00:00He was on the Bengals practice squad. That's where they got him.

00:02This guy has length as a player, as an edge.

00:05I watch this guy through all the preseason.

00:09I like the way this guy does play off these blocks

00:12because of the length that he has.

00:13So he could play some edge.

00:14He's really pretty decent as a run defender.

00:17So but he also plays as a stand up guy at times.

00:21So you could probably play him a little bit on the outside

00:24as a linebacker you want.

00:26But he plays hand down, stand up both.

00:29But he's a long guy, rangy guy.

00:31He does a good job of playing the read option, too.

00:33There were a couple of times where sometimes you get influenced

00:37by the quarterback, you get influenced by the ball player.

00:39There was some times in the summer where he was able to kind of show balance,

00:45maintain discipline and then attack the quarterback.

00:48Two different times where I was like, OK, this guy's not going to get full

00:52playing that way.

00:52It's like he's played this before.

00:54But he's good with the inside moves on the pass rush.

00:56He can close down from the backside.

00:58I like the way he squeezed the hole, like taking the blocker down inside

01:02and then trying to kind of compress that hole so the ball would spill to the outside.

01:07He's got the good movement from the backside.

01:09He can gain some ground with this first step.

01:11You see him get up the field.

01:13He can find his way to the corner.

01:15But to capture that corner is a little bit of a problem for him.

01:19To just get around that corner is a little bit of an issue for him.

01:22He's just he could get there, but he just doesn't have that burst

01:26or able to lower that shoulder to get around the corner.

01:30I thought he needed to be a little bit more consistent of trying to do that.

01:33If you want to if you want to look at something that he might need some work on.
