00:00Season 2 of the hit competition show, Young Creative Challenge, kicked off today way after
00:06the close of its hugely successful pilot season.
00:11The show that features discovery of the best talents in seven artistic categories include
00:16songwriting, playwriting, animation, game development, and content creation, and offers
00:22cash prizes of Php 50,000, a quarter of a million, to the first prize of half a million
00:30pesos, along with consolation prizes for all the other competitors.

00:40Showcasing the country's different traditional dances incorporated with modern rhythmic movements
00:46and music, this is how the Young Creative Challenge season 2 kicked off today.
01:05For this season, it is guided with the theme of love, creativity, and future.
01:11The competition is open to 18 to 35 years old as regular participants.
01:30Top winners in every category will receive up to a million pesos cash prize.
01:36As a new season, the DTI also opened the competition to elementary and high school
01:41participants.
01:55Winners will receive cash prizes from Php 50,000 to half a million pesos, and Php 10,000
02:02for consolation prizes.
02:04The event was graced by Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla.
02:22Senator Aymen Marquez, represented by the actress Ella Cruz, showed her continued commitment
02:28to empower young Filipino creatives.
02:30The senator has been a staunch supporter of Young Creative Challenge since its first
02:35season.
02:36The event became more creative and energetic as Cody Lalo, season 1 grand winner for songwriting
02:45category, performed her winning piece, Filipina, and other guest performers who were also winners
02:51from season 1.
