and
00:26enemy territory, and then him not seeing the field for the rest of the season, I think
00:29probably do more bad than good for somebody's mental state. If that's the only taste you
00:35get during an NFL season, that is going to hurt him more than putting him back out there,
00:40making sure that he's able to rebound in some way, and figuring out his path in this career.
00:48I just think if that's the only time we see him out there, and we go back to Jacoby Brissett
00:53next week and the week after that, and Drake has to sit and think about his performance
00:57in four minutes, that is going to hurt him more than it's going to help him.
01:03You can answer this better than me, but probably a good place for him to see his first NFL
01:09action. He got the jitters out. As anybody would, he seemed nervous out there. He took
01:17a couple sacks.
01:18But if you have that small of a sample size, and you just have to think about that over
01:22and over again, wouldn't you want to see more game action to get yourself back on your feet?
