00:00It's just that, you know, you've got you've got these four guys in AAA that there's, you know,
00:05no room for, you know, you know what I mean? Like, where do you put Marcelo Meyer when so,
00:10you know, story is here. He's healthy. I don't know. So Meyers insurance. Hopefully you can get
00:15through a year so you can go up and down it and you could say, well, you make room for Roman
00:18Anthony. But OK, then why are you going to hold on to William Bray? You so you can go a different
00:22a few different avenues. You know, you can trade for a big right handed bat and sign Corbin Burns,
00:27but I don't see them just going out and spending for Burns and going out and spending for,
00:32but, you know, Tosca Hernandez or Bregman or Adamus and keeping all of these assets,
00:38you know, because part of the whole thing, too, maybe it's an older philosophy because everybody
00:41gets hurt. But it's like if I can, you know, trade for a controllable starter,
00:45you know, that's twenty five years old, that's three years left of arbitration,
00:49maybe extend him. I feel better about that than giving an eight, nine year deal to a 30 year
00:53old Corbin Burns. So it's just a philosophy. How many of the big four prospects do you think
00:58could be on the opening day roster? Hopefully none. And I say that because, you know, let's
01:05just say you put Roman Anthony, your big league right fielder, and Christian Campbell is your
01:09second baseman. What if they turn into Jackson Holiday and they're hitting a buck, you know,
01:13in the middle of May and you're actually trying to win this year and you got to send them down?
01:17Who's your second baseman? Who's your right fielder? To me, put a roster together with
01:22none of them on the opening day. So that way that on a triple A, when the inevitable injury
01:27does happen, your season isn't doesn't collapse or he's just so damn good that you just we got
01:33to find room for him. You know what I mean? And you make a move. But, you know, I think when you
01:38see one sixty two and you go through these years, you're there every day like depth is everything.
01:42And if you don't have it, you are done. I don't care who you are.
