00:00Airbus announced it will conduct a study to evaluate Sustainable Aviation Fuel or SAF's
00:06practicality and compliance with internation guidelines.
00:11Airbus is collaborating with the Department of Transport, Department of Energy and the
00:16Civil Aviation Authority to implement 100% SAF in the Philippines by 2030.
00:23As a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization or ICAO, the Philippines aims
00:29for net zero carbon emissions in aviation by 2050.
00:35This effort aligns with the DOE's goal to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality.
00:42All Airbus aircraft can currently operate with up to 50% SAF.
