00:00The target of the Department of Agriculture is to add 169 sites for the sale of 29 pesos per kilo of rice.
00:08The DA also added that it is possible to sell their cheap rice again as a result of the contract growing program.

00:20The Department of Agriculture is also expanding the Rice for All and P29 program that includes up to the price of rice.
00:30Based on the survey conducted by Publicos Asia last September,
00:34the Rice for All program is considered the most approved government initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:4282% of the respondents supported the program and in line with President Marcos Jr.'s goal
00:50to ensure the existence of affordable food for Filipinos.
00:55Under the program, the poorest Filipino can afford to buy 29 pesos per kilo of rice.
01:0245 pesos per kilo of rice for all sectors in 20 stores nationwide, including Metro Manila, Calabar Zone, and Central Zone.
01:13We will continue to implement P29 and Rice for All.
01:19Our target, Mr. Secretary, is 169 sites additional nationwide.
01:24This is slowly increasing. Hopefully, in the next coming days, this will be fixed.
01:32The DA assures that the supply of rice for the P29 program is still sufficient.
01:40The P29 NFA is good because the NFA can buy rice.
01:46Because they increased their selling price, they have additional funds to buy more rice.

02:08Meanwhile, the National Irrigation Administration is able to sell 1,000 sacks of cheap rice.

02:30The sale will start at 8 a.m. at the NIA Central Office Covered Courthouse in Diliman, Quezon City.
