03:23Due to a radio accident, ladies and gentlemen, they were unable to compete.
03:27The 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Holley took their place in the tournament.
03:32And of course, you know that the Kid and Bob Holley pulled off the impossible.
03:37Yes, the Cinderella Team actually defeated Bam Bam Bigelow and Tataka last night at the WWF Royal Rumble.
03:47You know, Sparkplug, Holley, and the 1-2-3 Kid claim to be the San Diego Chargers of the World Wrestling Federation.
03:54You gotta wonder how these guys are gonna fare today, McMahon.
03:57They took an awful beating last night at the hands of Bigelow and Tataka.
04:01Yes, no question about that, but look at the smiles on those two kids' faces if you like.
04:07The 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Sparkplug Holley.
04:11Yes, they pulled it off, the Cinderella Team.
04:14And what a victory party they had last night.
04:17I heard old Bob took the Kid out in his AMC Pacer, drove him around town for a victory lap,
04:25and then fed the Kid milk and cookies.
04:27What a couple party animals those two cats are.
04:30Well, the question is whether or not they are ready for the tag team with the smoking guns.
04:35This should be a tremendous tag team championship matchup here tonight, live on Monday Night Raw.
04:42Well, I'll be sure to let you know if it's a tremendous matchup,
04:46because nobody knows tag team action like HB Kid.

04:52Of course, the Royal Rumble, hot, ladies and gentlemen, just about as hot as it can get.
04:57But it got even hotter after the Royal Rumble was over.

05:42took a tremendous drubbing from Bam Bam Bigelow and from Tataka Bat.

05:48But you have to admit, notwithstanding that,
05:50they are really on an emotional high.
05:52Coming in tonight, hip toss, no, block.
05:55And an arm drag takedown.
05:56That's another way to get a man down.

06:02And snapping out of that is Billy Gunn.
06:04Both men lightning-like quick.
06:06Well, I tell you what, they look pretty good tonight.
06:08And it looks like the tempers are about to flare.

06:16Billy and Bart against the Tag Team Champions.
06:20They said it couldn't be done.
06:22But the 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Holly became WWF Tag Team Champions.
06:27You know, the Smoking Guns, I'm sure, were contemplating a match,
06:30as I would suggest almost everyone would be,
06:32contemplating a match with Tataka and Bam Bam.
06:35So the Gunns actually only had about 24 hours to prepare psychologically
06:39and strategically for Bob Holly and the 1-2-3 Kid.
06:44Likewise, the Kid and Bob Holly must,
06:46I don't know if they can recuperate from last night
06:49in the nick of time here to have a successful title defense.
06:52Well, you know, I guess everybody thought Bam Bam and Tataka were gonna win.
06:56You can't blame them.
06:57They were definitely the odds-on favorites.
07:00And the Kid taking the karate stance.
07:04The 1-2-3 Kid, he's one person you do not want to take lightly.
07:08He can come at you from every direction.
07:11In the blink of an eye, and here we go.

12:14wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation.
12:16And there's a reason for that.
12:17He's a risk taker for sure, a high risk taker.
12:19And he has to be, because obviously, he gives up a bit in terms of size.
12:25He's not quite as big as many of the other WWF superstars.
12:29He has to use those high risk maneuvers.
12:31He has to use his feet.
12:32And he does more than equalize when he gives up in size.
12:36As much as I hate to say it again, you know, he's a gutsy kid.
12:39He'll risk his body if it means winning a match.
12:42And I think the Kid just got a cowboy boot in the kisser.
12:44And Billy tried to make the tag to Bart.
12:46And, oh, no, he didn't.

16:10of keeping the Kid away from tagging his partner, Bob Holly.

16:21who were denied an opportunity to participate

16:26due to a rodeo injury.

16:37the Smoking Guns are pulling out everything
16:39in their wrestling arsenal

16:45especially after beating the Kid took.

23:23We saw the hitman Bret Hart do things

23:26Conversely, Big Daddy Cool Diesel,

23:29Shawn Michaels came on in this matchup, folks,
23:32and broke it up.
23:33That's when Big Daddy Cool put the jackknife
23:35on the hitman, had a two-count.
23:37In comes the Heartbreak Kid,
23:38Shawn Michaels, to break it up.
23:40Referee says, hey, this match has to continue.
23:43It does.
23:44At that point, the hitman Bret Hart
23:45gets the sharpshooter on Big Daddy Cool.
23:48Who comes on?
23:49Owen Hart to break this matchup again.
23:52Incredibly enough, the referee says,
23:54hey, these guys deserve it.
23:56This match will continue.
23:57And what a matchup.
23:59Finally, in the end, Big Daddy Cool Diesel,
24:02the hitman Bret Hart,
24:03the referee also gets knocked down.
24:06As the action's taking place,
24:07the ref gets knocked off his feet,
24:09and then everybody and their uncle shows up.
24:12You had Owen Hart.
24:13You had Double J Jeff Jarrett.
24:15You had the roadie.
24:16You had Bob Backlund.
24:18All these guys showing up out of nowhere
24:20when the referee went down.
24:21And of course, other referees showing up at that point.
24:23They had no choice but to stop the match.
24:26Absolutely incredible.
24:27Big Daddy Cool Diesel retains the WWF championship.
24:31And you know what?
24:32At the end of this one,
24:33Bret, Big Daddy Cool had to hug each other out of admiration.
24:36It was absolutely spectacular.
24:38All right, let's move on and talk about
24:40The Undertaker and IRS.
24:42This match also lived up to its unbelievable billing.
24:45IRS and The Undertaker, the thunder, the lightning.
24:48When The Undertaker came down the aisle,
24:50just spectacular.
24:51Again, the match went back and forth.
24:52It was pretty close.
24:53However, about halfway through,
24:55it became pretty obvious that Irwin was in trouble.
24:58So what did the million-dollar man, Ted DiBiase, do?
25:00Went and got the Druids.
25:02They come to ringside, try to distract everybody, right?
25:05Didn't matter.
25:06The Undertaker gets IRS down one, two, three, and it's over.
25:11However, The Undertaker did not have a chance to celebrate
25:15because the Druids, as they were distracting,
25:17they came on, tried to take care of The Undertaker.
25:19At that point, IRS repossesses the urn
25:24right out of the hands of Paul Bearer.
25:26He just takes it and gets out of town.
25:28Meantime, as the Druids are on The Undertaker,
25:31King Kong Bundy comes on,
25:33does his damage on The Undertaker as well.
25:35While The Undertaker is laying in the squared circle,
25:38those guys were gone.
25:39Bundy, Ted DiBiase, and the Druids
25:41quickly hightailed it out of town.
25:43It was an incredible matchup.
25:45The Undertaker victorious, but he definitely paid the price.
25:48They repossessed the urn.
25:50All right, folks, Intercontinental Championship
25:52also on the line at the Royal Rumble Spectacular.
25:55The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon, facing Double J, Jeff Jarrett,
25:59arguably two of the most athletic and flamboyant superstars
26:03in the World Wrestling Federation,
26:04and this one was absolutely incredible as well.
26:07The match went back and forth,
26:08and at one point, the Bad Guy, Razor Ramon,
26:10goes over the top rope and injures his knee.
26:13And out of nowhere, the roadie clips him from behind,
26:16causing a count-out for the Bad Guy, Razor Ramon.
26:19However, the match was not over there,
26:21because Double J, Jeff Jarrett, gets on the microphone,
26:24begins taunting Razor Ramon,
26:26calling him every name in the book.
26:28I didn't come to Tampa for a count-out.
26:30This is ridiculous.
26:31I mean, he's got some nerve.
26:32The roadie caused the count-out.
26:34Unbelievably enough, the referee restarts this matchup.
26:39So the Bad Guy, Razor Ramon, with a bad knee,
26:41hobbles back into the ring
26:43and actually mounts an unbelievable comeback.
26:46As a matter of fact, he gets Double J, Jeff Jarrett,
26:49up in the razor's edge.
26:50At that point, however, the knee just gave way.
26:53It was too much.
26:54And Double J, Jeff Jarrett, went on to become
26:57the new Intercontinental Champion
26:59in the World Wrestling Federation.
