00:03Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in Barrow Hill.
00:08The victim was walking along Woodford Road in Barrow Hill near Chesterfield when he was
00:12assaulted by a man who was a passenger in a white Audi A4 between 10pm and 10.35pm on
00:18Friday August 30th.
00:20The boy suffered injuries to his chest which required hospital treatment.
00:24A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on
00:28police bail as enquiries continue.
00:32Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear with anyone who was in the area at
00:35the time and may be able to assist with their enquiries.
00:39Anyone who can help is asked to contact Derbyshire Police.
00:45An 83-year-old man who has beaten his fundraising target during a walking challenge, raising
00:49money for Alzheimer's UK on the way.
00:52Harry Johnson of Clay Cross has been taking daily walks around his hometown in an attempt
00:56to walk 30 miles in September as part of a fundraising challenge.
01:00This is the third year that the super fundraiser has been raising money with a similar challenge
01:04for the Alzheimer's charity.
01:05Thanks to the generosity of local people, he has smashed his £3,000 target with the
01:10current total standing at just over £3,600.
01:14Now the walking part of his fundraiser has been completed, Harry, with the help of Clay
01:18Cross Parish Council, will be putting on a concert at Clay Cross Social Centre on October
01:2312th.
